Also, MasseurFinder is among the most expensive ad platforms around. The only way to be in one of the top slots is to pay an outrageous sum every month. You can follow all the rules and be the most up-to-date, etc and still fall in the middle of the pack (at best). I pay $105/mo for bronze based on rates a few years ago, but they keep jacking everything up. It’s crazy:

Thanks for sharing this insight @Shawn Monroe. Agree, MasseurFinder is very restrictive and they ding your placement if you don’t follow all their criteria. One of those criteria is using all of the features, like offering a day of the week discount.
I advertise weekly specials, but stopped advertising ongoing day of the week discounts because MF will only allow you to frame it as a flat % rather than a dollar value. Since my longer sessions are already discounted, it would be a disservice to myself to offer another discount on top of that. Besides, the day of the week discount wasn’t bringing me much extra business anyway.

There have actually been posts IN HERE - from providers and clients - about charlotte. So this sentiment is definitely shared. 

To me, the best thing to address that is the "Available Now" button/setting in the websites. That can give me as a client a clue of who can be available sooner. Of course, that means available, not necessarily ready.

It's overblown and basically just a media talking point.  No change from the normal.

I've been asked several times by potential clients to meet me and chat about my escort services.   I generally don't charge so long as it is local and if the proposed client wants to buy a drink or lunch,  I'm totally open.    From those I have had,  almost all have been successful and all but one have booked me after.    The one that didn't was in town on business and hasn't been back as of yet.  We'll see.

The only thing limiting you is your own creativity! I like to encourage clients to imagine what they would want for longer sessions. Massage, working out together, playing video games, shopping, meals, Jamie’s bathhouse idea…the possibilities are endless. Then of course there’s always the simple cuddle and conversation approach, which is always nice.
Clients vary in their sexual and non-sexual needs and desires. What works for one client in an hour may work better for you in two. You might enjoy quick (and perhaps multiple) rounds, or going for a long stretch at a time with a lot of buildup, and perhaps some breaks, or alternating back and forth between activities. Some clients really like extended edging, for example, which takes a considerable amount of session time.

It's surely all those things affecting your business in NYC this month.  The locals (well, the ones with money) are coming back from their summer beach/country life and readjusting to city life (work ramping up, getting kids back to school, etc.) and dealing with the Jewish holidays.  Remember Jews make up 1 in 5 New Yorkers -- and probably 50% of the professional class -- which means we Gentiles are busy because half of our colleagues are missing.  Also, business travel, conferences and trade shows in NYC are scheduled away from those holidays and the NYC shitshow that is the UN General Assembly.  The economy is certainly having an impact, but October should be a better measure of your business.

I get hired sometimes for that. In the sense that it involves being with the client with no expectation that sex will happen. It usually is simply spending time with them. We’ll probably be naked, we’ll do some massage, we’ll eat, chat, just cuddle. It’s important to them that there’s no explicit agenda. So much of people’s time these days is scheduled and structured I think the opportunity to just chill with someone who is like minded is welcome.

Granted not all of us look like Vin and won’t always get flown out, but I know I’ll cancel a trip if I don’t have at least 3 confirmed appointments. That way I’m only out a night hotel stay at most. 
 
- work in cities where you can slightly stand out. As a black male from Texas, I don’t do well in Houston and San Antonio, and do great in austin and dallas.

Two things are happening. 
1) school is back in session. Your teachers (or people with kids) have less time to hire. Their weekends may be strained too. 
 
2) inflation and economic uncertainty. With inflation being high, people are starting to pull back on luxury services - do I really need to see that provider?
Usually I say things slow down in the summer and pick up in fall before the holidays, but there’s a general uncertainty about EVERYTHING in the economy right now. No one knows if rates will continue to rise, or if the fed will drop them. No one knows if we are headed towards a recession. No one knows if mass layoffs will happen. No one knows anything and they’re holding on to their money right now.

Living here I am not surprised. With ubiquitous strip club options I would estimate having had max 3 ad-based appointments with providers weighed against dozens (likely approaching 100 or more) of private on-site club interaction, to climax, over the past decade. And those very few non-club arrangements were associated with solid recommendations. 
Most recent private dance hook-up sub-90USD and intensely satisfying. He just had to be pried away from a customer talking him up for a good chunk of time, with perhaps a high-yield basis such as being a known regular or making arrangements for a lucrative off-site date. Can’t blame the cock-blocker. What a doll. Ideally, a drink and chat would precede the back room. 
And many more club visits on top of that for face-to-face scanning and vetting, as it is also a viable social outlet for older gay men.
There have been a few top-notch one-time weekend strip club performer visitors over the years that could make good bank if here more permanently. I myself would certainly have repeated. 
You could consider a transient strip club gig, likely requiring some kind of stage audition (non-sexual), eg, with the Campus DJ Gerry (Jerry?), as short-term talent even for a few weekend nights is generally welcome. Because they tend to be busy in privates and Campus keeps the stage occupied with the roster cycle the more the roster the merrier. 
Most ad providers would ordinarily not consider private dance customer expectations beyond the scope of comfort. You could fit ad-based trysts into afternoon and early evening. Several local dancers do both. You would not be hassled by club management using your phone pretty much at your leisure.

I think it’s very unusual. Most guys I know handle all their client interactions. It’s just not practical to have someone ‘in the middle’. All my interactions with clients are done by me but where I do employ a manager is for social media.
I have someone handle my filming schedule, edit the films, post my content on fans sites and deal with all the admin associated with that. He also schedules some collaborations. However I do all the communications with those who follow me.
There’s just too much work associated with doing filming for social media to handle it all alone.
