It's an interesting topic--the "premium" providers--the "instagram models". I've interacted with a few of them on behalf of clients trying arrange group stuff. They... don't seem like very nice people. It's hard for me to imagine the sex being very fun, no matter how chiseled their abs are. Am I wrong?

I may be new and inexperienced, but it seems to me that success in this business is having regulars. There's no need to have deposits for regulars. There's no need to pay for the RM Platinum plan (which is super pricey), if you have regulars. Is it just me, or do these guys not end up leaving their customers satisfied. From the outside, it looks like a revolving door of one-timers.

I probably said earlier that I'm not generally drawn to "premium" or "Instagram" providers. Putting aside that abs and such don't really appeal to me, I find that personality, charm, and "being game" makes for the best providers. The guys we see regularly are attractive but probably not "Instagram" models. We generally aim for 30s and 40s age-wise but have good experiences with some guys in their late 20s. The latter is hit or miss because we may not have much in common. But it's really HOW they handle their clients that makes us repeat clients. Are they responsive when we reach out? Are they considerate and communicative? Do they show up sober, energetic, and ready to play? Are they kind? Of course, there are exception but we tend to find those things to be true among providers who are a bit older and more seasoned.

I find this to be particularly true for the 20-24 age range guys for sure. Not all of them though, some of them are cool. But a lot of them, especially ones who found out about providing after having a social media and/or OnlyFans following definitely conduct themselves in this in a way that other providers don't. Their intent is to run through as many of us as they can to "get the bag up". They generally lack the "i'm a pleaser" and genuine care for the client having a good time aspect that a lot of providers also have in addition to the business acumen.

Obviously what us providers/clients do is a business relationship, but these Instagram/OnlyFans famous guys tend to not do a good job at creating the illusion that they're into the client or creating a friendly/sexy atmosphere. It's just "i have X zillion followers/subscribers, i'm hot, i'm here, and you can touch me/i'll touch you" and they think that's all they have to do.

In their defense though, i've seen some of them figure out that other piece of the puzzle after their first couple months at this. A couple annoyed clients and bad reviews and mingling with other providers has some of them learn a better way to do this and they do much better after that. But some of them don't figure that out (or actively choose to not be better) and i think those are the guys who get stuck with a revolving door of one-timers.

You learn fast. It’s 100% the route to sustainable success. Most months over 50% of my clients are returning clients.

There’s also truth in this in my experience. I’ve collaborated with quite a few of these ‘A list’ guys and whilst I wouldn’t say they’re not nice, they were perfectly friendly towards me but it was definitely a ‘performance’. That’s fine, it’s filming porn, you’re creating a fantasy and it’s perfectly possible to perform for the camera but I’d say if you’re hiring them then they’re probably not going to be doing much work to make you feel great. To some of these guys it’s simply enough to look amazing: they don’t think they need to do much for you.

Some people swear that McDonalds is their favorite restaurant too.

To each his own.

But I do agree that looks ALONE do not a good escort, make.

When I PAY for company, I want QUALITY. That means a balance between superior looks and personality. I always say, the hottest guy I ever had sex with was also the worst lay I ever had. So nice abs and a nice personality trumps a ripped-as-all-hell asshole.

I'm hoping to work my way up to at least ShakeShack! 🤣

But that's sort of what I'm saying about these Platinum guys... They're going for volume. They're definitely not The French Laundry.

Flakes suck. All of them.

Clients who flake? Suck.

Providers who flake? Also suck.

Snowflakes? Beautiful, but still technically flakes.

Let’s be clear: contrary to what seems to be the majority view, both clients and providers take losses when someone flakes, and neither side gets to declare their loss is greater by default. Loss is personal—it’s measured by the person who feels it. Time, money, energy, libido… all valuable currencies in this hobby.

