I'm sure many PMs between forum members fly thru cyberspace every day......a member may want further details about a post somebody made or may be able to help with a question or quandary...... find a topic of interest that you can help with and throw somebody a PM........though there are a couple or more forum members who evidently don't like to chat this way, most are friendly and chatty.....keep it light and polite...... I attended one Palm Springs Friday pool party but had a family emergency at home and had to leave Saturday morning😖. Also met one of our moderators for lunch once. I have me\t some others at different locations and have even shared a front seat or back seat of a car with a few. Our friendship began with him asking about escorts I would recommend, since he complained that his first few hiring experiences had been very disappointing. I recommended a few guys I thought he might enjoy, he tried a couple of them out and found his favorite escort in the process. Although we have NOT met IRL, @whipped guy and I found we are kindred spirits through our mutual love of Italian Opera. I was hosting a favorite young provider for the weekend so I missed some of the unplanned and spontaneous events. I PM several on a regular basis. When I decided to retire to Palm Springs in 2004, I asked if anyone here had advice to offer, and I immediately received private messages from Lucky and latlrnr that they were just preparing to move here, too! They quickly became my closest friends in Palm Springs; latlrnr died unexpectedly in 2008, but Lucky is still one of my closest friends and companions. Lucky and I inaugurated the Palm Springs Weekend in 2005, through which I met many other members, including Oliver, who is also a good friend. Through Lucky I also met cooper during a visit to NYC a number of years ago. I miss jackhammer, whom I also met through Lucky, and Epigonos, whom I met through Oliver. Unicorn and I have almost met a couple of times, but circumstances intervened, though I hope we will still meet. I have chatted with many members at the Palm Springs weekends over a couple dozen years, and hope to meet Pensant this year. Although Hooboy and I spoke occasionally, I never met him in person, but I met Guy Fawkes/Daddy/Bill several times. The oddest experience, however, was that lankypeters and I both posted on the site for a couple of years before something clicked, and we realized that we had worked together closely long before the site--or even the Internet--existed, but had lost contact thirty years earlier. When we got together again in NYC, we had a lot to talk about.
