  1. I was getting a massage recently. The masseur knows Jose_ok personally, and I mentioned that I would try to hire him soon. This masseur knows that I like massage for relaxation; extra deep (which is what Jose_ok is known for) is not my thing. He paused and said, “Ohhhhhhhh… you want the BABY ARM experience.” 😂
  2. I’m in awe that @Vegas_Millennial does his own taxes. I think mine was about 80 pages long this year. F that. Having someone else do it is sort of like hiring a world class provider: worth it, at ANY price.
  3. Cloudy is usually a term referencing smoking crystal meth. Next.
  4. Although he tends toward dom-sub interaction, he’s actually really down to earth, so BFE seems very possible. I enjoy the afterglow time with him just as much as the rough and tumble part; it feels intimate. Engaged, handsome, super masculine, not a clock watcher, reliable. The list goes on and on. (I’ve been seeing him for quite a few years.)
  5. Opus 40 is art. It is grand in scale and beautiful to behold. It’s also not that well known outside of NY, so I believe it’s underrated. How bizarre that you feel the need to dismiss it by disparaging groups of people with clearly political statements.
  6. New York Overrated, Fire Island and the Hamptons. Underrated, Opus 40, near Woodstock. Never heard of it? Yea… underrated.
  7. Critics loved that movie but disparaged the final scene. I say, that scene was the catharsis that we survivors needed, and I don’t give a fk if it was manipulative. I found it profound and heart breaking.
  8. I am negative and on Prep and I *never* list my status as such. I simply put negative. If I say that I am on prep, many (most) people automatically assume I’m willing to bareback, which is inaccurate. In my experience , saying I’m on prep also tends to attract higher risk people. At least in the hook up world. I imagine the calculus is quite different for a provider, who has to take business considerations into account.
  9. I don’t know. But he seems to be aging well. The pictures showing an iPhone with 3 cameras are at maximum 4 years old. There were no iPhones with 3 cameras before that.
  10. Run, don’t walk, to an Apple Store and try it out. Although it’s got a long, long way to go, it’s still mind blowing. Looking around at the moon as if you are actually there is itself worth the effort. Then there’s seeing a movie as though you’re in a theater, experiencing a 3D video as if you’re in the scene, and the possibilities of having virtual computer desktops of unlimited number, specific to the location where you leave them. My guess is that it will be at least 10 years before any broad adoption of this tech. Can’t wait.
  11. Are you willing to rescind the review if he tries to make it up to you? If no, then it’s best not to engage. I think you had two good experiences with him prior (an assumption on my part, based on another thread). That suggests you enjoyed the experiences since you were willing to repeat. So… give him a chance to make it right? Caveat, if you said ahead of time “no drugs” and that was the reason for the negative experience, walk away. Just my opinion of course. Whatever you do, trust what your gut is telling you.
  12. Thats a bit cynical. Oprah is a billionaire. She doesn’t need more money, and has explicitly stated that money is not a main motivating factor for her. Oprah promotes many things. She’s in the business of promoting things. She tries to pick things that she feels can help people. Weight Watchers was an example. Now there’s something new that has helped her and she’s talking about that. By the way in answer to what she has given away, about 20% ($400M) of her net worth. Can anyone here say that they’ve given away 20% of everything? Gifting to providers doesn’t count. 😂
  13. Good idea? Terrible idea? Gee what could possibly go wrong? Self-Service for Airport Security? It’s Happening in Las Vegas. At security lanes at Harry Reid International Airport, travelers with PreCheck clearance can test a new self-service screening process with remote T.S.A. agents and video monitors. (Article is paywalled. NY Times)
  14. As mentioned above be sure to check income limitations. Bear in mind that if you execute a backdoor Roth and then cross the income limits in that same year, you will have a tax nightmare to deal with. Doing something like selling a piece of real estate can cause that (as happened to a family member of mine), or getting an unexpected raise (as happened to me). Congress came close to closing the backdoor Roth loophole not long ago. It violates the spirit of the Roth’s purpose. I won’t be surprised if they do succeed in stopping the backdoor Roth in the near future.
  15. Yet somehow people manage to indicate drug use with impunity. Sure it will block you from putting certain words in your profile. But lots of people still use coded language. Why is hiring any different?
  16. The assumption is that the final price includes everything that went into creating the product. I’d argue that’s not so, in this case, because a self employed masseur has to compete with the spas. This can keep the price suppressed even though he has extra expenses like self employment tax (that’s 8% right off the top, assuming he claims the income). Sometimes prices are so high that everything does seem baked in though. I agree that it can make me feel reluctant to tip in that scenario. I hope we get to hear from OP on how he will proceed. No right or wrong here!
  17. The Hours was underwhelming IMO, except for DiDonato. A triumph of marketing though, which opera sorely needs. Radvanovsky as the three Tudor queens perhaps? But then, I’m partial to her voice, since it’s one of the few that can really shine at a venue as large as the Met. She has sent chills down my spine before. Fleming in Rosenkavalier was perfection.
  18. Only one third? I’m genuinely surprised. Thanks.
  19. @MmM and others who tip at a spa but not for a private masseur… serious question, not trying to attack you or be a hater. I agree each person can do what works for them. My question: Does this mean you would never tip a provider for escort services when it’s an in call? After all, they are self employed as well. In my mind a tip means “thanks, that was good,” full stop. I don’t really understand the rationale of not tipping based on where the service happens. Not that your approach is wrong of course, since tipping is optional anyway. A masseur who has a private business out of their place has gone to more trouble than a spa employee: setting up a website or online booking service, dedicating a space in their home to the activity, having a table, having to deal with the dirty towels, etc. Sure, they don’t have to give a cut to the house but that’s because they went to some extra effort. Don’t they deserve a tip if the experience itself was good, just like a spa employee?
  20. I found it impossible to enjoy bottoming until my early 30s. Believe me I tried. I wanted to know what the big deal was. Bodies change, yours can too. If you are able to enjoy it in a self-love session, you can learn to enjoy it with a guy. My suggestion, get a smallish plug. Leave it in for an extended period (an hour or so). Do this on a regular basis. Eventually you learn to get much more comfortable with the sensation, so it helps to relax oneself, both physically and mentally, so that a cock is possible. And poppers. Lots of poppers.
  21. I keep it simple. 20% of the rate. More if he went overtime and didn’t charge me for it, which does happen sometimes.
  22. I get where you’re coming from, but off the top of my head… Guys who are serious about the gym often like strict routines. It’s how they achieve amazing results. Some even see the gym as a job, it’s part of the work that enables them to be successful in everything else, including escorting. Maybe he has a trainer booked and can’t reschedule every time a possible client expresses interest. Or he has enough clients already, so doesn’t need to upset his routine to take an extra one. Not everyone wants to maximize.

That’s odd. What did you say you wanted to do? Cuddle the whole time? 😜
  24. There’s a very common reason for it that you haven’t mentioned. A resting face looks much younger than a smiling one. Minimized crows feet, marionette lines, bags under the eyes, etc.
