I'm inclined to agree with @Saabster. While I will send a deposit of no more than $50, the aggressive language is a turn-off. Yeah, we're looking at a provider right now and his profile says he's straight. However, in researching him he seems INCREDIBLY gay. I was recently burned by a provider that I sent a deposit to but it hasn't turned me off to the practice. I wouldn't send $250. I'm cackling at the idea that both some clients and providers - who are MEN - are too precious for there to be body hair. Most men have a decent amount of body hair. Yes, starting on top is the best approach. You can face him so you can see him, and you can take it at your own pace. Let's not use the word "junkie." I've known many good people who ended up with substance abuse issues. The current thinking is that addiction is caused not by the substance but by the social and psychological circumstances of the user. That's why people who are healthy, well-adusted, and have strong social ties can have surgery, use oxycontin for a few days or weeks, and then never think about it again. However, if you have unaddressed trauma, low social ties, extreme stress and other factors, you can become dependent. Johan Hari's book "Chasing the Scream" is an incredible historical look at addiction. The short version is criminalization makes everything worse.
