Ali Gator Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 I've noticed on the different RM sites that there are so many different approaches for providers attracting new clients. What makes an ad stand out to you that you want to pick up the phone and make arrangements ? For me, it's a few things: 1. A variety of different updated pictures. I don't want to see a bunch of selfies taken in a bathroom mirror from 2020 with a towel around you in every shot, in which the cell phone is actually blocking part of the guy's face (whether by accident or design). Current photos with face shots (or say you will send face shots in a dm) and current photos of your body. If you say you're hairy, don't share photos of a shaved / smooth body from four years ago. Optics is everything. If you're a masseur who doesn't offer nude massage, please don't tempt us with very revealing semi-nude shots. (It has happened to me many times - the photos leave nothing to the imagination as they are holding a small towel to cover their cock, but they seem offended if I ask if they are nude for the massage or offer erotic, reminding me this is therapeutic only). 2. Everyone 'age shaves' but let's face it - a provider can't be the magical '29' forever. Twice in the past month I've been with two escorts well into their 40s and both advertised as early 30s. Hopefully, men are hiring you for your appearance and your skills and experience - not for your age. If they find your photos sexy - you're sexy at 45, so you don't have to be 32. 3. STOP with the 'Ask Me' for pricing. Your pricing should not fluctuate like the stock market. More often than not, I find when I inquire about a price for 'Ask Me', I find the provider has priced himself above market price. I've gotten to the point where I skip over those providers these days. 4. Say where you're located in your ad, especially if you're targeting a big area. For example, if you are listing 'Boston, MA' but actually staying in Foxboro, MA or New Bedford, MA - please say so. It makes decision making much easier, depending on where the client is coming from. If you are staying in Boston, say what neighborhood you are staying in - again, helps with the decision making (as some areas are much more difficult to find parking than others). These are just my thoughts...😀 pubic_assistance, + ApexNomad, + Kevin Eagle and 7 others 4 6

If you are staying in Boston, say what neighborhood you are staying in - again, helps with the decision making (as some areas are much more difficult to find parking than others). These are just my thoughts...😀 For me, it boils down to: 1. Current Photos: I really appreciate seeing up-to-date photos. If you say you’re hairy, don’t show me old photos of a smooth body. (I don’t mind either way, but transparency is key.) Attention to detail between the ad copy and photos speaks volumes. And photos standing in front of a toilet? Please no. 2. Answer the Category Fields: I find it frustrating when providers use “Ask Me” in category boxes like orientation, position, and safe/BB. Just state your preferences directly! This clarity helps potential clients understand what you offer, prevents assumptions and saves time. 3. Expectations for First-Time Clients: It’s helpful when providers specify what they expect from NEW clients. Whether it’s out-call only, photo a must, or phone chat, clearly stating this upfront saves everyone time and aids decision-making. 4. A Sense of Humor: While not essential, a little humor in the ad copy can go a long way. It adds personality and makes the ad feel more inviting. That said, humor is subjective, so it’s not a dealbreaker. 5. Clear Purpose: I appreciate when providers express a clear sense of purpose in their offerings. For example, saying something like, “I’m a caring top who derives pleasure from seeing you pleased. Mild to wild, I’m thoughtful and sincere in creating a safe space for you,” gives me a better sense of the type of person I’m contacting. Whippoorwill Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 - A small, curated set of recent photos ( I don't need to see 20 shots of you taken the same day in the same place) that give a well-rounded sense of your features. - Photos taken by someone else, not selfies. I want to know there is at least one other person in the world who knows how you earn a living. - Photos appropriate to the level of services you are offering (level of dress, pose, etc.) - Smiling photos...this is supposed to be fun. - A well written write up that gives me a sense of who you are and how the session will go – including correct grammar, spelling, punctuation. And if you are a recent arrival and not a native English speaker, that you have had some help from someone who is. - Any specialities you think you have that sets you apart (physical and services/styles). - Any limitations, preferences as to clients. - Age stated should be beliveable when we meet. - Price for the services described in your write-up. - Mapped location that is accurate to the neighborhood where you are located. - A number of excellent reviews appropriate to the length of time you say you have been in the biz. - No snippy replies to any bad reviews. In short, does the ad give me confidence that you will be who you portray yourself to be and that I can expect the level of services you described for the price you quote? That is, when I leave will we both be happy? Johnrom, pubic_assistance, + claym and 6 others 8 1
Saabster Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 These are all great. I would add having a consistent look across their photos. Having a beard in one, and being clean shaven in another, or blond hair in one and brunette in another, etc, are all turn-offs that make me stop and wonder which is one is most accurate. pubic_assistance, Whippoorwill, Ali Gator and 3 others 2 4

