Rudynate Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I was ready to hire an angelic boy today and, at the last minute, he told me he worked for a pimp and his pimp would take care of payment and scheduling. I have never encountered this, and I realized probably nothing was going to happen between the boy and me, but chatted with the pimp nonetheless. His communication style instantly gave him away as a pretentious scumbag. He tried to make it sound like I was buying an insurance policy or executing some important legal document. I sat there telling myself "wait for it." Sure enough he said there would be an additional fee, that was more than the escort's fee, to indemnify the agency against injury to the escort, property damage, etc. and that it was "fully refundable" if none of the bad things happened. I told him it was all horseshit, which made him mad- declaring that he ran a perfectly legitimate escort service and resented my remarks. I just told him to apologize to the boy for me and that it wasn't his fault that he worked for a scumbag. It was like something out of TV. BTW the pimp goes by the name Jason Colt. + KensingtonHomo, + DrownedBoy and + Pensant 1 2
nate_sf Posted November 2 Posted November 2 It makes me wonder if the pimp and the escort were one and the same. In any case, super sketchy. I think they’re about 30 years too late with their fantasies of running an agency. + DrownedBoy, BSR, thomas and 1 other 2 2

I told him that as much as I would like to trust him, I didn't and nothing would change that. + Pensant, + Just Chuck, josh282282 and 1 other 1 1 2
+ Just Chuck Posted November 2 Posted November 2 The one time I suspect a pimp might have been involved was actually for a massage. I had set up the appointment with the number in the ad. From the parking lot, I texted “I’ve arrived” and got back “I’m ready. Come on up.” Then the young asian man who answered the door (a) looked nothing like the man in the ad and(b) was completely surprised by me being at the door. I said, “you just texted me that you’re ready and waiting.” He said, “that number is someone in Houston.” I don’t know if the guy I’d been texting with was a pimp or not, but he certainly might have been. The young man at the appointment tried to give a decent massage, but had no idea what he was doing.

It would be so nice just to do the actual appointments and not deal with bookings and payments and all that. But yeah, in this case, I'm thinking the 'Angelic Boy' doesn't really exist. + Pensant 1
+ PhileasFogg Posted November 2 Posted November 2 A pimp would be a hard stop for me. It makes me doubt whether or not the escort is working under compulsion and not as a consenting adult. Nue2thegame, jackcali, Nightowl and 6 others 7 2
Thelatin Posted November 2 Posted November 2 My guess is the “pimp” and the “escort” work together to shake people down. I’ve heard of this before on here. Johnrom 1
jackcali Posted November 3 Posted November 3 If a third person popped up in my hiring outreach, I would end discussions right there, as I'd be worried about the greater possibility of them being scammers or the possibility that the escort is not working voluntarily. That being said, I did once have a regular who, a month or more after our first meet, I realized couldn't read due (I think) to very bad and untreated dyslexia. He had a buddy who handled all his written communications. And, yes, I hear you all wondering, after I found that out, there was a threesome involved. + Pensant, + KensingtonHomo and + DrownedBoy 1 2
GentJ Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I'm curious: Are there actually any legit escort services these days? I figure if they do exist, someone on this forum must have done business with them.
maninsoma Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I'm pretty sure I hired a guy at least once whose appointments were being managed by someone else. I think it's important that we make a distinction between pimp (which, to me, indicates someone who is exploiting a sex worker who might not even be voluntarily doing the work, taking most of the money and giving just enough to the sex worker to survive) and someone who a sex worker might employ to make his life easier due to a variety of reasons (language issues, lacks organizational skills, simply doesn't want to put the time into fielding inquiries). In my case, I figured out a third party had been communicating with me after I arrived because the guy told me so and had such limited English language skills that I don't think he could have been the one texting with me. I went ahead with the appointment because nothing else seemed awry -- he certainly was a horny hunk who got down to business fast, and I didn't detect any discomfort from him except when I complimented him at the end of the session and he seemed a bit surprised that I found him so desirable. Medin Posted November 4 Posted November 4 The vast majority of the traveling Latin escorts are all working for an "agency". No idea if they all work for one pimp though. Start comparing their photo-shopped profiles and you'll see the same clothes, shoes, backgrounds, etc. Whoisyourdaddy 1

Since I have never encountered an escort being managed by a pimp before, I queried him closely about the relationship. He said he was the guy's employee and that the guy handled payments and scheduling, keeping a cut of everything the escort made. As I think about it, more and more about the arrangement was peculiar. I was going to do an incall and he told me he lived in Pacific Heights. Unless he actually meant lower Pacific Heights, it seems unlikely that he actually lived in Pacific Heights. HockeyMan Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Some Rent men profiles for traveling providers are managed by agencies. I've gotten replies from agents after messaging a provider. I've never followed up with any.

A couple of the guys I hired in Manila had a “manager.” The manager recruited the guys, set them up on RentMen (the photos were all well-done in the same style, ad text well-written, perfect English), handled all communications (when you contacted the escort via WhatsApp, it was actually the manager writing and replying to all texts), sometimes helped with transportation. I assume if things ever got hairy with a client, the manager would intervene. If a guy in the US ever asked me to deal with his “manager,” I’d run for the hills; but in the Philippines, I took it in stride. + Vegas_Millennial 1
