There is one, Knight Call, in Sydney's Kings Cross, and from its web page appears to be operating. I haven't used it.

Oops, I didn't click far enough into the site. It lists its prices and escorts with direct contact details for them but notes it is not operating from the address on the opening page, but will return at new premises when things return to normal.

I was at Knight Call shortly before the pandemic.  It is a "regular" stop for me on my trips to Sydney.  Very well run place and you can preview the guys on their website before you ever go there.  If you have a "special request" for one of the guys, it is always best to call them a day before, as not all of the guys are there every day.

I went to one in London -- not sure if it's the same one that other guys are referencing. The one I went to was in a residential area in a basement flat. I rang the bell and then I could see the guys through one-way glass. The manager was a British Indian guy who explained that the guys would do "massage plus." The guy I chose was English -- nice guy. I enjoyed my time with him.

I've been to a number of the places mentioned in this thread. The Asian massage places are mostly great. The Japanese host clubs are intriguing but I haven't spent much time in Japan yet. The enormous number of guys listed on their websites is fascinating.

I have not ever seen anything in the US like those in foreign countries.

There's also Cityboys in Dusseldorf which is operating according to their website with all providers vaccinated. Mostly skinny Czech and Slovak guys. I saw two guys there in one afternoon several years ago. There was a little club in Cologne (I think - long ago called something like Valentinos) where I had a fun time. I believe there were a couple of places in Prague that were more like hustler bars.

The places in Amsterdam were great. I seem to recall two. One had a bar area where you could chat with the guys before making your selection. I think the other mostly used photos in a book for you to choose from.

I recall going to a couple of different places in Sydney long ago and meeting an absolutely gorgeous boy at one of them. And there was a place on Melbourne near some railroad tracks that was quite interesting. That was all so long ago now. Fun memories though.

lol... i was thinking the same. When I moved to NYC in the 90s.... North West Chelsea was no man's land. I don't think it even had a name...

I guess I probably lived in North West Chelsea in the 1960s (West 29th St between 8th and 9th Aves.), but I have never heard that term.

When I hear "Earl's Court," I think about gay sex. When I hear "Kensington," I think about shopping at Harrods.

We were of the same era. I remember staying at Selfridges Hotel in the 1970s and got a taxi one night at the front door. When I asked the driver to take me to Earls Court, he said in his cockney accent "you sure you want to go there? That's for pouffs." And I replied "I know, that's where I want to go"

End of conversation.

Or North West Chelsea 😂. I love how people try to make their area sound better than it is.

This reminds me of one of my favorite Absolutely Fabulous exchanges.

Antonia: Where am I here?
Patsy: In my gracious drawing room.
Antonia: No, I mean where is this? Shepherd's Bush?
Eddie: Holland Park! Holland Park! It's not on the outskirts, either. It's not the edge of Holland Park. This is the rich heartland of Holland Park here. All right, is the photographer here yet?
Antonia: No, we never do photos on the same day. Next week.
Eddie: It's a seventy-foot drawing room with west-facing garden. One point five million.

I had a similar experience in Chicago as recently as 2017.  My Uber driver was to take me to Boys Town.  The driver said "are you sure you want to go to Boys Town, it's full of gays".  I said yes, and he was silent the rest of the way there.

These kinds of experiences show that we can pass for straight in public. People judge others on their appearance and demeanor, even the tone of their voices. Gays are stereotyped in the public mind and if you don't fit the type, they assume you are straight. It can lead to some amusing situations.

And most of us used to think this was a great advantage.

In a way it's like being bilingual in a foreign country and you can speak their language.

Yes...I'd love to be able to understand Vietnamese when getting my pedicure. No, I don't worry what they are saying about me... but, It would be fun  to surprise them with a comment in  their language sometime.

How about these places?  p.s. Powers that be, please don't fuckin' penalize me because the URLs of these sites/locations use the words boys and kids to describe men, it's not my freakin' fault.  Thank you.

I have been to King of College many times, it is really great.
You can just walk in and sit down for a drink, while the manager explains how it works, the guys are also right there at the bar for you to choose. Before you take one home, you can have a drink with him and make sure you are compatible.
Or if you prefer you can order one of the guys to your hotel online or on the phone.

Last I was in Tokyo was 2010, the other sites were not online, so I never tried them, but I suspect all the others places operate the same way.

Many of the guys have hard limits, as you can see on the Tokyo Kids website, they explain if they will bottom or top, suck, or just kiss but nothing else.
So make sure you know that before ordering a guy.
You can openly discuss all the sexual details with the guy or the manager, since gay prostitution is fully legal in Japan, nobody is concerned of being busted by the police.

Please report your findings, I am very interested!

That’s so enlightened. Good for Japan. An amazing culture.
