  1. Perfect for patting and blowing kisses 😘 …unless I warm up with a Hankey or two.
  2. A singular highlight of the series is the uber-credible “gay and his gal” friendship between Dom and Doris, portrayed by Murray Bartlett (White Lotus) and Lauren Weedman (Hacks).
  3. It’s a big sing, and she’s likely up to it. But I don’t think the role is a Tony-maker. I’m still all-in on the original from ‘84, and love Kuhn’s Someone Else’s Story, though. It always strikes me as a musical that, on stage, needs a break g budget and an edgy Wunderkind HochKonzept Opera Director (Barrie Kosky?)
  4. It’s inherent pigmentation, like your genitals, lips and nips - not “discoloration” But whatever gets you swiped, I guess.
  5. If I’m paying you $1000/hr, you’re defending me in Federal Court on Murder One.
  6. I would ask him if he makes an effort to constantly keep breathing. We sometimes forget when engaging in that full-body tension that gets wound up inside just prior to release. And the disruption in O2 can trigger unpleasantness in the heart, head, or gut after a certain age.
  7. I think of HACKS as a hybrid relationship story - Age-gap Comedy, Workplace Power-struggle, and Fraternal Romance. I applaud the way the creators and cast flesh out all three. I think it needs one more season.
  8. I imagine that with Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie, the appeal to men is more about an innocent nostalgia with a pretty blond lady doing hijinks with good intentions. The camp and handsome leading men mean nothing. (Not to completely overlook Dr. Bellows…y’know)
  9. Chemistry. It sometimes just happens without intent or purpose, and when the gorgeously satisfying reaction has run its course, we feel the absence of it. Recreating it is always a crap shoot, because we have no control over what changes may have happened to the key elements in the interim. Can “chemistry” be bought? If so, can we tell the difference between the modified and the natural in what satisfaction is yielded?
  10. I worked on a play with him just before his streaming exposure began. Got the opening night pre-show hug from him in his whiteys. He’s a truly lovely human whose talents keep astonishing me. Wish I could make it to NY to see this show!
  11. The business model of collabs on camera with other hot guys has altered the flow of new service-oriented talent entering a personal •service• industry. This has likely changed client experience expectations as well. But no one wins when either client or provider is treated with disrespect. Be a human, and be nice to other humans in the hiring space.
  12. A new customer of any small business will find the owner going out of their way to please by offering the most detailed and thorough service. At first.
  13. Data Shmayta Either there’s one who’s worth it within reach when you want it, or there ain’t. 🍸
  14. Every single closet that has hidden men’s desires is unique. Some weren’t useful and were abandoned or converted into something else before really being used. Others accumulate fractured memories, regrets, hopes and dust over decades and still feel like home. Mine was useful and able to be well aired out before I was 30.
  15. Clients will be thrown out and banned, BodyWorkers fired immediately. Your jollies are not worth that. It is a strictly legitimate treatment spa.
  16. I was too young and single to really appreciate the original. Re Netflix series, I thought the writing and casting were spot on. It’s still a very simple character study, not really a linear story, and I think younger audiences find that kind of dramedy boring without violence and sex.
  17. I’m experiencing a temporary 🤞🏼post-surgical lag. Still seeing tons of my fave kinds of guys in the feeds, etc, but not even interested in touching myself…
  18. One wonders if potential buyers leave a viewing thinking, “Let’s keep looking… the location is perfect, but something about the place felt, I dunno…funny”
  19. This particular service industry aligns with a generation’s distaste for providing service. If not working as the sort of provider discussed here, the same men would be shitty waiters, shitty healthcare workers, shitty sales clerks. It’s all learned behavior, from a lifetime of hearing that they are special no matter what. Part of why my hiring age-range never dips below 40.
  20. Efficient use of The Board’s time is duly noted. There is always a honeymoon period for a new CEO, but with the org’s income down, and the brand taking biggest financial me-too impact, market-wide, over decades, plus consumer interest in the product at an all-time low, any rebound from the summer’s New Face Roll-out will mean more than ever. Go Bears. And also with you.
  21. Recovering currently (1 wk) from left TKR - right knee to follow in the next 12-14mo. both were bone-on-bone. Excellent surgeon, a celeb of the art, I was his 4th surgery that day - strong follow up care, good home PT over next month to be followed by outpatient treatment as long as it takes. Surprising pain from bad bruising in upper thigh where tourniquet is used during procedure - may have to extend pain med a week. The second knee will be minus that surprise, and I already know I won’t regret anything (aside from not sneaking in one last massage before the surgery…) I do not have a clue how anyone can recover if living alone, I’m lucky to have the Huzz.
  22. The provider agrees to pretend to find me attractive during the duration of our appointment, and if we’re already at that outrageous level of pretense, I see nothing to be gained from the unnecessary introduction of reality into the transaction.
  23. It’s certainly what one 50 year old looks like. When he has great genetic material. And money to make the most of it. And a career that demands it.
  24. If I were to approach this arrangement seriously, a 3-4wk vacation together would have to be successful twice before signing papers. Expose those flaws that remain out of sight as a sole home occupant. Change is hard at our age, and the life experience we’d be bringing in has fraternal compatibility as friends, but when living together 24/7, being blind to unacceptable behavior might lay traps down the road. Thank you for bein’ a friend.
