Lies people tell to providers

A friend of mine was an escort for several years and told me a few stories he's heard:

  • "Yeah, this is my house/car" when it was clearly an AirBnB/rental, etc.
  • "I work in this big important job!" or "I'm a very important _______ in government!"
  • "I've never done this before"

In the end...  he said it never really mattered.  As long he paid, if they wanted that story... so be it.  That was just them living a fetish or fantasy.

I add 20 lbs and 5 years to what I tell provider about me. They’re always pleasantly surprised when I show up without those additions. 😂

What's the point?

I always say that I am nervous.  (Many times this is true.)

Well, if you're nervous, so what?  It's common amongst both parties at times.  In fact, I think many clients perhaps are nervous at varying points when being with providers.

I was the pits when I first hired.  In fact, the provider had to guide me from beginning to end.  In looking back upon that first time those twenty-five or more years ago, I think and smile and ask WHY?

I’m sure most of my clients use an alias. One or two have even had a different name the second time they visited (I had their number in my phone against their original name..). It can get quite tricky.

Yeah, I don’t care if they want their name to be Mathilda. I just ask that they pick one name and stick to it.

That's unfortunate as well as bizarre.  Over the 25+ years that I've been engaging the services of providers, I've always supplied my first name.  If my surname appears on the screen of the phone, so be it.  It has never been a problem with me.

One time my former go-to-guy in San Francisco range my landline; his real surname appeared on my screen.  Out of respect-- I never revealed that to him.

Not so bizarre. Many clients want absolute confidentiality. Some are married or high profile. It’s understandable they’d use an alias, and then forget what name they used when rebooking.