ShortCutie7 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 In addition to what everyone else has mentioned, it’s important that he doesn’t have every “into” selected, as it shows that he put thought into what is or is not selected- for example, I’m less likely to contact a guy who has “PNP” and “fisting” selected, and more likely to select a guy who has “kissing” selected. But more importantly, as I wrote in another recent thread: One of the main elements I look for when I peruse an escort’s profile is if I can tell WHY he escorts. If he seems like he does it because he can make a lot of money or is desperate to make ends meet? Wrong reason. If he seems like he does it as a favor to those less hot than him? Wrong reason. If he seems like he does it because he genuinely loves sex and making others happy? Right reason! White Daddy Top, + KensingtonHomo, + Just Chuck and 3 others 6

BuffaloKyle Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 I echo much of what has been said. I also am more drawn towards ads with videos. They don't have to be elaborate videos just one maybe showing off a provider's body and I especially like when a provider posts one saying a quick hello. Both can give a nice look and feel right off the bat for someone. + glennnnn, + claym, moonlight and 4 others 6 1
soloyo215 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Pictures that are current. A reasonable amount of pictures (one or two pictures, sometimes not even showing face doesn't cut it. I definitely agree with the "Ask" thing. Looking at the profile is asking. Applies to everything, not just pricing. Clarity in the description, doesn't look like a copy/paste from a wellness website. Consistency in the description, baffles me to see contradictory statements in the same profile. I don't mind age shaving for as long as it's not excessive (as per my own definition of excessive). Rules instead of boundaries. I am looking for a provider, not applying for a master's degree. Compatible with my taste and preferences in roles, look, what they are into. Gay as his sexual orientation. "Straight" is off-putting to me. Whippoorwill and + glennnnn 2
+ Tarte Gogo Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Cute face clearly visible in pics or even better in a video, and a provider that states that he loves kissing. Giving the price is a definite plus. + glennnnn, Whippoorwill, Moke and 3 others 5 1
Ali Gator Posted November 3, 2024 Author Posted November 3, 2024 One more thing on age-shaving... If you're a provider, look at the photos you selected (most likely, you have them on your phone). Then show someone you trust to tell the truth and ask them if you look 29 in the selected photos (or whatever age you're pretending to be). Most likely, they will say no if they're honest. So then ask them how young they think you can get away with in the photo (and you can easily say its for a dating site, and not tell the truth if they won't be comfortable with knowing). Currently there is a provider who is advertising as early 30s, when he is 20 years older than that. Hh hasn't changed his photos since I first met him 20 years ago - when he was 30. + DynamicUno Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 It's rare for a RM provider to post a video where they say anything, it's usually just stand and model clips with no talking or various action scenes. I appreciate a short clip where they say hello and let you hear their voice and I wish more did that. + glennnnn, + KensingtonHomo and Whippoorwill 1 1 1
Thelatin Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 I typically stalk for quite a while and watch travel patterns. NYXboy Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Agree with most of the above just thought I would mention @Ali Gator as it appears you may be unaware - If you are looking at Rentmen from USA, without using a VPN it will not show prices, and will just list 'Ask Me'. quite annoying, but I use a VPN whenever I am browsing to circumvent this restriction- it also allows to actually read the comments listed on the reviews also (as these are also blocked if you are viewing from USA)

viewing ownly Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Major "sold!" sayings by men I'm attracted to see is when they put "All body types welcome, any over 18 ages welcome. I'll be fresh and clean, so you be as well. Positive energy here, so bring the same." I've found this to be completely spot-on with these guys, and have had the best times with them. Whenever someone puts "discounts for attractive men", or something abrasive, I don't believe they're interested in any actual meet-ups but are merely using it as a tool to promote themselves, eating the cost. I don't think they have the option even if they use a VPN. Older ads that were set up before rates and reviews were blocked in the US may still have rates set which is visible when the ad is viewed from outside of the US. mike carey and Ali Gator 2
