What are the better Rentmen profiles and why?

I am curious what peoples thoughts are on the best Rentmen profiles out there and more importantly why you like them. I also think some of the pros would like to see what people like. I just ask that we keep this discussion thread on what we like and not what we dislike

That's a good point. I do find that sometimes they publish a dissertation and i end of reading none of it. But I do appreciate it when they outline something and then show it

I absolutely love the interviews and when guys give creative and thorough answers to the questions. It reminds me of magazine interviews with celebrities and it is always fun to read.

Keep in mind this can be considered crossing the line with RentMen's as well as others policies regarding sexual descriptions. That would be reason to permanently ban and remove an advertiser. Advertisers have to be careful with what we can say and list in an ad otherwise we can face termination of our ads or heavy editing without notice.

 

Kurtis i see tons of into lists on RM would they all violate them or just explicit do you think?

Multiple pictures - at least four or five, at least a couple should be completely unclothed. The copy should convey a sense of who the escort is. The profile should provide express notice of things such as hard limits, tiered rate structures and any other information that would influence a hiring decision, without requiring the reader to parse the copy or scrutinize or interpret and wonder just what it means.

I gravitate towards profiles where the escort avoids terms such as god, adonis, king, prince, etc., when describing themselves. To me, it makes them appear like the session would be all about them, not the client. Also avoid escorts with pictures of them flipping off the client.

 

Lol, I never understood the last one. Flicking someone off looks cute in theory, but never for an ad. Unless it means "I will fuck you" versus simple "fuck you/fuck off".

 

In addition to your above terms, things like alpha seem to be popular terms too. However, some guys take the alpha thing too far. I had a friend overuse the word so much to describe any and every beefy/chubby guy he could find...that I only want to hear the word to be used to describe the actual Alpha and Omega....not used to describe a random guy who goes camping and doesn't wear deodorant.

Although it has to be experienced to understand it, Mike Gaite's ad on Rentmen is the most singularly accurate description I've ever seen. [i think I may have been part of his self-description text].

 

He is exactly as he describes himself ... well, at least with me he is. Thank goodness we live a far way apart, or he could become a very expensive habit.

The posted pictures should adequately depict the escort and should be changed if the escort's body deviates in a significant way from the pic. For example, the escort gains 30 pounds or adds big tattoos. As already noted, there should be at least one pic showing the total back and front of the body. There can be additional pics that the escort believes emphasize certain body parts that a client may be interested in. An escort can also describe his body if the written portion of his profile. Other clothed pics can show an escort at what he considers his best. The poster should fill out the "Escort Info" section as much as possible knowing that every "Ask Me" probably makes it more likely that they won't be contacted. An escort should know whether they are straight, bisexual, or gay. A client is not paying to help the escort figure it out. In most cases the same should be true of top, bottom, versatile/top, versatile/bottom. If you pick out certain things in the "Available For" and "I Am Into" you are going to be accountable for picking them. A client should not have to argue with and escort about having doing something that is clearly marked in the Escort Info section. Finally, there is always a problem when you check "Safe only" and then either a pic or a video an escort posts clearly shows the opposite. A well-written profile is always a great thing. There are a lot of ways to do this and a lot of information that can be given to the potential client. Like it or not, written language can convey a lot subliminally and clients often make decisions both by what is said and how it is said. As has been suggested, look through some of the profiles of escorts that people seem to write well of in the Forum and you will get a lot of good ideas.

I like profiles where the escort uses his actual pictures, rather than someone else's. There are ways of searching photos online and finding the source and inquiring into whether the source is actually the one in the profile. While it would be idea if the escort would have a picture with his face shown or would be willing to exchange photos, I understand the need for privacy and I respect escorts' desire to be discreet by not posting facepics. I think that they should at least be willing to do a non-recorded 3-second video chat. If an escort doesn't do face pics, then I ask for a body pic (no face) with three fingers raised to authenticate the pics in the profile. If they refuse, I'll assume their pictures are fake.

 

As for descriptions, I don't think it's about length or detail so long as it sounds like a serious profile. I don't like profiles that go like "hoTT escort here 2 satisfy ur desires !! TXT NAO!!!!" I know Rentmen has restrictions about content, but I like to know if there is something standard (kissing. BJ...etc) that the escort doesn't do.

