Nude modeling and experiences?

Have you posed in the buff? Would you today?

I'm asking because an acquaintance is modelling at an art school in his city. He's a regular, weekly 2 hour lab sessions for students in sculpture and charcoal. He's late 40s, reasonably fit, a free spirit (think, burning man), so not a surprise. I think he just enjoys the experience as I'm pretty sure he doesn't need the money. He has cheekily posted some of the work to social media and much of it is very... detailed. 

So, I've been a bit of a nudist and exhibitionist from my youngest days - toddlerhood on up -I'm told that at maybe 4 years old I once escaped my babysitter's grasp after bath time and ran into my folks' dinner party screaming "naked baby, naked baby"-I was looking for a goodnight kiss from my folks.

(Years later, around 2005, I was at a dinner party and the neighbors' three young sons nonchalantly jumped in the pool in the same state of undress and then casually approached the tables to pick fruit off charcuterie trays. It was amusing. Mom and dad were nonplussed. Brothers...).

Decades ago now, I posed for an art class at my university a few times, maybe just three. My female cousin was in one of the classes - that's how I knew they were offering decent money (for a college kid). Of course she'd seen me naked many times before and after puberty because, well, if you can't be naked visiting relatives, where can you be naked? A couple times she, my girlfriend (her roommate) and her girlfriends would also go to the "res" - what passed for a beach - with their boyfriends and then of course, most of us guys, drunk and rowdy after sunset, would find our way into the water for horseplay in underwear or naked depending on each of our confidence, nakedness, and drunkeness. Once or twice the ladies joined us but bra and panties were the order of the day for them IIRC. 

Nothing more lascivious than that, I'm still naked often, sometimes at a resort, k-spa, always in a hotel room (for some reason), but I sometimes wonder if I could scratch that itch posing for folks for this art school workshop. Or maybe at a college... because when I think about it, it might be hard to find willing bodies now that no one even dresses out for school sports anymore. 

I dunno. It wouldn't be for the money, so it might seem a bit creepy (I'm a decade older than my acquaintance and not quite the free spirit he is) that an old guy poses for shits and giggles.

Where do you live?

I'm aware of a number of figure drawing classes that engage a primarily gay/queer cohort of artists in NYC, including at least one that hosts remote modeling sessions. One of the best NYC ones hosts male models of all ages/shapes and another often includes more explicitly erotic poses/sequences. There are also private groups for more serious/experienced artists.

I'm also aware of at least one gay figure drawing group in LA and one in San Francisco, plus one based in the UK that hosts models from all over for artists that are as well. 

But, yes -- your local college maybe, and probably also your local arts society/council, but there might also be other opportunities in the gay communities near you...

Really? I may need to invent a business trip to the coasts. Of course, if I charge, the whole thing is a write off anyway... (I'm in Michigan.)

A grad student in college used my feet for a costume rendering model, but I was never asked to do more. I'm actually at the point where I'd have nothing to lose by posing nude- and students actually need to be able to draw and paint folds...
