Everything comes with time. You may have to put up with doing a lot of handholding, his entitlement, his immaturity, finding alternate means of contacting or finding these guys, and using different communication styles. It’s more work on your part, but that’s what you need to do to engage twinks, whether you’re hiring or simply hooking up.

Yup. That's why I rarely if ever hire twinks nowadays.

I'd bet twinks make better house boys, but that's only because you're in a position to properly discipline them. Great for retirees

You don’t see a problem with a 63 year old being attracted to 18 year olds that look teens or younger? ? Isn’t that what a twink is? Is my understanding of what a twink is incorrect?

Wow... You have a deep misunderstanding of what a twink is. I have met many 18-22yo guys who clearly have adult bodies.  They do not look like 15yo's or 10yo's as you are claiming. (What 18yo looks 10yo anyway unless they have some sort of disorder???) Just because someone isn't interested in muscled, hairy 30+yo guys doesn't make them pedos.  If they are old enough to join the military, then what's the problem?

maybe you are covering for an addiction of your own? Just stop it. For what it is worth in NYC I get hit on on the street, at the gym, at the pool by twinks...have no idea why...my dad bod? my big member? who knows..sometimes it makes me uncomfortable they are so persistent...but they are of legal age and have to respect their enthusiasm...

Interesting that they have time to hit on you on the street, the pool, the gym instead of having their faces buried on their phones...

right? although as NYC opened up during the pandemic there was a rush for in person cruising...at the pool it was freaky, lol...getting out the pool and once two young guys lunged out of the pool and followed me...my massage therapist who is older than me told me how suddenly at his gym there was a line at the urinals and to take a shower...things have calmed down since then but in person cruising has been resurrected...at least in NYC...thankfully!!!

That’s not what a twink is. A twink is just a gay with a young appearance and a slim body. Typically someone in their 20s (doesn’t have to be early 20s). Troye Sivian is the prototypical twink and he is 29. As for a 63 year old man being attracted to someone who is 18,  I (being 30 myself and still classified as a twink by my friends) agree with you is pretty disturbing. I also find old men using the term “play” kinda gross but that’s just me.

I'm curious - given that you've already established that it's more about body type than age - why would you find it disturbing?

In addition - are we not forgetting that often younger guys are attracted to older guys??

Why can that not be mutual?

To me, age is a number - and rest assured, my energy levels, flexibility, fitness, and interests have nothing to do with the fact that I'm retired (early retirement)

This is extremely cringe and creepy! You’re into 18 year olds that look like children?? Aren’t you middle aged? Some of you need stronger meds and lots of therapy… and I’m being super nice here!

When you say you’re being super nice it may mean you are trying to be tactful at saying you think there is something perverted about of us who enjoy twinks.  Personally I don’t understand the attraction to super beefcake guys, many of who look so unnatural.   Yet you would never hear me say guys who have this beefcake fantasy or mature desire have med issues Altho I am sure some do

I've never had issues with not getting twinks. They're going up in prices, but I'm cool with it.

There is currently an 18 y/o twink on RM asking for $3000 an hour, but that's probably never going to happen. If he can get that, then I salute him.

I couldn't agree with you more.

For instance, I am not attracted to unnaturally looking guys about to have a heart attack because of their use of steroids but I keep it to myself.

Do you find it gross if anyone in their twenties uses the term "play"? If your answer is Yes, then OK, not a problem.

If No, you are ageist and your prejudices will catch up with you sooner than you expect.

I mean I find it gross when older men call the people that they’re hiring “boys” and then use that interchangeably with “play”. It’s just weird but okay call me ageist all you want lol.

The "boys": part I get. I think it's weird (and delusional or even worse) when anyone over 18 calls either himself or his peers "boy/s". They are "men".

I think we have found some consensus here lol. I mean "play" in itself isn't that big of an issue so I can concede that I may have spoken too harshly. I guess it only makes me cringe when I see it next to "boy/s".

Ha!   I’m not sure what “play” even means…that tells you how new I am to this 😂

"Play" means "doing the deed" whatever that might mean between two consenting adults, however simple or however complex.  😉

The word "play" is sometimes paired with the word "party" which means "doing drugs."

Have fun!

Absolutely agree with the sentiment for “boy” in contexts intending paedophilia/hebophilia role-play but… it seems questionable to always force the word into that box.

Ever called a lover “baby”? What of a 25yo man calling his 50yo lover “daddy”? Is “loverboy” always in the boy-cringe category? What about “sweetie” or “cutie” in sexual context even though frequently pet names for children? I say I’m going out with the “boys” sometimes when referring to a night out with males friends in mid-30s to 60s.

My point is, if the person saying “boy” truly means a playful word applied only to legal adults, perhaps any cringe should the responsibility of the listener not the speaker. Or, should we purge all word usage where literal meaning would be wildly different and abhorrent compared to informal common usage? Just something to think about.