For me, the best ads are those that provide several different photos (including face, but not necessarily nudes) + some specifics (e.g., rates, a few of the escort's own "likes" and "dislikes") + some individuality in the copy. For example, my favorite ad is for Russ, the Ginger King of NYC. I have read it dozens of times and still get a chuckle

I like to see a face. I like to see a dick. I like to see correct spelling. I like to see a smile. I also like some personal detail about who the person is as a human as opposed to just bragging about how how he'll be the best fuck I've ever had.

I always wonder if anyone is actually moved and influenced by such bolsterous terms and claims. In my opinion using such terms denotes an inflated ego which is indicative of someone who is actually quite insecure. I also don't understand flipping off the camera, I suppose it conveys a "bad-ass" attitude, but it's just offensive to me.

Depending on the staff member and advertiser, it may or may not. Rules aren't exactly enforced equally across the board.

 

Agreed. Like the "negative review" rule we all learned about a couple months ago. If the staff fancy you, they remove your "first review" if it's negative.

 

 

My favorite thing about Rentmen is I can be a creep and view pics and videos and nobody ever knows.

A reasonable amount of pictures. A new guy just showed up in Michigan, 49 pictures on his profile, the first 10 or so were basically the same picture/pose, in varying degrees of focus :-? Another relative newbie in Michigan has just two (although they're both nice pictures :-))

Personality, personality, personality: RM Profile text, interview answers, informal G-rated pics and, best of all, G-rated videos.

 

Check out this guy's five videos and interview. It has about as much personality as I think possible without a room of screenwriters and a video crew. I tried pretty hard to meet him, despite the lack of any reviews or experiential info, simply because his profile was outstanding.

 

 

I contrast this with a profile with 5 pictures of a penis and "Hung. Heavy shooter. Up for just about anything - HMU. No blocked calls."

I like mine to be as detailed as possible so a potential client is well informed. I try to upload new recent pics fairly often and I like to use my ad copy as a sort of blog so the ad isn't stale and the same all the time............

Definitely a mix of pro shots and candids. When an escort has nothing but pro shots I think "well he could have just got this anywhere" granted now with social media you can snatch candids as well but it still takes some doing. Definitely check off your "do's" and "don'ts" in the search areas as it will bring clients to you that want the things you do or will accommodate and will deflect the ones who want more than what you are willing to do. Saves time all around.

Also if you are a power bottom, most of your pics should be your face, ass, and torso. Power top, show that dick off. I will never understand all of the "top only" guys out there that will have a pic of their hole spread with their hands.

 

Try to keep the "ask me's" to a minimum. Especially on price.

Pretty pictures are great but it's personality that's absolutely essential for me.

 

It's not yet worked out for me to meet any of them, but the pics+personality appeal of @Mikegaite, @Russ & @Eric Hassan have definitely put each of them on my bucket (f*cket?) list... Links to social-media presence are also a big plus, as are non-explicit home videos. And I love it when a gent lists a multi-hour fee structure.

 

I do prefer face pics, though a multi-faceted faceless profile (like that of RomanLA) can totally work for me.

My turn offs tend to be sloppy inconsistencies within the profile info, flipping the bird, and all/only/too-many porn-studio shots/videos.

One turn off is too many pictures that really do not add to the profile. 15 to 20 face or even dick shots really don't tell me much about you, except that maybe you are too into yourself. If you are into anything like leather or underwear or kink or bondage, a few pictures of you at least holding a prop or wearing whatever will help me picture in that scene and maybe interest me.

In addition to the text, some of the pictures are just...strange. In some he is making faces at the camera and in another he looks tired, stoned, or both. With a little curation and some editing his profile would be pretty good. While I stand by my statement that I could spend hours on his balls alone, his is a pretty terrible ad.

Professional photos suck. A photographer can do miracles. Current candid ones are what I look for. I'm not a photographer looking for a model. I want to see how a guy will look right now, in person.

 

btw- Many ads obviously have some photos that are 10 years older than the others. I don't get why they're there.