I’ve never ghosted. Ever. But yes, I have cancelled—because after a provider moved the time three times over three hours, I realized I had aged a full decade waiting and still didn’t have a door number. At that point, what were we doing? We both lost—me an encounter, him a donation, and both of us a shot at something fun. Equal-opportunity disappointment.

Look, many great points have been made about how ghosting hurts providers—especially those who’ve prepped, traveled, or blocked out time. I totally agree. But the idea that providers are somehow immune to causing damage? Nope. When they fail to communicate, constantly reschedule, or underdeliver, they lose something too: goodwill. And in this world, goodwill is the glue that holds things together. (Well, goodwill… and lube.)

This hobby is a risk, plain and simple. No one walks into it bubble-wrapped and insured. Both parties can and do get burned. That’s exactly why flaking—on either side—needs to be treated like the venereal disease of behavior: preventable, irritating, and contagious if not handled.

If something comes up for a client (and I do mean comes up 👀), then at the very least, send the provider their fee. Don’t be that person. Be the kind of person you’d want to book.

Conversely… what should a provider do when they waste the client’s time? That’s the part where things get hazy—and honestly, it’s infuriating. It feels like when providers flake, the response is “Oh well, he’s probably tired.” When a client flakes? Out come the pitchforks.

And finally, as a Public Service Announcement to all the non-newbies who are warming up their fingers to pile on me for saying any of this:

Please know, I absolutely enjoy being at the bottom of a pile of moaning men.

(Just make sure you’re on time.)

Cheers and lube to all. 🥂

Oh, you're back. We thought someone had dropped a house on you.

I don't eat fast food. So when I EAT I want to YUMMY food that is well prepared and plated well.

If only you actually believed "to each his own," instead of insisting your penchant for hairless, 20-something twunks is the universal ideal of beauty. You're like those straight guys who couldn't believe women preferred the dad bod over the ripped bod.

It's the younger escorts who flake the most often. GenZ is practically unemployable in real jobs, and they manage to screw up this job as well.

Not understanding the importance of regulars is the main thing, I agree. Unbelievable how many arrogant brats tried to get on my good side....years after I hired and (unofficially) fired them.

I couldn’t have said it better. I have the same experience as you organizing groups for my clients. The porn stars, content creators, insta-gays, and similar types are often the worst hires, that is, if they show up at all. So flaky. Some won’t respond to a legit straightforward business inquiry, and others are too precious about basic details. These guys sure are beautiful on the outside, but make for lousy (and flaky!) providers.

My opinion is clients are better off enjoying these guys’ porn and saving their bigger dollars for experienced providers who take in-person work seriously, who actually care about making clients feel good. Some of them in this group will have chiseled abs and look like they are in their 20s, but they are a minority. You don’t always have to choose one or the other, but if you want a quality experience, a lot of the insta gay looking guys won’t fit the bill, or even show up at all!

I have been lucky enough to find regulars both locally and where I travel for work.  I have pretty much stopped sampling because of reasons spoken about on this thread.

I repeat with my regulars because they treat me great and every session I have with them gets better each time.  Trust, respect and comfort between the parties means a lot.

Here here!  When you find a good one whose company you enjoy and who treats you well, keep him!

Well I personally don't subscribe to the "I will fuck anything that moves" viewpoint, but I am aware that plenty of people's standards are appropriately low because they shop where they can afford to shop. But to me, if you're PAYING good money, you shouldn't be buying week old hamburger. Go for the Prime Rib.

Women don't "prefer" old-dad-bod unless old-dad has a thick wallet.

Back to the subject of flakes...there are always plenty of Instagram types who make plenty of money from their ONLYFANS account. I see no reason why they would even bother escorting, if they aren't going to provide a superior experience. I DO agree with you. Better to go with the more ordinary looking guy who goes out of his way to suck your dick than hire some beauty queen with attitude.

Just saying, I personally don't see the point of PAYING for "ordinary". Lots of damn good looking guys who ARE good at what they do. Just might take a little more time navigating and sorting through the losers.
