Age Limits?

For a good while, I've engaged the services of escorts.  Recently, I've been seeking permission to see the photos that are in the vault of some at RentMen.  Well, I've been rejected by some, for I am over 40.  My question to you is: as an escort, do you have an age limit as to the men you choose to meet for pleasure?

Up until this year, I've received this type of rejection.

Mostly I do massage, for some clients it’s more like an escort service. I have no upper age limit for escort or massage clients, it really doesn’t matter. The only thing for massage is one needs to be healthy for massage.

In fact I think I enjoy seeing older clients more than younger ones (especially as I’m not a young provider anyway!). That’s a generalisation of course, but from my experience I think it’s true. 

If you come across an escort or masseur who is picky about age (or size for that matter) then chances are he’s in it for his own satisfaction and not necessarily that of his clients.

Do you send a message along with your request to see their pvt photos or are you just assuming it's your age because 40 is not old at all! Most providers won't unlock unless you are seriously considering booking.

I had a male client whom I was seeing for the first time apologize for his age (early 60s) and asked me if it would be a problem working on an older guy. It's awful to have to feel apologetic or ashamed of having lived for so long. Given that AIDS led to many premature deaths in the 80s and 90s, every day I'm six feet above ground is a blessing.

You have to learn not to take it personally. Your money spends the same as that of a 30-something. If one escort or masseur doesn't want your business, just move on. That person did you a favor in rejecting you outright. No need to pay for feeling humiliated over a fact of life that comes to us all, if we're lucky.

You may want to remind said escort who rejects an "age" that not all men who are 40years old and over look alike or act alike. There was one fantastic bodybuilder I couldn't get enough of -- he was 68 but well preserved.

I'm in a similar age group. I haven't experienced this. So maybe it's people who want more engagement before unlocking as @BuffaloKyle suggested.

I always thought asking to unlock photos was a sign of engagement. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything there from anyone that was so unique or titillating that I could be accused of just picture collecting. However some providers only reveal their face in there.

I doubt that there are enough under 40 clients out there, and the providers who restrict themselves to such unicorns would last long in the business.

I’ve never encountered any ageism in this hobby. If one stays in top shape, dresses well, is funny and engaging, and possesses excellent hygiene, one can easily engage into one’s 70’s.

Some "providers won't unlock unless....

 

As a Premium Member of Rentmen, I click on the request button, and RM sends the request to the escort.  The escort sends his decision to RM; RM then in turn notifies me. 

My assessment is definitely NOT an assumption.  It's all done in a smooth manner via RM.

While there are some providers who are picky in terms of the gents they’ll engage with - whether it’s age based, body type, ethnicity, et al, I’ve never encountered it. I’d say the ones advertising with a list of “onlys” and/or a list of “no’s” are the ones to avoid. 

I don’t send a request or ask to unlock without some communication first. If I like a gent’s profile, I’ll send a message, (either on RM or text, depending on whether he states a preference in his profile - sometimes both), if I get a reply, and we’re on the same page re:scheduling, then I’ll say something like “may I see your other pics?” or similar. Often times, I don’t need to as the gent has unlocked them himself. 

I do not think it’s an age thing at all - I think providers read/reply to the manual messages over the automated ones as the former at least give an indication a client is serious vs an automated message which may result in an “ugh another pic collector” reaction from the provider. 

I think the fact @Axiom2001 you’re a premium member says to the provider that you’re serious, you do hire, and you’re not just a pic collector type, so your automated message request to unlock carries more weight than one from basic member “Joe Soap”. 

Just my tuppence on this topic.

All of my clients are over 40. A good number are in their 70s and 80s. No upper limit. 

When I’m deciding to unlock or decline, age is not a factor, but other aspects of the client’s profile are. Biggest red flag is if they’ve posted several negative reviews, or it could be something in their description. 

Is there any possibility that there is something else in your profile that might give a provider pause?

I have a friend who - let’s just say for the point of this anecdote - is older and fatter than gay civilization tolerates.

he has a regular engagement with a prominent provider in our geography. Their interaction is respectful, the provider encourages him to extend sessions, meet more regularly, tells him he enjoys it as well etc etc 

he also sees the provider popping up every so often on one of the online hookup apps. He initiated contact once not realizing who it was, and maybe the provider didn’t recognize him either, but he got an instant rejection being told directly he was too old and fat.

anyway the point being when there’s a transaction involved most providers will relax whatever criteria they may have for hooking up with someone in their real lives. And that’s part of the point of the business model.

Once, after made an appointment with a provider, I went on RM to read his interview questions. He shot me an angry RM message asking me if I was going to book him or not (he didn't know my RM name).

How does he know it's actually the provider on the app? It's easy to grab someone else's pics and put them in your profile. There are plenty of catfishers out there.
