Age shaving? How much is too much and what's acceptable?

I think the high inflation of 2021-2024 affected not only money, but ages as well. I know I certainly feel older than I did a few years ago, and some men look like they've aged way faster than their online profile age changes. 😆

…or lack of changes! There are guys I see on RM and I’m sure they’re not 26 🤣 There’s a guy I follow on IG who looks 26 but says he’s 45(?)–40 something anyway. He definitely doesn’t look like he’s 30.

I was commenting to a friend last night about pictures of colleagues at a conference we weren’t at and said everyone looked so much older. Her response: we can’t all have a babyface. Meaning me…If I shave my beard I look like I’m 12. I told her it’s not always a gift to appear younger than you are. And it’s not.

When you're shopping on Rent.men...you want what you want. Not just someone who you can say:  "He looks good for his age"......

It's truly annoying to me when I choose a guy based on his youthful looks and muscular six pak...only to discover some 36 year old, who's been hitting the bag of Doritos pretty hard for the last couple of years answering the door. I've had a few occasions where the provider is just in complete denial of the fact that he's aged-out of the business but still marketing with his pix from 2014.

there's nothing wrong with being into twinks even if you're older. Hell i remember when I was a twink, I was  really into fit older men in their 30s and 40s did that make me weird? Plus, biologically, we're programmed to find youthful, sexually mature partners as desirable.

 

Getting back on topic, I think the only time when age shaving is an issue is if you don't look like the age you're pretending to be or if you use outdated pics in your profile. When I use the age filter in the search engine, I'm looking for someone who looks that age...not necessarily their GOVMENT age.

Well..I don't like "twinks"..but i do like them under 30. When I was younger, I kept my same-sex interest to myself. Years later I am still attracted to the young athletes I had to pass up in college. Point being...that although someone may still be attractive over 40 ..I wouldn't have a bit of interest in them sexually. So age shaving is annoying to me when the glory of youth has faded and they still have pix posted from ten years ago.

The actual age does not matter and most here seem to agree with it being the appearance in relation to the age that matters.  

So a 40 year old who looks thirty and says he is 30 is great for me.  A 30 year old who says he is 30 and looks 40 is not so great.  

I am fucking around with a person not a number but occasionally I am fucking around with a number of persons at the same time.
