This is just low-key racism that sees white providers who embody some "All-American" A&F jock as the ideal archetype. Meanwhile, since politics are banned from discussion, I'll just say that the A&F guys were trafficking young men for two decades. Perhaps we should question why we desire a specific ideal foisted upon us by advertising, Hollywood, etc.

The problem underlying all of this is inflation, which has increased 25 percent since 2021. So, guys who raised their rates from $300 to $350-$400 over the past couple of years are adjusting for inflation. And the inflation we've had has impacted housing and food the most. And inflation is hitting big cities, making them more expensive to live in and visit. And since inflation is affecting all of us, our purchasing power is lessened. So the guys raising their rates in response to inflation are dealing with clients who feel like our money isn't going as far as it used to. It's a regrettable situation but it's not necessarily greed.

We're here now and having a great time. We're staying at Rivera Del Rio, which is not near the beach, but no issues with visitors.

I couldn't agree with this more. My husband and I are both attractive, fit, and in shape. We largely hire for convenience, given busy, competing schedules and the fact that we don't really go to bars and clubs at this point. And the apps are a huge waste of time. And the providers who become our regulars are usually less perfect 10s and more like 7s who have the qualities @Jamie21 cited.

The community framing a certain group of men, primarily based on how conventionally attractive they are, as "sex gods" is crazy behavior. We're all just people. I've known supposed "10s" whose personalities make them troglodytes and "3s" whose personalities and sense of humor make them super attractive.

I don't have time to review your posts and provide a detailed assessment but it's 1,000% true.

But your comments are often unnecessarily unkind, shaming of providers bodies and so on. People can share their experiences and ask questions without calling the provider fat, ugly, or old. I don't find most of the guys you fawn over attractive so I keep it to myself.

The comments create an atmosphere of nasty bitterness. It's not just providers who have tattoos or nose rings or are feminine, fat or thin. Clients also present a wide range and are, very likely, less conventionally attractive than providers. What offends my sensibilities is that it assumes all clients are shallow, abs-obsessed, judgmental A-holes. We saw a provider over the weekend. On paper, he's "too short" for me. He also lacks abs but is otherwise attractive and quite fit. We initially saw him with another provider who had recommended him. The other provider (B) is more conventionally attractive than the one we fired this weekend (A). But, we ended up hiring provider (A) solo this weekend because it fits Dan Savages three Gs of a good sex partner: Good, Giving, and Game. Meanwhile, Provider B was decent in terms of sexual technique but not particularly giving or game.

And we all know who they are. My question is, why do the moderators tolerate this behavior?

There are probably two things happening here. First, RentMasseur used to have an "Erotic" option in addition to "Sensual." That made it easier to distinguish. Second, maybe some providers are worried about being seen as escorts - not by clients - but by law enforcement.
