Gay brothels?

for Kocnet linked above, does anybody know what the triangle symbol means in each guy's description?.....also, what does "3 thumbs" mean?.....and what's the diff between "top"/"bottom" and "top (anal sex)"/"bottom (anal sex)"?.......thanks.......

In Japan a circle is alway yes/true, a cross  is always no/false and a triangle is maybe/sometimes/it depends.

I think 3P indicates where if the guy is confortable in a threesome. And because it is a gay threesome, maybe they have an in-joke in Japan to say that it is a 3 penis affair, so a three thumbs party? I could be wrong

Top / bottom is used for indicating who will be sucking who, whereas top (anal sex) / bottom (anal sex) indicates if the guy will actually fuck.

I have a straight friend who hires, and he enjoys going to brothels, ranging from legal ones in different countries to "hidden" ones in Chicago.

Does anyone know of any "hidden" male brothels in the States? Nevada doesn't have any openly gay brothels,  and the only one I ever heard of was in the Netherlands.

Well now… they wouldn’t be “hidden” if you were told where they were~ 🤔😛Let’s all petition and advocate to make brothels legal everywhere so that we can lower the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, crimes of sex and sexual violence and throw a few tax dollars to the government for what should be a legitimate profession and form of employment~

long overdue due… (not: no “warning sarcasm alert” here~ I really think we should mobilize and push from some legislation that legalizes the various provider professions~

The places in Amsterdam were great. I seem to recall two. One had a bar area where you could chat with the guys before making your selection. I think the other mostly used photos in a book for you to choose from.

That was probably BlueBoyBar and WhyNot? Club 24 also never really did very well. Amsterdam should be gay brothel ground but just isn't. I did overnight a 5* Swiss from BB once but he was the only decent one there. Hamburg, Koln, Berlin and even Dusseldorf and Frankfurt really have more of this stuff. The German Bahnhofjunge tradition.

When I hear "Earl's Court," I think about gay sex. When I hear "Kensington," I think about shopping at Harrods.

You mean Harrod's Knightsbridge, which many Kensington hotels and restaurants call themselves now too.

And of course a lot of eastern Knightsbridge is calling itself Mayfair, where the status migration ends.

I haven't been to London for decades but when I was there doing a lot of work and enjoying the nightlife, I could distinguish between Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Soho.  For me Kensington was a royal palace, not really a neighborhood I identified with as such.

Then in broader terms I thought of places as The City, the west end, the east end, the south end. And then there were the places a long way away on the tube which eventually surfaced before you got to your destination like Northwood, which were London's suburbs, where I sometimes went to have dinner with friends.

It would be nice to go back to see how things have changed, if they really have.

I once went to a nightclub in the West End whose name I forget but it was a supper club with female escorts. I went with a group of businessmen and after dinner, women were brought to the table and seated beside each guest.

Then there was a floor show with various acts. One was a man and woman acrobatic act which involved bringing up guests to participate. I was picked out for one act because I was in my 30s and fit as opposed to all the other men who were middle aged or older at my table.

So I was placed on my back on a stage supporting the male on my feet and hands and his female partner standing on his back, all to the sounds or rolling drums. I got a pair of gold cufflinks for being a good sport which I still have somewhere. If I find them I'll let you know the name of the club.

I can't find the cufflinks but I think the name of the club was Churchill's. It was in the West End and had good food and hostesses, as they were called. London had several such clubs, one other called Winstons. Don't know why they favoured the name of their most famous politician. Apparently it closed in 1980. I was there in 1974 or so.

The hostess I was assigned was not the prettiest of the 8 at our table and I dropped her off from my taxi rather than take her home to my hotel. Some of the others went home with their dinner companions.

I lived in Islington. To me, everything west of Marble Arch was "Kensington."🙃

There is a West End, and an East End but not a South end!! Unless you’re talking about Southend On Sea which is on the coast and not in London at all (unless you’re flying to the airport there which is confusingly called London Southend…hmmm).

Londoners refer to the south part as South Of The River and of course the further south you go from the south bank of the river the more awful it gets 🙂 . If you can see the river it’s ok…but North Londoners won’t go beyond sight of the Thames. It’s scary and full of danger down there. Even the Tube doesn’t risk going far into that territory.

Best stick to the West End for fun, the City for work and the East End for a curry. That’s London advice for you.

Yeah, I used the south end term carelessly. I meant south of the Thames and I only really ventured there once to see an old lover who had moved to London around 1978 to study ballet. He lived in a really cheap set of digs. We rekindled the romance for that week I was in London and I took him to some great restaurants since I was on expense account and he was literally a starving artist.

My fave place maybe 15+ years ago was called Millennium Concepts, which was located in a couple different office parks in Upland, CA, and had a great assortment of hot younger fit guys. You'd make your appointment and then knock on the office door, and the owner would let you in to any number of "offices," each set up with a sofa, TV with porn, pretty warm decor, and then your date would come to your office. When the time was up, the owner would knock on the outside door to let you know.

Was a lot of fun across at least 3 or maybe 4 years. Great assortment of hot, masculine young guys. Wish they were still around.

Only other place that came close was more recent, a massage/naked yoga place in an office park too, in Van Nuys, I think. But the owner closed it down, I think. Andreas, on Rentmasseur, was one of the massage therapists there; hot time.

They’re illegal in the UK too. I’m not sure how the place in Earls Court works. Maybe because it seems to describe itself as a massage place. Must be well run.

Has anyone ever gone there for a massage?

One day I'll go……just for the hell of it. He better be a 10 out of 10 though, I'd have had nothing but disappointing hires in London in July, September and December (earlier this month) this year  . At least the rates are lower than the London standard…. and bargain compared to New York

I have been many, many times.

It is not always 10 out of 10, there are always encounters that don’t work well, you can’t expect humans to ALWAYS be perfect. and sometimes you just don’t click with a guy, it’s nobody’s fault.

But this place is always there, every day, reliably, and they give you choices.

So it if the first guy is not a 10, just get another guy right after that first. For that price, you probably can afford it anyway.

I’m surprised you had disappointing hires here. The London market still has a lot of providers (despite some leaving due to Brexit and Covid), it’s competitive. Guys need to be good to get regular clients.

The only gay brothel I've been to was Drake's in Prague. Sensibly organized and well run. You entered into a large room where you could get a drink and preview/interact with the available guys. Once you made a decision, you paid the young man's fee and room rent upfront and received a package of clean sheets and towels for your use. Once in your room, the young man would make the bed, and either/both of you could freshen up in the attached shower. After the intimate activities were concluded, the two of you would return to desk, where the young man would receive his fee.

I went to Drake's in 1999 with American friends who had been there on previous trips. We hired 3 guys from there but took them back to our hotel which was somewhat out of the center of town, a good taxi ride away. After our appointments, they left together in a taxi. I watched from the window in my room. A good time was had by all, as I gathered the next morning at breakfast.

There was a place in Van Nuys(?) on Califa Street, it had a 'Jungle Room'.

I've been to Villa Gianni twice. You're right, it describes itself as a massage parlour (it ain't though, trust me! 😂😈).

And yes it is run extremely well; it's been open since at least the early 1990s I believe. Initially it was known as 'Earls Court Clinique' (I think I read somewhere in these Forums), and changed its name to 'Villa Gianni' in 1997.

A Forum member on here told me through private messaging that there were several such places in London during the 1980s and 1990s, but now VG is the only one remaining.

Most major European cities have them. Some of them have been around for a very long time. They are generally quite expensive, extremely discreet, and do not advertise. Admission often requires a personal introduction from a current patron.

Would love to know more. This is news to me. In London and Paris? Dm if you like 😀
