+ Lucky
The TV news tonight showed a picture of the Canyon Club Hotel as part of a story about Legionella in local pools. I found this article on the topic... https://www.desertsun.com/story/news/health/2022/03/25/palm-springs-hotel-pools-closed-test-for-legionella-bacteria/7159967001/ Good thing it will be cleared up by April... + Oliver
I’m happy to announce that one of our talented attendees, Cometdancer (Cometdance - Male Escort - Palm Springs, CA | Rent.Men), will be performing at Barracks ( https://www.barracksps.com/) Friday evening, April 8, after 9:30 pm. It’s located at 67625 East Palm Canyon Drive, Cathedral City – a short drive from Palm Springs. If you miss that, he will also be at Chill Bar (https://www.chillbarpalmsprings.com/) in Palm Springs on Saturday evening (after the dinner) after 8 pm. That’s located at 217 East Arenas Road in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. I have not met him, but our distinguished chef, Epigonos, has and has only superlatives for him! + Summerson, + José Soplanucas, + Vegas_Millennial and 1 other 2 1
+ Lucky
Many are aware that I am at increased risk of getting more sick from COVID than the general population. So now I am looking into the Pool Event on Sunday. The COVID rate is very low in Riverside County. About 3 cases per 100,000 people. So that is a comfort. Then again, guys will be attending from across the country where risk is higher. So just thinking out loud here, I am wondering if i would be the only one wearing a mask at the event. Am I overreacting?I am double vaxxed and double boosted. But, I don't want to chance illness... I still wear them in many places, for instance I’ll probably wear one tonight at crypto.com for a hockey game. Luv2play
I'm in a simular age category of risk as Lucky and I still wear a mask in many indoor settings. As for outdoor venues such as around a swimming pool with a large crowd for an extended period, we haven't had that kind of weather yet but I would still feel more comfortable wearing one. On the other hand, I have been seeing escorts throughout the pandemic, although I try to limit the occasions to when case loads in my area are at a low. Consequently when the waves have hit I have gone several months of abstinence. It actually whets the appetite for when things look good. I don't even think about what others may think of me wearing a mask and so far no-one has made a comment in my presence. Epigonos
Lucky I can’t imagine anybody criticizing you for wearing a mask at the Pool Party. I have in most instances, both indoors and outdoors, stopped wearing a mask. I’m older than you are but I do not have any major health issues. When I go shopping I still see people wearing masks. That is certainly their choice and I respect their right to do so as long as they respect my right to not do so. I’m very much looking forward to seeing you after such a long hiatus and I could care less whether or not you wear a mask. See you Sunday. + m_writer, mike carey, + Oliver and 1 other
+ Lucky
it's going to be 97 on Saturday an 89 on Sunday, so I might take @MikeBiDude's suggestion and wear only the mask! But then, that would scare people away... + Oliver, MikeBiDude, mike carey and 2 others 4

+ Billsboy4
I am planning on wearing a mask as well. Of course, I will lift it up to partake in Epigonos delicious food. The new variant of Omicron is more contagious than regular Omicron, so I'd rather be 'safe than sorry.' + Lucky
Epigonos
Well, my menu is set for the Sunday Pool Event, and I have, just about, completed the prep work for everything and am about ready to pack up and hit the road for Palm Springs. OCClient
A few years ago there was a Sunday evening gathering at a Mexican restaurant near DTPS. (There was a harp playing!) Is that a continuing tradition?
