Doubt it's the new average rate. Looks like this guy is trying to be upscale and all that and trying to weed out the low-class $300/hr max-type clients!!

It’s certainly not what I’ve been paying. Typically if I see that sort of rate, I simply respond with a friendly note saying that the price is outside of my range and wish them a good day.

That's not consistent (anywhere from ~25% - 75% inflated) with any other of my recent (during 2021) experiences in LA.

I don't think anyone really knows the "average rack rate" since the rates aren't available on Rentmen.  I'm guessing there is a wide range, but my hiring is so limited now that I wouldn't hazard to guess an average.  I doubt it's as high as $1,000 minimum for two hours, though.

I don't begrudge a guy for trying to make as much money as he can.  Maybe this guy is trying to capitalize on his twinkish, somewhat androgynous looks while he still has them.  Particularly if he ends up making "partying" a regular part of his life he could go from twink to haggard looking fairly quickly -- I've seen that more times than I can remember.

I can see the rates RM advertising escorts charge when they choose to do so. Maybe because I'm a premium client and pay for the privilege.

If you send a private message or chat 'scorts" through the RM Website a good percentage of them have standardized auto-replies to any messages which states their listed rates.

To his credit. The housing market in SFO is ridiculous but from there to be able to charge $500, the offering has to come at par, even more when there are other providers in the market of better quality for a lower price. In my experience, all these crazy rates more often than not result in a precarious service.

Same here. I tell them my maximum budget for two hours is $500 and wish them well. On several occasions the $600 price has come down to my level and a good time was had by all. 😁
