But if they say their window is short and so they are messaging multiple people RIGHT NOW then I know I'm one of many.
And as a provider, how do you view and treat potential clients who say that?

I happen to know of one with a Boston accent in grad school here in Los Angeles on the DL that I found on SA a few years ago.
however the way you have treated others on here in your condescending tone and vibe there is no way in hell I am referring you to him as I like him too much as a person and provider.- Marc in Calif, Walt and tennisjock

I'd report him to RentMen. You may not have proof, but at least he'll get kicked off if anyone else meets him and has trouble.
EDIT: You won't be able to leave a review without meeting, so go the report route. I did this to a thief who also decided to ply his trade on RM. Shortly afterwards, I recall he received a1-star review, and was apparently expelled from RM within days.- bytemysyntax, rvwnsd, Marc in Calif and 2 others

Soliciting for a tip before the session. I kid you not.

I keep thinking about this line from either a TV show or movie, from the 1990s. If anyone recognizes where it came from, please reply.
"You must be one of those people who believe hookers when they say they like you."

In more than one of these cases I’m pretty sure specific individuals were targeted
To some cops, all gay men fall into the "specific individuals" category. Especially in the red states where they do it.
It's no different than when cops raided gay bars. They just find another justification to get rid of gays.

I don't think it's an unusual fetish at all. In fact it's massively tame.
If you asked him to pretend to be John F. Kennedy, I might take a second look.

That's not been my experience, and I doubt if any rational, profit-motivated provider would do that.
However, I never say "no." I say, "I'm out of town" or "I can't, but maybe next time."
I've had travelling providers text me every time they're in town, even if I haven't hired them yet, but only shown an interest. One guy came to Chicago 4 times before our schedules meshed. It turned out to be worth waiting for.

It goes through my mind whether these guys are great actors or are they really having a great time too?
If it's any consolation, that concern is not limited to providers.

As I've mentioned, I almost always hire for 2 hours - 2 orgasms separated by relaxation and conversation.
Personally, I enjoy just letting the providers talk. A lot of them like to tell stories (with no names, of course), and quite a few got me to ROFL. Laughter is truly the ultimate aphrodisiac.

I'm not confused. I've never about credible sting operations on here.
Several providers have been caught in Vegas and I know many who don't travel there at all for that reason.
Cops often use the Grindr app to entrap gay men for "prostitution." There was that uproar after those Georgia police arrested gay men back in 2020 over Grindr, and charged with prostitution because they offered a smoke to the cop (which they claimed was payment for sex 🙄)
I honestly don't know why cops put fake profiles on Grindr to catch johns when there's more accessible sites. Best guess is that the police closet cases are already using it to hire.

Even in second-tier cities, we’re seeing $300, which is fair. I don’t mind $400 for a real hottie.
Yup. The most common is 300/500 1/2 hours, and I go for 2 hours if they have the time. I'm glad I'm not in NYC.
Hiring someone from RentMen may be a luxury, but paying for sex hardly is, provided you're more resourceful and willing to take more risks.
EDIT: To clarify, when I see RM visiting from NYC/LA/SF to Chicago, they charge much higher prices (was recently quoted 400/700 for 1/2 hour ; I didn't even bother to respond). However, different cities have different costs of living, and it seems that when the hotter ones travel, they usually end up at an overnight/party/yacht trip with a rich guy. Many traveling escorts most definitely market themselves as a luxury good.

I did, and would not repeat. His body is excellent, and he got me off (hence my 5 star rating), but his personality and professionalism warrant negative 5 stars.
The first time I contacted him, he forgot the appointment; the second time I had to remind him of the appointment. More proof not to give second chances to careless escorts.
His English is almost nonexistent, unless it's memorized phrases that he doesn't seem to know the meaning of. Overall, I found him to be an arrogant and rude brat.
I'll leave it at that here. I limit details to PMs.

Waiting 10 minutes for an Uber in the middle of the street could be annoying but waiting at home watching TV, chilling, reading emails, is not that bad....
Oh I've had young providers say they're ready for an Uber. Then once it arrives they say they still need 10 minutes.
The last time someone did thay, I told him if he didn't catch the Uber, the session was cancelled. He got in, then he gave me a shitty attitude because he had a massive ego.
I need more filters on who I hire.

If you're willing to wait 15 minutes, you can always take or administer a swab HIV test at a session.
However, if you're newly infected, you might not test positive for several weeks. That won't help either. Just be safe.

There are multiple reasons from discrimination to potential future lawsuits.
There are still 13 states that require people to reveal their STD status before sex.
Even if it was a federal law, though, I wouldn't trust it.

If by "client attitude " you mean hiring consistency, then yes, that's the major way to make "discounts." Regulars I have a good relationship with locked me in at pre pandemic prices. I make it up through continual hiring and gifts.

I'm wondering if anyone has found something like this.
I tried candy.io, but it seems very limiting.
Obviously, ChatGPT has blocked my requests.
-
I'm significantly younger and skinnier than most clients (or at least the clients who hire my regulars).
Nobody has ever offered me a discount for that reason alone.
-
My RM premium account already has my stats on it, as well as what I'm into, etc.
You'd be surprised how few new providers bother reading a client's profile.

P. Diddy Giving Us a Warning

Don't jump to conclusions. There are a lot of people who would sue and lie since he's got money. The fact that the one lawsuit was filed right before the deadline says enough.
I just hope that, in one of these cases, the judges strike down these stupid laws and definitions. Under the current idiocracy, every single client could be called a "sex-trafficker," and every transaction "survival sex."
