I have been very fortunate to have hired men that have never made me feel “less than,” but was wondering if any of you felt as though certain escorts or erotic masseurs seemed to really get off on an older, heavier clientele? I always assumed that the men I hired were just doing their job, making me feel desirable. But recently I have found an escort here in LA that genuinely likes much older guys, and if you are an overweight bear kinda guy, even better. And because of this, our encounters have been nothing less than incredible! You guys have any thoughts on this, and maybe suggest other guys that are into us old husky daddy bears?

And I guess I should have added that Orange County and Long Beach are acceptable for areas too, not just LA! Thanks guys!

The proof would be in their Grindr profile. If they are charging old-daddy-bears for sex...are they giving it away in their free time, or are they instead, hooking up with hot guys when they're off fhe clock ? A good escort makes you feel like you're totally their type, even when that's not true. So beware of believing the hype.

I actually really get off on serving bigger men and older men.

Very early in my escort life, I had a client in his 80’s.  I was admittedly a little unsure beforehand of how I’d react.  I’d always gotten off on age difference, playing with older guys, but this was extreme even for me.  Come to find out, this guy was one of my hottest experiences.  The gravitas he brought, and the breadth of life experience, made for a really intense sex appeal.  I still actively hope I maintain his level of sex appeal when I’m his age.   Ever since, I’ve actively pursued every opportunity I could to play with senior seniors.

As for the bear aspect?   That wasn’t such a discovery.  I’ve ALWAYS been into big guys.  All the more to explore.  More places to bury your face.  😈

I really believe you shouldn’t have any problem finding providers who are genuinely into daddy bears and grandpa bears.

And please holler if you’re ever in NYC!  👋🏻 😏

If youre doing escorting you have to come to the fact that youre going to have clients in all types of ages and body types. Glad to hear that you havent came across anyone who is judgey, ive heard so many horror stories about clients being turned away after sending stats or pictures which is ridiculous! As for me ive always been attacted to older bears, When I was 21 by bf at the time was 28 (I thought was a much older at the time haha) and now im 32 and my current bf is 42 which is very much a bear. Im actaully afraid when I get to age 40 my attractionpool will start to dwindle haha. I very much prefer older clients as they are much more mature, sweet, and know exactly what they want!

Exactly!

Many escorts treat themselves when they are done with "work ".

It takes some acting being able to esort.

Age and body type don’t matter (obviously they need to be over 21) to good escorts / masseurs. Those who decline clients who don’t fit their ideal are not proper sex workers. They’re just monetising their sex life. It’s a very different thing and as a client you’ll notice the difference.

I have never met one that does not like a nice daddy!

The ones that do not, usually ghost you after they read your profile or when you tell them your age!  Cannot blame them for that!

Different strokes for different folks!

It usually works very well for all involved!

As a mature bear chub I haven’t experienced any problems hiring; I’ve been lucky in that I have had the pleasure to engage with providers who seem to genuinely enjoy my big belly and fat a**. Either that or they are very good actors. Either way, I’m a satisfied customer. I’ve never been turned down outright but I have been told, “Oh, sorry! I’m fully booked on those days,” or they ghost me. And that’s all right; I don’t take it personally. As for recommendations, GingerViking in SFO is at the top of my list; I met up with him in PV (I was on a cruise) and I’ll bet that MY “shore excursion” was much more fun that some of the others!

Same here.  Our body types sound similar!  I have had wonderful experiences with some very hot guys in their early to mid 20s and unless they are really good actors, I also feel they are having as good a time as I am.  Whatever the case, I just enjoy.  I have 2 that always reach out to me first to see when they can see me again.

Hmmmm...That particular carve out just doesn't appear in any of the statements from Wikipedia, National Harm Reduction Coalition, American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International USA, The Sex Workers Project, Human Rights Campaign, and the National Network Of Sex Workers on what a "proper" sex worker is.

In fact with all their statements on risk reduction, empowerment, self-determination, codification of tights, and unionization, it seems that all these organizations favor the idea that "proper" sex workers have more power and control in the choices they make concerning what they will and will not do and with who they do them.

I am sorry that all of our feelings get hurt when we get rejected. But rather than blaming the other person, could we possibly flip the explanation to recognize ta least some culpability ourseves? Maybe we are not always "proper" mature adults, that we are not as resilient as we might be as a "proper" adult, that we need to accept that we can't control so many, many things in our everyday lives but our lack of control is not simply because someone else is doing something wrong.

That’s a fair and well-cited counterpoint—but I think you may have missed the spirit of what was being said by @Jamie21

No one’s suggesting sex workers should lose agency, or be forced to accept every client regardless of comfort or preference. Of course empowerment and boundaries matter. But there’s also a distinction worth exploring between professionalism and preference-driven selectivity.

When someone positions themselves as a sex worker but only engages clients who meet their personal taste, it does start to resemble monetized dating more than labor. And for clients—especially those older or with non-normative bodies—it’s easy to spot when you’re being evaluated as a desirable conquest versus respected as a paying client.

It’s not about entitlement. It’s about clarity. If a worker is curating clients for attraction, that’s their right—but let’s not confuse that with what many consider professional sex work, which historically was about providing a service, not auditioning partners.

Empowerment includes transparency. And rejection isn’t the issue—the framing is.

Yes, framing is indeed the issue! And you have framed it such that the client's sense of entitlement is invisible to you.  Restaurants, physicians, stores, attorneys, and all sorts of professionals regularly refuse clients/customers entirely or just certain specific requests all the time. "No shirts or sneakers = no service" Boy! That one causes teenagers' sense of entitlement to skyrocket, and feel that no "proper" sensible store in a beach town would do that when so many are just  in bathing suits.

Please find any of the human rights organizations who deal specifically with the social and economic ecology of sex workers (Listed above) who frame the power dichotomy as "the client is always right," "whatever happens, don't hurt the client's feelings." and the provider should just do what the client says. You won't find it, they neither carve out a category of "proper" sex workers and simply are not concerned with the hurt feelings of clients over the rights of providers.

I could not have expressed that better. Thank you. I choose my clients, that’s clear to me by the way I advertise, how I price my services and how I respond to enquiries. I have agency over all of those things. I also have agency about whether or not to do the work and that permits me the power to disregard body type and age.

Interesting links, but flooding the zone with pedantry isn’t really helpful in considerations of agency.

@Bruciej- who are the escorts here in LA that you have found to be good with older guys?
