I've done a few toppings and I believe maybe two times bottoming.

You believe!  I’m intrigued to know why the number is uncertain if it’s so few? Was it a case of “is it in yet”?

I distinctly remember my first time bottoming…and he was large. It was definitely in. After he’d finished I lay there wondering if I’d be able to walk again. Half an hour later someone else was up there 😂

That's good on you.  The only thing I can recall is that in the one or two times it was awkward, and unmemorable.  Probably my fault.  😝

Also the female vagina is dual function and women piss out of there.

Gaack! Someone needs an anatomy lesson. 😬

I made a similar comment to a female friend in college and she set me straight (so to speak).

She was also the person who informed me that the actress who played Phyllis on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW told a talk show host she had been called Clorox Bleachman, and from that day forward I never called her anything else.

It might have actually been the same conversation.

When I came out I just expected that everyone did everything. Why would I turn down anything? In bed, sometimes I would top, sometimes I would bottom, often we would flip. In T-rooms and bookstores it is mostly jerk off and oral. Occasionally at the baths or in the bedroom someone would say "no" to something...mostly bottoming. I was probably 35 before I heard of the concept of "tops" and "bottoms". While I had nights I really wanted to get fucked and nights I wanted to be the top, it was mostly fluid and depended on my need at the moment or the cock/asshole I was presented with. Over time I really embraced by bottomness. Although, every once in a while I still want to top. Over time I learned that some people don't fuck or get fucked, something that I suspect increased in the age of AIDS. Just recently my toppy husband told me about the term "sides"...something he learned on one of the sleaze sites he is on. To each his own.

The first time I had sex with a man, I was shocked to discover that men actually inserted their cocks in one another's asses. I had always assumed that men had sex together by kissing while rubbing against one another. [OK, I was only 17, and had never had sex with anyone of either gender.] It took me awhile to get used to the anal thing, but I took to oral sex easily.

The vagina provides a passage for childbirth, an outlet for the monthly discharge of menstrual material and the introduction of the male sperm. I overlooked the menstrual function.

When I was fucking women, that time was a no go. So I overlooked it. Lol

That rubbing you describe is called frottage and, to my dismay, I met a gay man who was only into this. We'd be in bed, engaged it what I'd call foreplay. He'd be grinding away at my groin. In two or three minutes, it was over -- for him at least. I felt robbed. Needless to say, that relationship went nowhere. What he did felt like sneaky sex.

This discussion reminds me of a bisexual escort I hired several times a few years ago. He does both straight and gay porn and I have seen vids of his in both contexts.

He tild me once a female performer was astride him riding his cock facing away from him. All of a sudden, while the cameras were rolling in the studio, she crapped on his belly.

Obviously that part was taken out. But it probably happens in the privacy of straights' ( and maybe gays too) bedrooms and nobody talks about it. 😜

I was similar back in high school. I didn't even know about anal sex since sex ed back when I was in high school didnt' talk about gay sex or anal sex. I still remember watching my first gay porn film at age 18 and that's when I realized men did it from the backside.

As a teenager I had wet dreams making out with guys I had crushes on but for some reason never dreamt about anal sex back then... but I still knew I was gay.

In high school, two advocates came to biology class to discuss how to avoid STDs.  This was pre-HIV.

At one point they explained that homosexuals would get gonorrhea in their anus.  I had no idea what they meant.  I barely knew about straight sex.  But in the anus? How does THAT happen.

Ultimately I got up to speed on what goes where.

To the OP, if you can get past thinking of it as a dirty, or shameful place,  there is pleasure to be had.

So true! "Dirty" and "shameful" have no business in connection with sex. Then, too, having the right sexual partner can make anal sex fabulous.

To the OP, no you're not the only one.  There's plenty of guys who do not enjoy anal sex, but it will make finding guys who are OK with your limits a bit more challenging.  It is important to be a bit up front about your preferences, instead of finding it out when you get someone in your bed.  Some guys are using the term "side" to describe themselves on gay dating sites, which might make it easier.

I would also mention that you say you aren't trying to be judgmental, but the language you use does come off that way.   It's clear you have a big ick factor when it comes to anal sex, but putting it in terms of dirtyness implies that guys who enjoy it are dirty too.

No, I'm saying that, while I have a really strong stomach for "gross" things, shit is the one thing that can gross me out more than anything else.  I think it's the knowledge that it's the waste your body says it doesn't want.  Therefore, it shouldn't be there.  When I say "dirty", I mean in the same way that you wouldn't want someone who's just trod through mud to walk through your house. It makes your house dirty.  I say it in the same way that if you got someone else's blood on you, you'd know to get up right away and go wash thoroughly.  My big "ick" factor is with feces itself.  I had a dog for several years, and the grossest thing was having to pick up its poop (even with my hand in the baggy).  Poop is the ick factor and the anus is the original place it comes out.  So the anus is ick by its intrinsic connection to poop.  That's all.
