+ DrownedBoy Posted Monday at 09:32 PM Posted Monday at 09:32 PM I saw an instance where the "creepy old gay guy" moved in across the street from the kid's (age 20s) family house. They started dating and he moved across the street to live with him. His parents were happy for him. I love it when people just assume the world works a certain way when they have no personal baseline experience. Or that people are as close minded as they are. MikeBiDude, Johnrom and spidir 2 1

You are always looking under every rock in search of something to be indignant about. My advice stands. @KensingtonHomo seems to be oblivious to the risks of neighborhood social blunders if this goes sideways. You know, some of us do not give a shit about what the neighbors think. I do not condone being flagrantly creepy and disrespectful, but really, if the neighbors are that sensitive, figuratively fuck them and actually fuck the son. I don't see an ad that matches what was described, either. Quite honestly I didn't read the entirety of the original post because it read more to me like erotic fiction than reality. I'm open to being wrong about that, but the lack of an ad that matches what was described does raise my skepticism even higher. For the record, I don't think it's necessarily "internalized homophobia" that would cause some people to think it would be best not to pursue a man under these circumstances. I wouldn't do it, and not because I'm ashamed of being gay. It just sounds socially awkward. josh282282, You_Can_Turn_Over, + Vegas_Millennial and 2 others 5

Ali Gator Posted Tuesday at 12:13 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:13 AM Wow- away from here most of the day and this explodes! 1. Please stop fighting with each other - I'm posting here for some advice, not to start a war among members. 2. No, I'm not 'very friendly' with his parents by any stretch of the imagination, nor with any of my neighbors, for that matter (my big city neighborhood has had a lot of turn-over in the past few years or so as real estate prices continue to skyrocket. It's not uncommon for someone to buy a house here, and turn around and sell it within a year and make a hefty profit on it. It's gotten ridiculous). If we happen to cross paths outside (getting into our cars in the morning to leave for work, for example) there's a friendly exchange of 'Good Morning'. If I'm walking my dog outside and they happen to be outside, there's a friendly exchange of 'Hello' and occasionally we will stretch it out to 'how's everything going this summer?' or I will ask about their sons. As I said earlier, both sons have always been very nice and polite, and I am interested in how they're doing away from home in Florida. The other neighbors I have no contact with at all - they make no attempt to socialize with anyone, always staring at their phones when outside. 3. I'm not in a 'small town' nor a very social neighborhood (as explained above). From what I gather, no one is here to set roots, everyone seems to be buying here to make a quick and profitable ROI and move on. Everyone around here seems to concentrate in their own world, they're not looking into anyone else's life. A gunshot could go off twenty feet away from them, and they wouldn't bother to turn away from their phone to look. It's the world we live in, I guess. So no - no one would be paying attention to him coming over to my house, and if they did, they certainly wouldn't care if he was painting my bathroom or having fun with me. As for his parents, I would try to arrange something when he knew they weren't at home. I work remotely some days during the week, so its possible to arrange something. 4. Most importantly -if I wanted to share his RM ad and let everyone know who he is, I would've done that in the OP. However, I'm not stupid - I'm not going to link to his RM ad here after sharing so much background info and personal info on him and myself. Why would I take a chance on a public forum with people I don't know? So I can run the risk of one or more of you contacting him and let him know his neighbor posted all about him, his private life and possibly link him to this thread? I'd have to be insane to share that. Also, I used a faux name on him, and knowing a bunch of you would try scoping him out on your own, and I went one extra step and put in 'Boston' instead of the real city he's listing in. I'm glad I did because some of you didn't disappoint - you went ahead and tried to find him, as expected. Sorry, not taking any risks on this one. If you 'don't believe' or 'skeptical' of the situation without proof of the ad, so be it. I'm fine with that (and really don't care). I'm not fine with running the risk which could hurt or embarrass me in the end. 5. Finally, I did text him early this afternoon about picking a day to detail my car, but I haven't heard anything back as of yet. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow afternoon, I will try once more. If still nothing, I will wait to see if he gets back to me. @LookingAround a special 'thank you' to you for keeping tabs on my online activity. jackcali, + DrownedBoy, + azdr0710 and 5 others 6 1 1

JTtorretto Posted Tuesday at 10:28 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:28 AM (edited) Just read myself every single post you've made discussing escorts [and copy/pasted all ur content into Chat GPT] According to what I & Chat GPT found, you have a specific fetish for “college guys” & particularly using the word “college” in all of your “fan fiction posts” such as this load of crap post. also, another example & what a coincidence, the “hunky, illegal immigrant gardener” ALSO hinted at selling his body to you, literally 2 weeks ago! Isnt that something ?! What are the odds of two hotties in ur “suburban hood” offering you hints of sexual pleasure at your place?! Its like you live in a state of either total delusion or your’e a pathological liar thats taking everyone for a FOOL as example: and lives in my neighborhood). He mentioned a few times he is married and has a son in college. However, the other day he was telling me that in the winter he's available for hire to help with 'anything I need help with' and winks. Hmm. I said, 'anything' ? And he smiled and said 'I said anything'. I told him I could come up with a few things and he smiled. I'm wondering if we're on the same page OR if there's a big language barrier. 😂 additionally, there is NOT a single dude in all of New England who even could fit the age range, “newer profile” etc =specifics that you stated unless hes actually black, “late 30’s” & heavy set and even then = would not be from Florida or another state You are not even a decent story teller as it all sounds so make-believe and phony Edited Tuesday at 10:30 AM by JTtorretto LookingAround, + Vegas_Millennial, pubic_assistance and 3 others 2 3 1

That's one of the major problems in my area, if not most nice areas across the country - there is no 'affordable' housing for younger middle-class families to buy and settle in. It's mostly wealthy buyers grabbing what they can and cashing out while the market is still hot. Home rentals have been out of control for years as well as apartments (at least since the pandemic). It's gotten ridiculous - but that's another conversation for another thread.
