jeezifonly Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This makes me so sad. I worked on a gala performance honoring his father in 2016 and got a moment backstage to thank him for his Marriage Equality advocacy. An artist and mensch who will be missed. SidewaysDM, samhexum, Whoisyourdaddy and 1 other 4
BSR Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago People, not exactly the gold standard in journalism, reports that both Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle have been murdered and that the killer is his son. The murder of two people is tragic. If the killer is indeed his son, that adds an order of magnitude to the tragedy that’s hard to wrap your head around. ICTJOCK Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Very tragic. I also read the story about the son. Troubling. Thoughts and prayers to their family. A real loss. SidewaysDM and thomas 2
samhexum Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago I found him fairly attractive when he was on ALL IN THE FAMILY and masturbated about Mike Stivic a few times. When I used to gather address listings for work I did his childhood building twice (the last one on the Grand Concourse {3324} on the opposite side as Yankee Stadium, right across from Penny Marshall's, which was the last one on the same side as the stadium). Fairly attractive? Really? Bozo was repulsed by Mike Stivic's pudgy face, balding head, Fu Manchu moustache, and stooped shoulders. That hair combover could only be described a disaster! His physical unattractiveness combined with his ungrateful, nasty attitude towards his father-in-law made him a very unappealing character on the Bozo scale of male pulchritude. As for the act of self-gratification that you described (which was TMI btw), Bozo would sooner have an orgasm fantasizing over a naked cousin Maude! BTC 🤡 Lotus-eater, caliguy and EZEtoGRU 2 1

EZEtoGRU Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago So Sad. I appreciated his advocacy for important causes as well as his film work. RIP. + MikeThomas Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Here's what James Woods, a conservative had to say on Rob Reiner's murder. Pitch perfect... "Rob and I remained good friends ever since we made GHOSTS OF MISSISSIPPI. The studio didn't think I was old enough to do the part, but Rob fought for me. Political differences never stood in the way of our love and respect for each other. I am devastated by this terrible event." And here's what Rob Reiner said about Charlie Kirk's murder... In an interview with Piers Morgan, Reiner said he felt “absolute horror” at how and why Kirk was killed. “That should never happen to anybody,” Reiner said. “I don’t care what your political beliefs are, that’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution to solving problems. And I felt like what his wife said at the service, at the memorial they had, was exactly right.” Reiner continued, “And, totally, I believe — you know, I’m Jewish — but I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and I believe in ‘Do unto others.’ And I believe in forgiveness. And what she said, to me, was beautiful and absolutely — you know — she forgave his assassin. And I think that that is admirable.” BSR, + Travis69, Whoisyourdaddy and 1 other 2 2

SidewaysDM Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I find the intellectual and differing perspectives on this forum really stimulating and interesting. Without being disrespectful to any members, please try and be supportive and kind to everyone who has been affected by the senseless murder of Rob and Michele Singer Reiner. Please let’s celebrate the fact that Rob Reiner was a constant and influential supporter for the LGBTQ community. Truly, my heart and prayers go out to their family and friends at this tragic time. + Travis69, samhexum, Nue2thegame and 3 others 3 1 2

Supported by his on screen wife, Archie’s screen daughter. Son-in-law. Not son. And lest we forget, it was Archie's home. Mike was living in Archie's house rent free for years while Archie was paying all of the expenses. There were references to Mike paying Archie back at some future time, though that never happened, at least not on screen. It was Mike who should have adapted to Archie, not the other way around. And Mike's attitude was anything but enlightened sunshine. BTC 🤡 Edited 4 hours ago by BOZO T CLOWN EZEtoGRU 1
BSR Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2 hours ago, Luv2play said: I thought it was Archie who had the nasty attitude and his onscreen son the enlightened sunshine attitude. Supported by his on screen wife, Archie’s screen daughter. Let’s remember that Archie Bunker’s offscreen son was Norman Lear, the show’s executive producer. Lear publicly acknowledged that the character of Archie Bunker was modeled after his real-life father Herman Lear. Of course Norman loved his father, but what surprised and deeply touched Lear was that as flawed as Archie was, America ended up loving his father.
