acaressandakiss
Going to NYC and thinking of hiring a provider. I will be staying with a friend so I would need to book a hotel for an outcall. Still haven’t decided if I will do out call or in call. In any case, if I do decide to do an outcall are there any favorite hotels you guys have in the city. + BenjaminNicholas
DayUse.com and other sites alike are something you should consider. NYC is all about where your escort is based. Is he coming from the boroughs? Uptown/Midtown/Downtown? Try to get a hotel that's easy for you both. pubic_assistance, + robear, acaressandakiss and 3 others 2 3

NYC is expensive and often requires young men to have room mates and/or live in neighborhoods way out in the boroughs. Typically most guys who host in Manhattan are traveling themselves and renting their own hotel. A few will be found living in shabby walk ups in Hell Kitchen or the Lower East Side (also shabby). There's a rotating group of masseur/escorts who use a beautiful apartment in Hudson Yards but none of them are worth their asking price. For your own comfort and security stick to hosting at a hotel of your choice. Your Man in Arlington

I was able to host in Tribeca or Midtown (two different hotels), but all 5 providers happen to be able to host at their places in Manhattan (Chelsea, East Village, Murray Hill, and Upper West Side). Because I was playing tourist, I didn't mind traveling to them using the subway. It forced me to visit some neighbors I otherwise would not have seen. SouthOfTheBorder
4 hours ago, acaressandakiss said: any favorite hotels you guys have in the city. I live in Manhattan and frequently use hotels for dates. I prefer the Michelangelo Hotel on 51st & 7th. Huge rooms by NY standards & the hotel is big enough that there is relative anonymity coming & going. Easy subway access and Hells Kitchen adjacent. If not there, then definitely on the Westside above 40th and below 58th. Yes on dayuse.com - great options & reasonable rates. + azdr0710, pubic_assistance and BonVivant

Can confirm. The toughest part of Manhattan living right now is the 40x rent income rule. More landlords are holding firm on it, which makes qualifying to rent difficult if you don't have a good salary with verifiable, history-documented income. This often leads to 5 people in a 2br with at least two of them as subleases or roommate agreements. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere, indeed. pubic_assistance
jackcali
Another thumbs-up for dayuse.com. You can get a room for four hours in a three-star hotel for less than $100; a four-star will cost you a little more. Lots of options on location, and the selection is much, much better than the filthy by-the-hour places from the old days. And, in terms of hosting, a lot depends on the age of the provider. The older ones are generally more established and have a place of their own. The young ones tend to share shabby (good word, public_assistance) walk-up apartments in dodgy neighborhoods, and they all seem to live on the top floor of those walk-ups. As I get older, climbing the stairs is taking as much out of me as the session. Marc in Calif, MikeBiDude, claym and 3 others 4

They were all in their 30s to 40s. Two had basement studios in Chelsea. Two were one bedroom several flights walk-up. One was a one bedroom, with probably one roommate/boyfriend. DWnyc
Once met a visiting provider in nyc who surprisingly was hosting at an apartment. he had an air Mattress in a tiny living room ( carved out of a studio) and his host was a provider I randomly turned down earlier (without knowing their connection) … because he said “my friend and his bf are visiting and may be here” and also tried to upsell a double / triple deal. The porn version of this story has a group scene with the host, his bf, my providers bf, the provider, and me all on the air mattress. The reality show has a lot of passive aggressive coming and going and slammed doors in the rest of the tiny apartment - they had all worked out it was me speaking to both providers during the day. My provider even asked me to give the donation to the host as he owed him “rent money” so there was this symbolic game they made me play of ultimately paying the provider I turned down. My other ridiculous NY accommodation story had me going to the restroom about 40 mins into a session and being warned “oh my roommate is in there, it’s raining so he stayed indoors … just ignore hkm” Edited February 28 by DWnyc Your Man in Arlington, pubic_assistance, + nycman and 2 others 2
BananaBagel
The Milennium hotel is a bit worn but has an easy Times Square location and comfortable rooms. Key required in the elevator but it’s busy enough that it isn’t hard for a visitor to slip into an elevator. In the low tourist season, rooms on Hotel Tonight were lower than Day Use but that time is about over I think. I often see the Aliz on DayUse. Has anyone tried that? pubic_assistance
