If you have ever thought about finding a new firm -- to get a salary bump, or because something annoys you at work -- look for a new firm and get hired there.  THEN you can hire this super hot lawyer escort 😈

I'tll probably be less expenseive than hiring him as an lawyer. :)

I was about to post why does a lawyer need a side gig as an escort but there was that judge who was doing onlyfans so anything is possible. 🤣

I’m surprised that a BigLaw associate has time to escort. Associates have to churn out billable hours to have any chance to make partner or even go in-house somewhere. If they don't produce, they’re quickly tossed out.

In the past 10 years I have hired 2 medical doctors and 1 lawyer.  All have successful professional practices and are also very popular escorts.   I think Forum members might be surprised by those professionals who escort as a side gig.   As a side note, there are countless extremely popular escorts who have lengthy rap sheets. But that’s a topic for another thread.

Often thought that a 2nd life for an escort/stripper could be nursing. Pay is pretty decent, and their people skills would surprisingly crossover in all types of interactions between patients, their family members, and doctors.  The bedside experience would likely improve.  Completely serious in this. The medical field could use some professionals experienced in making people feel at ease.  Tho yes, double entendres abound.

As for the poster, yeah, you keep it to yourself. No good will come from any disclosure from your lips.

Hi! I am a young paralegal who works at the same big firm as the original poster. A week or so ago, he told me he thought it would be funny if he posted on Company of Men that there is a lawyer at our firm who hooks on the side. He said he would use the phrase "Not gonna lie" to make everyone think he was telling the truth and he would say that is lawyer is "attractive AF." Then he would say that he wanted to hire the lawyer as an escort--and then say that he understood it would be completely inappropriate and maybe he should just pay for videos and sexy pics. He told me he would end the post with an "lol" to make it seem like he was 20something, which he is NOT.

What should I do? Thanks!

Signed,

NotGonnaLie

"lol" makes one sound like a 35-year-old woman.

I know of two lawyers, one engineer, one pharmacist and one accountant who were or are now escorts.  While I think this is probably a click bait posting, I would tell the paralegal that if there is no reason for you to actually know this lawyer then go ahead and hire him if you like.  You can feign ignorance if comes to pass and if you are not intending to do him harm there will not likely be consequences after all, he is the one escorting so not likely to be the one going to HR.

I'd probably go more along with -don't use the restroom where you work-unless we are actually talking about needing to use the restroom and not hiring.

He’s probably providing pro bono services to one of the partners, which will protect him should his billable hours be lacking.

I know an escort who went to law school and graduated. I don't know what his status is regarding the Bar exam.

It's certainly the perfect job to put yourself through school.

I personally someone who was disbarred from a US state bar. Isn't this grounds for disbarment?

Prostitution is certainly illegal but getting caught is difficult.

I feel sorry for him and what happened to him.

I don't know much about the law, but Elliot Spitzer was not only attorney general and governor, he got caught buying escorts, and I don't think he lost his law license. At least I never heard that he did. I read somewhere, to get disbarred, you need to be charged.
