It's a small world. All of us see people from realms in our past out and about. In a case of seeing a provider, leave them be UNLESS they engage first. Their obligation to you is over until you see them "on the clock" again, so be respectful of their "off the clock" time.
Last year I had an embarrassing instance of seeing someone I used to work with in a neighboring grocery line. I said to the person I was with that if I fast-forwarded in time 20 years from now, that lady over there presently looks like one of my former co-workers. She unfortunately overheard me and angrily said a brief hello. She had aged that badly in such a short time frame, and I wished I kept my comment to myself!

In 2024, are 5's the new 1's, or is tipping a couple of singles outlandish? I may be stuck in the 80s, but I still tip a buck per bed per night of a hotel stay.

I never ask for discounts.  If someone's not in my budget, I move on.  I have a high level of respect for providers.  Ones that do a quality massage and offer play work their asses off.  Part of the reason I like to spend some of the session doing something nice for them if we click and it goes that way.

On Rent Men, there to my surprise are 27+ pages of circumcised Latinos. I tend to erroneously act as if none are, when clearly that is a grave misconception on my part. 
However, I found it interesting that not even 2 of those 27 pages of the providers are strict bottoms, and trying to find one within the U.S. narrows that search down even further. Not a single one of them is older, but as has been pointed out in discussions on other subjects, the interest in hiring and older bottom in general is nearly non-existent. 

I work hard to retain my clients. I learn what they like and lean into it. I find my long term client appointments keep getting better and better, both for massage and ‘more’. Some of them transition from the former to the latter, or some combination. The relationship and quality of interaction tends to build up over time rather than erode. I value my clients.
Anyone that felt I shorted them on time I would like to hear directly about it so that I can make it right. I go the whole time, and often a little over. If your guy gaslights or dismisses you when you bring up the time shorting issue, it’s time to move on. This is an expensive service. You’re paying a premium. You deserve quality service for the whole time you booked. Period.
Repeat business is the best and easiest business. It pays to be diligent in providing the full time (quantity) but also quality time matters. Guys that don’t understand this concept baffle me! 
^This is only true if we were paid like a full time employees billing something like 2080 hours per year. Our profession doesn’t work that way. Our booked (and therefore compensated) hours represent a fraction of full time, perhaps 20-30 hours per week. It’s possible, but unusual for a masseur to be booked more than 40 hours per week. At a bare minimum, I have 30 min gaps between back-to-back clients and that prevents me from booking 40+ hours per week, even when every day is 100% booked in a given week.
For some of us with other jobs, we may only book 10-15 hours a week. You better believe we spend 10-20 hours (or more) per week on all the UNPAID (yet necessary) parts of the job like responding to endless inquiries at all hours of the day/night, many of which never lead to a completed appointment. Marketing, client follow up, cleaning, laundry, shopping, continuing education, prep work, personal care, gym (if you count that), client development, outcall transportation to/from clients (including traffic and being early to always arrive on time), equipment setup/takedown, restocking supplies, clients flaking last minute or no-shows, etc…. all take gobs of time.
We are compensated a high rate for the time clients actually book and show up for, NOT for all the other work we do. So cut that $300,000+ “salary” down accordingly. The rates you pay us factor all that extra work in. Some weeks or months are slow. Some days we have no work because of bad weather and clients flake. Other times we travel and have back to back work all day. It varies.

It is up to the people making the initial offer, and nobody else, to determine in their mind what good looking and in shape is. It's not going to be the same from person to person, so it's best as a client to expect to donate as if you're not, and perhaps be pleasantly surprised at the end.
Many work like Hell to look great from the neck down, and kudos to them. There's others that look dashing as all get out and never lift a weight in their life. Ideally, neither would qualify for this offer. I personally pity the ones who are both handsome and ripped, but are disqualified solely due to age.

when these occassional (oops, I meant 'occasional'....no, really!) dramafests break out in a thread, it's fun to go back and trace the origins of when things first went helter-skelter........occassionally (damn, 'occasionally'), it's very easy to figure it out........others join in, too, at times and the 'tone' of those posts is obvious, even on a computer......
 

Consistently, whenever someone I hire who I have a great time with reaches out on a return trip to my area and I say no, I'm put on the "no re-hire" list.
This to me seems extreme. I'm not made of money, so when a return is a month later, it's too soon for me to financially do so. It doesn't mean that I don't want to. 
I do appreciate that I was liked enough to warrant a repeat encounter, and I DO convey that in my rejection reply. Am I better off ignoring rather than responding that I can't?
I'm batting zero with re-attempting to see anyone who I said no to for a potential second encounter. Flipping the coin and responding to my own post, who would I rather spend time with, a wealthy man who tips extremely generously and money is no object and will see me any time I reach out, or a paycheck to paycheck person who leaves a standard gratuity?

Generally, the ones I see passing through town are in high demand, which is what brings them back. I'm making the presumption I'm not in consideration on their end when my request by either massage website private message or e-mail goes ignored. 
I appreciate the ones that spell it out - "don't try to contact me here - I don't respond to private messages", and take their advice to not do so. It's more and more dwindling meeting people without texting, and that's my issue to accept. After all, there were staunch radio holdouts who didn't want TV in the 50s!

Yes, the devil may be in the details.  For example, there's a world of difference between:
"I am glad you liked me enough to reach out to me again, but I won't be hiring you."
and
"I really enjoyed our time together, but I'm not in a position to hire you during this visit."
Unless we're dealing with an extremely thin skinned escort, I don't see why the latter response would cause them to refuse a future booking.  The former comes across as a hard dismissal, so if the response is similar to that I'm not surprised that an escort would put the client in the "don't waste my time" category.
 

Which massage sites do you refer to? Because I know on RentMasseur, one can disable email messages accordingly. And of course it’s definitely not 1999 lol, however email is still the shit: in the form of instant messaging. Now THAT was the shit I remember lol. 
 
I can do RentMasseur emails, but not so much RentM instant messages. I always try to send at least 1 reply even after my auto message goes out: just to let them know I’m real. But not many seem to transition to phone. I won’t use messenger solely to book an appointment. 
 
I rarely ever take unexpected phone calls from my ads anymore. Too many times, I’ve been sucked into chatting with someone or asked explicit questions when it was off timing. So even though people may have preference to call, it doesn’t suit everyone.

Up-selling but then not delivering is awful. I asked the guy when he was done why on Earth I had to give 50 more when the texted amount was agreed to. He said that the higher rate was for MY nudity, not his. 
Cancelling on me at the last minute to me is worse than no-showing my appointment, which of course is also terrible. 
Honestly it isn't possible for a masseur to be too talkative with me - I don't let them get a word in edgewise. 😆

What I got a kick out of when this story broke is "Ohtani is not available for comment". His interpreter is gone. We know!

It's unclear whether you're referring to messages publicly, like this is, a private message on here, or messages between you and an attempted encounter. 
One comment I see occasionally that couldn't be less helpful is "I met the guy on Grindr. I don't need to worry about donations." Gee, thanks.
