This actor looks hung!  Hopefully the criminal of this thread is hung as well. 🪢

(Or injected, or gas chamber, etc.)

Don't worry - the mass murderer here was already gunned down last December.

Since NY dropped the capital charges, it will be near impossible for the Feds to get a capital "terrorism" conviction.

I estimate he'll get 10 to 20 years and will be out early. He'll spend those years replying to fan mail, and after America finally adopts decent comprehensive health care, he'll probably write a book and appear on talk shows after his release.

I personally think he's a nepo baby brat who was trying to make a name for himself, and he had no prerogative to commit that crime (if UHC killed a loved one or hurt him, he would have a prerogative). But that's how the system works, and history is written by people of certain political persuasions.

Such a short amount of time for a premeditated murder? I doubt it!

His fans would eventually move on while people will continue to be denied healthcare because of preexisting conditions, etc.

I have a feeling some in this forum will celebrate his execution... again, his fans will move on.

NY only has a second degree murder charge left against him. That might get him 15 years.

NY State also has 8 weapons and forgery counts against Mangione, although granted, those charges are far less serious.  While 2nd degree homicide normally gets a sentence of 15-25 years, the maximum is life without parole.  Apparently judges issue that sentence often in high-profile cases.

Luigi also faces federal charges, the most serious of which is murder through the use of a firearm, which can get the death penalty.

That's because the current Executive insisted the current Attorney General seek the death penalty in all cases, in an attempt to create a tough on crime image. That's political, and the defense attorney has entered that into the record.

After the types of "criminal charges" issued by the Attorney General during the past two months, and especially last week, it's extremely doubtful that a NYC jury will unanimously take any of them seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if they have to be dropped beforehand, or if the judge simply decides the DOJ is no longer trustworthy enough to even listen to.

He'll probably get 15 to 20 years due to mitigating factors and biases that jurors have (even if unconsciously), he'll be a "model prisoner" and get out within 10, and end up a celebrity as the American health care system starts being reformed. The brat will get what he wanted all along.

You know, there's gay men in prison too.

  • Incarceration rates:
According to one study, gay and bisexual men in prison and jail populations make up about 3.3% to 5.5% of incarcerated men, which is similar to their estimated percentage in the general U.S. population. However, lesbian and bisexual women are significantly overrepresented in the prison and jail populations.
