Can Older Men Still Have Quality Experiences?

I am not a provider, but I always give my age to make sure they are ok with my age.  I always get the reviews on this site first and rarely have a problem.  My current go to guy is 21 and we both leave satisfied (or at least he cums).  Bottom line is that, I sure understand that they may rather be with a younger guy, but I appreciate the effort of a true professional.   I look forward to seeing how the providers respond to this question.

My oldest client is in his late 70’s. He’s fantastic. I get as much pleasure from seeing him enjoy himself as I do clients in their 20’s.

I do understand the perception that somehow it’s more fun with a young fit guy. I’d have said that too before I started doing massage. I did wonder at the start of doing this work if I’d be able to be the same with every client but actually I find that’s not the challenge at all.

Now that I’ve been doing sensual massage for years and seen all sorts of clients I can definitely say that age or body type makes no difference to my approach (except that I’ll be less firm with someone who’s less muscular). The biggest challenge isn’t their age or physical appearance, it’s their attitude.

Some older guys take longer to get hard or climax so that’s different but otherwise I find most people regardless of age are looking for similar things; a relaxing proper massage, some intimacy, some fun and to feel at ease and be themselves. If the person I’m seeing is coming for those reasons then it’s great. If their attitude is they just want to use me to get off then it doesn’t work. Fortunately I can screen those type of clients out before they book.

The driver for me is that my client is enjoying themselves. The more they enjoy our session  the better it is for me…in a virtuous circle kind of way. If a 75 year old has great time then so did I. Age is irrelevant. Attitude is everything.

Do providers give the same effort for old men that they do for younger customers?

To the question as posed in the title, I'd say yes, absolutely. I agree completely with @Jamie21's thoughts above, in particular the sentiment that an escort can feed off a client's enjoyment, creating a virtuous circle. If anything, I would say that older clients develop this circle more easily, maybe by being a little less self conscious about showing their enjoyment.

I can say as well that my long-term clients include folks in their 60's and 70's, I appreciate them tremendously and I hope that our continued relationships reflect some reciprocation of that feeling. "Effort" is to me a slightly funny way of conceiving of it, to me, since I don't see escorting as (most of the time)  particularly physically laborious, but I think I can say honestly that age doesn't affect the amount of attention, care, or engagement I offer a client.

The second phrasing of the question of course refers to providers very generally, which no individual here would claim to speak for.I don't imagine that any of our regular posters have any issues with older clients. So, maybe the Deli would have better guidance for you on what to expect from whom, and how to find the right escort for you.

I'll agree with this too. Older clients usually know what they like, and what they want, and will be able to say so. That helps me engage more fully and have more fun. Younger guys may be less experienced and/or hesitant to ask for what they really want, so it can be harder to connect and have what feels like a mutually engaging time. Of course these are generalizations, but it's to contrast with what people might assume that escorts would prefer younger clients.

I've had plenty of clients in their 70s and 80s, and we have lots of fun. Climaxing may or may not be on the table, and we're able to approach that with maturity. There are so many fun things to do together that don't focus on climaxing, so we'll do all that. Plus I like the conversations with older clients, they often have a lot of interesting things to talk about and I enjoy that. So if a guy like @The Big Guy gets in touch and gives his age, I'm grateful and look forward to the appointment.

And I'm not just saying all this to tell people what they might want to hear... I really mean it!

As a client, I certainly agree with the consensus of the providers’ comments above. Over my years of hiring escorts, I have found the best escorts who are completely committed to providing the very best BFE’s not only seem to have no hangups about age but actually enjoy providing complete satisfaction to older men!

I have discussed this with a number of my regular hires and a few have expressed that, if anything, they are more wary of being hired by younger clients in their 20’s than older clients in their 60’s! In my case, my tastes tend to be quite vanilla in bed, though. So if you want to satisfy certain fetishes, be sure to explain exactly what you expect from the escort you are interested in.

Noticed I was now in the "older" age group, whatever that means.  It's nice to know that many providers will not avoid me just based on age.  I worry about that.  My body is changing in many ways of course.  Sexual function is just one more of them.  Attitude IS everything, as someone said.  THAT, I can always do something about.  Cheers.

A primary number year. Something significant is going to happen in your life this year.  One of my few superstitions

Ooh interesting, I’ve actually had two so far, major job change and cross country move…  but I’ll take more.  (Only two months left) 😀

I'm just a little younger than @Rod Hagen but my husband is older. For the most part we gravitate to providers in their 30s and 40s because we find them more attractive, more likely to have shared interests and references, and have mostly had great experiences. We've also had some good experiences with guys in their 20s but - also - most of our bad experiences were with younger guys. I think that the age gap has something to do with it, but also their relative lack of experience. With some. younger guys, it's like they have an erotic massage or sex script in mind, whereas older guys are more flexible, adaptable and in tune with us as clients.

I don't know if we'll continue to see providers in our 60s and 70s but I would think so. We do try to stay in good shape and I see men at that age all the time that I find attractive. So, I think older man can and should expect good experiences.

Just curious as to how we are defining “older”?

Lucky, the original poster, is presumably in his 70s now, or nearly, given his reference points in other posts, so in this case assume we are defining "older" as 65 and up.

Yes, over 29 is the beginning of the end in the gay world! In my head I’m always 29. Physically I’m 10 years younger than my age (I’ve looked after myself I guess) but in the gay world I’m definitely ancient!

Luckily I’ve never wanted to fit in to any group or comply with any social conventions like that so I’ve ignored those social group conventions about what you’re supposed to do at what age. I think Groucho Marx that said he didn’t want to belong to any club that would accept him as a member. I feel similarly so I disregard age, looks, background etc as being restrictions about what’s possible. That opens up opportunities.

So despite being ‘too old’ to do sex work I find that I get plenty of clients because fortunately not everyone wants a sensual massage done by a hot young thing with one eye on his abs in the mirror, and one hand on his phone scrolling TikTok while he perfunctorily goes through the massage motions.

Interestingly  I find that female clients are more open to older masseurs. Maybe it’s a trust thing or that female arousal is more about emotional connection and less visual than male arousal. I do think that gay male clients will make decisions to hire on things like pictures (and cock size especially) whereas female clients will decide to hire based on things like their perception of your professional approach, references and respectability (and only then will they consider cock size!!). In those respects age acts as an advantage.

I’ve a sex worker friend who still does sensual massage in his mid sixties. He’s busy, his clients value his experience. I’m not sure I’ll have the energy or inclination to still work at that age but I’m not ruling it out. Let’s not let age define what we can and cannot do. If you can physically do something at age 90 then go ahead and do it.

I am reaching my late 50s and will only see guys 30 and up.  My last two experiences with younger weren't great.  They obviously weren't attracted to me and just wanted to get me off as soon as possible so I'd leave.

I realize this is frustrating and I have had similar experiences.  Has anyone found a technique that slows the masseur down from rushing to completion? Has this been included in anyones up front communications with success?  I agree hiring older therapists is a solution but I still like going to the younger guys.

I'm not sure you can. I do think there are some younger guys - Nick Halden, Aaron Oaks, Southernjock in NYC - who don't rush. So I think it's a matter of choosing the right masseur.
