Undeniably classically handsome.

He’s handsome but seems to have had quite a bit of plastic surgery or fillers. My impression only and I could be wrong. I have seen him recently as well as 6 or more years ago when he was using a different name.

Classically handsome is what? Jawline, cheekbones, facial symmetry? I could imagine someone who would (to my mind) fit that description, but would not be attractive to me personally.

Exactly.

When I hear "classically handsome" I immediately think of all the handsome men of Hollywood history. I can acknowledge that these men were handsome, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend any of them as sexual partners to anyone as that look isn't really my thing.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

Shortcutie, how's this for your idea of classically handsome?

Very very handsome but just misses the mark… maybe he’s a couple years too young?

I guess those are important attributes, but as I wrote before, to me it’s an undefinable quality.

“Classically Handsome” is similar to “Clasically Beautiful”

Its technical application is about symmetrical features, which are measurable. Applies to body and face.
Perhaps the OP means “Movie Star Handsome” which includes a favorable angle in its appeal to the eye.

Yes, I have used the terms synonymously!

How about Kristian Elix?   He has great pix--but I swear he is more (classically?) handsome in person.

He does look very handsome to me, but yes, a bit plastic.

He’s not from NYC but this guy for me is very handsome, especially in person.  I was hard-pressed between letting him do the massage or just staring at him the whole time.

Yes, he does it for me!

This masseur would meet my definition of classically handsome, bearded variety:

Agreed!  Too bad that the thread on him indicates that the man in the photos is not the man who you’re hiring.

I would have to add Eric Hassan to this list. The first time I laid eyes on him I was floored. The fact that he is also an incredibly nice, sweet and intelligent gentleman in person definitely adds to his appeal.

I agree that he’s sweet and nice. Not classically handsome but handsome nonetheless.

Which is problematic when you ask OTHER PEOPLE their opinions regarding physical appearance.

For example:

I don't find MONSIEUR_HUNG to be the least bit attractive. I don't know if I would fuck him if he paid ME !   That's how little I am attracted to the fellow.

Rainer, I would definitely do, but I also wouldn't describe his look as "classically handsome".

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you're never going to find twenty people to agree on who's handsome.

The other problem in NYC is that this is a very international crossroads. So you get people from all over the world..and you're always going to find a very broad range of types of men advertising on Rent.men.  It seems to me that what sells in middle America (All-American White boy with muscle and a fat cock) isn't necessarily what sells in multi-cultural New York. Same when you ask about "classically handsome" ...which has a broader range of Hollywood Hunks who fall into that category. I don't really see them passing through here much. Maybe there isn't much of a demand.

To me, "classically handsome" is white-bread movie star handsome.  Part of why they were so highly-prized is because they are rare.  The notion of "handsome" has shifted so that many different physical types now fit under the umbrella of "handsome."

Always interesting when we agree. The Monsieur is not for me either. Rainer is closer but I'm not sure he's quite classically handsome.

Yes, he is "handsome," but completely lacking in sex appeal.  Mitt Romney, to me, is another perfect example of a man who is very handsome, but devoid of sex appeal.

He’s been around forever it seems but I still think he would be a fun date. If all else failed he can suck himself for my amusement.

Thanks for explaining this concept. I’ve long thought this about many handsome/attractive men who were nonetheless not sexy.  I agree with you 100% that Mitt Romney is a great example of this.  I respectfully disagree on Rainer, though. I’ve met him in person and he is quite sexy.  All IMHO, of course.
