I'm short, barely 5' 6", and weigh 250 give or take 5-10 pounds, and I'm well into my 60's.  Those I've met, who I really enjoyed, either told me in advance there was no judgement, or I felt was treated as well as anyone else.

A good provider is usually very open minded and weight is not the most concern for him. What more important is personality and hygiene. I personally find bears attractive, especially if they come with friendly smiles 😊

I'm sure some gay men might prefer dating overweight or obese men, they usually call themselves "chubby chasers". I don't think there's a way to know what percentage of gay men would prefer that body type over someone in shape thought. 

When it comes to escorts they're are usually prepared to deal with men of all ages and sizes, specially in the USA and not so much in Europe, whether they're attracted to them or not. It would be nice for clients to accurately describe themselves before an encounter, I've read in RM many clients profiles describing themselves as "chubby" at 300 Lbs.

I remember ads saying "in shape only" but I haven't seen those lately because some potential clients consider them to be a turn off.

I love the male privilege embedded in "in shape only" as if women sex workers haven't been dealing with the grossest possible men since the dawn of humanity. I feel hygiene is essential for provider and client, but the rest of it is just being a bit of a dick.

Agreed! Without a doubt is essential but in America is implied. We do have to improve when it comes to our lack of bidet culture but a shower (usually) is good enough. 🫡

and yes, most escorts are often good looking and might internally balk at fat clients. provided they're friendly and open, it shouldn't matter. most people have facets of their job they dislike. often in life we have to show tact or step down. we don't get everything in life we like our own way. 

 

Most service professionals who have given it any thought have an avatar client. I'm guessing that for escorts who stay really busy,  9- or 10- good looks are not an essential characteristic of their avatar client.

I've been fit and I've been fat over the years. Chasers do in fact exist. And sometimes they're hot young jocks. It's always been interesting to see as my weight fluctuates how I become visible to some, invisible to others...

When you were overweight did you inform escorts about that in advance? Just in case they happened not to be chubby chasers
