This proves that San Francisco is more expensive than the other four burroughs of NYC, my original point. Manhattan is the exception. If you averaged the cost of living per capita across the 5 burroughs of NYC, I wonder whether SF would not be more expensive.

I think when people say NYC, they refer to Manhattan. Having lived in SF before - actually, Los Altos, the housing costs are a little higher there.

Actually people from outside refer to the city as NY, NY. Even Frank Sinatra referred to it as such. Only people in Manhattan think of themselves as being the real NYorkers. 😅

The range I've seen for female escorts is 300 - 500, with the better (more experienced) ladies at the 500 end of the spectrum.  Guess I've never thought about it terms of gender/pay equity.

As New Yorker of 20 years, we only go to the outer boroughs to go to JFK airport, LGA airport , and EWR airport . ( the New York area airports) .

Basically to leave NYC.

While enroute to JFK, one may opt to visit a provider / masseur in Brooklyn. Its sort of on the way anyway.  ( esp if its an overnight flight to Europe / Asia ) . Nothing puts me more at ease than pre departure cock.

My friend used to be a female escort, and one of the reasons they charge more is because most rent hotel rooms for sessions. It's just not safe for women to do out calls with strangers, and certainly not in calls. There are just a ton of horror stories when it comes to straight men being highly aggressive and having that be the norm that female escorts experience.

Obviously they can’t. It also makes sense they’d need to charge more to cover for safer accommodations. Sad but understandable…

Oh you can definitely say no if they reveal that part of themselves through text/email/phone calls, but a lot of times that side doesn't come out until you're in your session together. Not that male escorts don't experience terrible things because sex work in general is a tough business, but women have to deal with sexism on top of a lot of various dangers. It's just a sad fact that there are a number of men across the world who do not consider women as equals or anything more than sex objects and can easily end up booking a session where they don't show that side of themselves until later.

I would say that’s accurate. $300 was the going rate pre-pandemic and perhaps throughout. But many of the quality guys I see are at $400 which is reasonable. I think they offer things at that price point that you don’t get with the cheaper guys. Just my experience.

In my nearly twenty years of hiring, I’ve most definitely learned that the price you pay has no relevance to how good the escort is.  I’ve had some pretty good hot-bodied guys I used to find on Craigslist back in the day, and even a decent one more recently on RM I paid only those prices you don’t see anymore.

As a native Brooklynite, we don't consider people who moved here to live in Manhattan to be actual New Yorkers.
