maninsoma Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Hiring a masseur or escort isn't like dining out. The masseur or escort is getting your full fee, so it he provides a sub-par experience there's absolutely no reason to pay him extra. At a restaurant, it very well might not be the server's fault that you received a sub-par experience. Maybe you were simply disappointed with the food or ambience of the place. I wouldn't penalize a server because I didn't like things beyond their control; I just wouldn't return to that restaurant. pubic_assistance, big-n-tall, musclestuduws and 4 others 1 5 1
Ali Gator Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Absolutely nothing. The provider has set his rate at $300 and should give you a great experience for that price. Why would you tip him for poor service ? Whippoorwill, + ApexNomad, Yukon21 and 8 others 1 8 2
BrooklynIrish Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I only tip for exceptional service. Whippoorwill and pubic_assistance 1 1
Oakman Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Stop tipping unless you are blown away by the service and want to be sure the guy knows you appreciate him and that you want to book him again. A “tip” for providers is a compliment for a job well done. Providers set their own wages. Whippoorwill, + Vegas_Millennial, + Pensant and 6 others 1 8
AtticusBK Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Yeah - totally disagree with that. Definitely do not tip for subpar, but DO tip accordingly for good, great, exceptional service. Yukon21, pubic_assistance, bjntpa and 1 other 1 2 1
amused1 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 While I never tip for sub par I may tip a traveling provider who I hope will return to my area as encouragement. Yukon21 and Luv2play 1 1
soloyo215 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Nothing. Tips are earned (at least that tip). Luv2play, Whippoorwill and + Vegas_Millennial 1 2
rvwnsd Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I generally do not tip. Period. The rare exceptions are when a provider goes far above and beyond. MikeBiDude, + Pensant, Yukon21 and 2 others 2 3
+ DrownedBoy Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I don't tip either (EDIT except for a certain bodybuilder who massively exceeded expectations). And if you do tip, don't make it obvious. Edited March 14 by DrownedBoy
jawjateck Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Subpar, disappointing, going through the motions, just getting the job done, average, etc = no tip + JamesB, Yukon21, musclestuduws and 1 other 1 3
+ nycman Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I recently had a "very nice" experience with a provider. When I tipped him well at the end of the session he said "I guess I should have asked for more". I kindly told him that I wouldn’t have taken the risk at a higher rate (it was a fair rate, not high, not low). The base rate is just that. The rate I’m willing to risk for an "ok" meet up. I tend to tip generously for escorts I enjoy my time with, and I have no problem not tipping sub-par or "just adequate" performances. If I don’t tip, you can be 100% sure I’m not planning on hiring you at any time in the future. AtticusBK and Rod Hagen 2

He should have just accepted your nice tip with an expression of gratitude. LookingAround 1
