I was quoted $450/hour and $1,500 for an overnight with a hot young porn star. Communications have been delightful and he’s as kinky as I am. Obviously, I decided on a 12 hour overnight. What an odd fee schedule!

Some providers will price their overnight rate at a much more financially beneficial rate compared to their hourly rates because they actual prefer longer sessions.

I've meet a few providers (porn actors and non-porn actors alike) who set their rates in this manner. I always go for the overnights or longer. 😛

I would only do an overnight for someone with a performance track record with me personally - usually an hourly audition first.

Basic eco on AA... You pay for luggage as well as seat assignments.

Endpoint:  It adds up to a lot more than $552.

I have a lets avoid economy rule on flights greater than 8 hours  These days, premium economy is not to badly priced.  Depends where you are going.

And that includes almost all flights from Australia, and the last time I took one of those shorter flights (across the Ditch), I ignored the 'eight hours' part and applied the rule anyway.

In general, I would agree with you. However, if someone I want to see (who doesn’t visit my area regularly or at all) has a reasonable overnight rate, I’m bringing them in for an overnight. Honestly, in all my years of hiring, except for 3 guys, this has worked out for me.

If I’m able to meet with a provider for an hour or 2 before I commit to longer… I will try. It’s just not always feasible.

Interesting in that i don't find that odd at all, lol.

I assume that these gentlemen will establish their base opening 1st hour fee amount to determine how real a "new client" will be. So to me they're basically saying they'll "visit" for an hour at that base fee. But then if you're willing to spend $1,500 for an overnight and they feel you're safe and secure and otherwise a good client why bother trying to piece together the hassle of trying to schedule and travel around to 3 different clients hoping and risking others don't end up flaking?

It’s the first time I’ve encountered this fee program, but now it makes sense. I’m certainly looking forward to it.

Don't know what the regular rate is in San Francisco. If it's 250-300 in NYC, I can see it being 300-400 in San Francisco. The rent and cost of living certainly would require a higher rate. Plenty of tech money over there. If he can pull off 500 for an hour, then good for him. Time will tell. The website is nice, the grandiosity not so much unless that's your thing.

Funny as Americans have gotten bigger (waist-wise) how economy seats have gotten smaller. (or not funny if you're the fat guy trying to squeeze in.)

Somebody once described jumbo jets as the most uncomfortable form of transport since slave ships, except at least the slaves didn’t have to pay.

My limit is about 3 hrs.  I live in Las Vegas.  I'll only travel economy if my destination is within the U.S. and west of the Mississippi River.

I imagine that with inflation everywhere else, why should this industry be any different?

The fact that middle class gay men can even afford this is beyond me... especially if those men have kids (or husbands lol).

To me, $450/hour is quite a bit.  I consider myself a middle class gay man, and I could actually afford $450 an hour.  However, with so many other great providers in the area at more reasonable prices, I would have to give them a hard pass.

Same. For an hour, I think anywhere from $250-$350 is reasonable because I'm in NYC. One of our favorite guys, who's in his 40s, charges $275 I think. And most of our times with him are better than anyone in their 20s.

I have gotten the hint that $300 is the new normal.

$300 has been the going rate since at least 2020 (possibly pre-pandemic even). What I am wondering though is whether the crazy inflation we're seeing has hit the escort market as well. It's been a while since I hired and so can't say myself.

I’ve decided that if an escort gives me a price that is something I won’t pay, I’m up front and say that. I also see no problem in mentioning I’ve had guys take less for the same amount of time. Politely. (I’ve had guys tell me they’re quoting me the “going rate,” so I see no difference in saying I have experience at my rate too). If he wants to negotiate, I’m initially open. If it turns into haggling, I’m done. It will cloud the time together for us both. He’ll be resentful and I’ll be wondering if he’s resentful.

Manhattan and SF have very similar costs of living and have for like 20 years. I have zero idea what you even mean.

NYC has 5 burroughs of which Manhattan has the highest cost of living. The poster said NYC, not Manhattan. Not all NYC escorts live in Manhattan.

In fact most don't. Brooklyn, spefecially Billyburg, Bedsty and Bushwick are now de riguer.   Because of this I actually like doing appoints before I fly out of JFK, assuming the provider can host. schedule permitting . Works great if you have an overnight / red eye - trust me, you'll fall right asleep afterwards !!!

Pre departure beverage? I'll take a Pre departure cock thanks, and shove it  !!!

Otherwise Its an hour trek on the subway for me from the city. ( I'm too cheap for a Uber sometimes).

Having them come to my place in the city is often weird for various reasons.

He’s not someone I’d consider hiring for $300, though. Jedem Tierchen sein Pläsierchen.

The Gladys Kravitz in me wants to know how many $500+/hr guys are actually getting that rate and how often.  I would think very few, but perhaps I'm a bit out of touch.
