The thrill of watching an enormous, years-in-advance and detailed scientific prediction come true before our very eyes, thousands of people at a time.
I saw the Corona eclipse last October in Albuquerque. That will have to hold me.

When you look like that, what’s a little fakey reiki between friends?

I see it as a way for a provider to attract bookings on what they find is consistently a slow day (or time) for them. It’s not something that makes a difference to me as a client.

I keep it very low-key and professional.

I went to college, got a degree and lived at home every summer while working. When the opportunity came to leave Ohio for LA, I took it.
Universally, I think learning a trade, a craft, or something after high school makes one more employable. Getting out of your small environment (childhood home, small community) is important for becoming your own adult. IMO.

I’m a fan of Simone Young, and thrilled for her success with it! I heard it performed live by the LA Philharmonic (EPS conducting) before they relocated from the Chandler to Disney Hall. Thrilling.
Thanks for the reminder to dig out my CD (Ozawa/BSO, Norman, McCracken, Troyanos)

The music was surprisingly approachable. As Marc in Cali has pointed out it was before Schoenberg embraced atonality. Simone Young in a promotional video said if you like Mahler you will like Gurrelieder.
I should add the 2 performances in the 2700 seat Concert Hall were completely sold out and the spontaneous standing ovation at the end said it all.

A college degree? Maybe not worth it.
Some sort of education after high school?  A good idea.
Getting out of your parents’ house (and a small town) at 19? Essential.

Trust your gut. Already starting off with ifs and buts, is not a good sign in my opinion. I would just move on.

jeezifonly reacted to Jamie21 in What does Erotic Massage Include
Yes this is highly regulated. The Association for Sexwork Knowledge (ASK) has a pamphlet that stipulates the exact content of an erotic massage.
The pamphlet describes that all erotic massages must include at least 3 touches of the client’s genitals (and the final or 3rd touch has to keep hold until the client climaxes or the time runs out). A minimum of one nipple must be tweaked and at least one ball gently cupped or caressed. If the client has a non standard number of nipples or balls the masseur has to ensure that 50% of the total ball / nipples available have to be touched.
Clients with a preference for bum work should indicate this either verbally or by parting their legs wider than table width. If the client does this then the pamphlet requires that the masseur insert a lubed finger (spit acceptable if no lube is available) past the first knuckle.
The pamphlet is called Hire for Intimate Massage. In short it’s the ASK HIM document 😉

I used to enjoy the suspense.
Now I have enough money to buy a really good massage from either local business (Burke Williams always delivers excellent bodywork) or a listed provider. If I know I went erotic play, I’ll book a good masseur who also escorts, and arrive prepared to pay for the latter. The one advantage of being a little older and more solvent when it’s unlikely I would get hookup interest at a bar or on the apps…

Jizz in a Kleenex doesn’t turn into a consumer of goods and services to create more profits. Prime directive is to make (white) babies.

    This App needs counterparts.
i would need accountability partners for cooking vids on YT.
Most of my female friends would need accountability partners for murder shows.

I strive for this - when I find someone I like, I stick with them.  Unfortunately they all seem to retire.  I've wondered in my darker moments if I am the common point in all these great guys retiring.

In my long hiring career (30+ years, now interrupted, but that’s a different story), I had what I called  “anchor escort(s)”, that is long-term regular(s) that I hired frequently even if I occasionally tasted other waters. I found it very reassuring to come back to familiar mouths, dicks and asses between adventures. More than just regulars, they were my comfort zone.

It's neither invasive nor inherently crass to ask about price discrepancies. Any business, and especially any business thst doesn't have listed rates in black and white, should be prepared to and able to explain price discrepancies.

In some massage ads we see
“Discount for students, military, dancers, and athletes”
I see it as much the same message, and I move on.

Pricing for personal services is the most imprecise art. No two services are actually identical to  one another, because of chemistry. ⚛️ ❤️
