Blocking escorts

An escort I’ve hired a few times tends to text me out of the blue even though I’ve told him to only text or call if I do so first. I recently blocked his number and was wondering what happens if he texts me. Does he get some sort of alert that I blocked his number, or does nothing happen and he thinks I’m just ignoring his text. I’ve never had anyone block me (at least I don’t think I have), so I wasn’t sure what the experience is.

He won't know... if you both have iPhones, if he tries to text you he won't get  a "delivered" notification. His calls won't come through but he'll be able to leave voice messages that will be automatically stored in"blocked"voicemails provided you have an iPhone 📱 Ask me how I know 😜

I'm literally shocked that any escort would randomly text despite clear texting limitations.  Privacy is paramount for an escort's clients.  Both parties have the right to express clear boundaries.  And both parties' boundaries should be respected.

Honestly I think he just forgets - I don’t think it’s intentional. He’s kind of dizzy which I find attractive, lol. But I can’t risk him doing it again so I’ll just have to play the block/unblock game until the next time I want to see him.

You could use RentMen Messenger or maybe an email that you sign into to contact escorts. Or one of the messenger apps besides the native messaging app. You might control the alerts on any if those options better than traditional texting.

Just be careful because: I’ve found on two occasions clients have blocked me (one did it because he was being a flake and I told him off, and the other was a regular client who was likely married and would do the block/unblock thing).

Well guy A had pulled a fast one by emailing me on RentMasseur. We met and everything after he sent a deposit. I had no idea it was the same guy I told off previously. Well a few months later he hits me up again on a hookup app (I’m sure we know where that’s going). No response all day, and I’m only in town for 1 night. He then texts me in the evening just as I’m about to start driving to the next city because I waited around for him all afternoon and didn’t hear nothing back until then. I text him back, but messages are in green (instead of blue which means delivered on iPhone). Partly why I stopped using Google voice for my ad phone and switched to iPhone. 

So I’m like, he must have forgotten to  unblock me 🤔 Needless to say, his game is over with after what I told him last time 😂 Which kinda sucks because the time we did meet, was a great time. But it was more than a time or 2 that he’s left me hanging or switched up last minute. 
 

Better to just be transparent with people, because he might ask “did you get that message I sent about my Black Friday sale??” And if you say no, he’ll know you blocked him and might feel slighted.

💯 it's crazy how often that happens! I've never blocked another escort but I make it perfectly clear that I'm not on holiday and I'm visiting said city with a very specific aim and that they too should stay "focused"

Eh, meh…that’s a tough one. But I get it.

Sometimes I appreciate another escort reaching out to me, long as it’s not overtly sexual. One guy in St. Louis we’ve hung out. And in my earlier days I would occasionally reach out to others for references or verification on if a city was good to travel to (haphazard I know but, this way long time ago). There’s one advertiser, cute guy but who’s wanted to hookup with me in like 3-4 different cities, but it’s like: “come over and let’s fuck”. 

 

However, unless it’s someone from the forum…lately I don’t really mix with other advertisers as much. I can’t help but cringe when I’m hanging with someone and they’re like, “I have a client/with a client”. In my head I just be like:

 

You can be around me all day long and not know I’m texting or making plans to meet a client.

I’m with you there. This happens from time to time. I’m direct about my purpose for being on whatever platform, which excludes personal hookups. I only block if they don’t respect my boundaries.

I admit I occasionally reach out to others, but never for hookups. Either:

1) to ask about a client they’ve seen who also now wants to see me, mostly just to verify for safety reasons, not to get details or information about the client. I don’t have time for that and can’t expect another guy to do that either, but a quick confirmation that the client is safe to see is a great way to look out for one another.

2) propose a collaboration for work.

I work with others, both for massage and for escorting. Sometimes a client wants more than one guy and I like to have a variety of contacts at the ready to meet various client needs.

The way I see it, I’m getting work I otherwise would have to turn down, plus I’m providing value to the client using my network…and providing value to the other escort by bringing him more work…and providing value to myself by leveraging other escort networks if/when they have a client need that includes me. Tbh I bring way more work to other guys than they bring to me, but that’s how networking works. Once in a while a contact reciprocates and a good mutually beneficial work relationship flourishes.
