Just  a reminder that "escorting" is a business enterprise with these boys, and, thereby the old dictum, "time is money" applies. An escort of my acquaintance is making complaint to me that, after two hires, a client to whom I recommended him is now contacting him with some persistence  to let him know that he is "around" but not committing to a hire; in consideration of our  cordial acquaintance, he doesn't want to bluntly tell the gentlemen to pay for his companionship or "fuck off". So, please,  observe the rules of the game.

Me? I read it in the cranky old school teacher voice who yells at everyone in the room for something one person did.

I just know that when robber speaks, there's white smoke billowing out of chimneys.

As there is when certain other posters refer to hit pieces.

Well…… this website sure has a lot of “yelling at everyone in the room for something one person did”, but it’s not usually clients who are held collectively culpable for the actions of individual members of their group….

There's a "canon" joke to be made in there somewhere, but alas I'm getting on a bit.

Take care, Walt. The many days you passed, attired in a dunce's hat and consigned to a corner of the classroom could come back to haunt you. . .

1. Hopefully you gave this advice directly to the acquaintance whom you recommended to the escort.

2. It seems to me that the escort could communicate the point without being too rude, if he hasn't already done so.  When the client texts him to say he's "around," the escort can simply reply along the lines of, "Feel free to contact me when you are ready to hire me again."  Only someone truly dense wouldn't understand that that means the escort only wants to be contacted for business purposes.  If the client persists, then a more direct but still not rude reply might be something like, "I don't have time to hang out off-the-clock, but will be happy to see you if you want to hire me again."

you'd be surprised how that often doesn't get respected by people who reach out.

Recently I had that problem with someone and the literal message before their most recent outreach was me telling them that
