  1. It’s getting harder and harder to fast forward through these things. They have figured out how to prevent it. I currently have 4 pending trainings (2hours worth), all of which I’ve completed before, and will teach me nothing new. Recently they introduced a new one: how to be a good colleague at social gatherings. My feeling is that every time my company gets sued, the settlement involves them agreeing to institute some training. It gets old.
  2. I once had a (very hot) Dom provider command me to say “I love you” in the middle of fucking me. It caught me by surprise. I think he was trying to get me to loosen up because he knew of my deep affection for him (I had been going to him for several years). So I said it. And I said it again. And again. It became a fun part of the fantasy. I’m a bit honored that he asked me (told me) to say it, if I’m honest.
  3. Look up the song “Mystical Magical.” There’s a 99% chance you’ve heard it, even if you don’t actively listen to music. It was absolutely ubiquitous in pop culture for a while.
  4. The problem with engaging on Rentmen for something like this is that it’s difficult to negotiate the terms of the scene. Consent can get blurred since there’s a transactional element. This is one of those scenarios where you want the provider to actually be into it, not just putting on a show for the client. Otherwise it would be quite easy to cross the line. I strongly prefer to keep my dom activities as less complicated hook ups, non-paid.
  5. That strikes me as a specious argument. We wanted the same rights as others, so that means there should be no hotline to deal with gay issues, suicide or otherwise? If a deeply closeted gay teen is contemplating suicide because of shame regarding his sexuality, doesn’t it make sense that he would be more willing or likely to get help from someone he views as having a similar experience? Hence the gay suicide hotline. When you’re scared to death that someone will find out, the only person you want to tell is someone else who is gay. That’s my view at least, from someone who grew up in the Bible Belt, and was constantly told that I was going to Hell.

He blocked me on Rentmen and I’ve never even chatted with him. Oh well, next.
  7. There are numerous ways providers try to convey a bad boy image. This just happens to be one of the more hackneyed. For me, It gets a mild eye roll, but wouldn’t be a deciding factor.
  8. I have little idea how much money I spend and on what. It’s a bit all over the map. Knowing my income requirements is essential for retirement planning, so I’m trying Copilot Money, which is app based. It has been ok but not great. The graphs look nice, but it doesn’t arrange the information in ways that I find very useful. How do others here track expenses? A favorite app? Spreadsheets? Do you even have a budget? I’m interested in trying Monarch Money app, so if anyone has tried it, please speak up. The threads I’ve found online regarding these apps are clearly marketing driven, or administered by the companies themselves.
  9. I paid several thousand dollars for my spouse to do it and the results were very minimal. He just wanted a bit of sculpting, he’s not really that heavy. But even his modest goals weren’t achieved. I think he did about 6 sessions, but it might have been more. I tried the similar version of this that is laser based. It was a total disaster. A ten on the pain scale, no fat reduction, and significant bruising. My result was definitely atypical though. If you go onto Real Self and research, you’ll start to see patterns in people’s comments about whether these procedures are worth it. For instance, with laser fat reduction, people who experienced the least amount of pain also seemed to have the best result in fat reduction.
  10. @Archangel when I joined this forum I quickly realized that there were some fairly negative people to be avoided. Plus, I would confuse who was who. Therefore, I started making notes about people. It provides context for reading their posts in the future. For what it’s worth, I have six notes written about you, and none are about you being negative or aggressive. Although you voice your opinions strongly sometimes, it’s never been exceptionally toxic in my view. If you want to know what I’ve written about you, you’re welcome to DM me.
  11. I’ve used DayUse several times and recall strugglingwith the resort fee/tax issue. A quick check verifies that when you see listed prices, they are before taxes and fees. You may get the final price while booking, but comparisons done beforehand, when looking at listings, will not be equal.
  12. There’s a reason “demisexual” and “sapiosexual” commonly pop up on Grindr profiles these days. While anon sex might still be the gold standard for hooking up, many guys are tired of it and want a deeper connection, even for casual encounters.
  13. Nice to hear all of the reactions here. The closing number “You Won a Tony” was pitch perfect. Great call by the producers. I hate when they sign off 3 seconds after the last speech. That song really summed up the evening and felt emotionally appropriate.
  14. I topped a guy who clearly had bleached his hole, and it wasn’t pretty. You could tell where the bleaching started and ended. Proceed with caution.
  15. When it comes to this hobby there are handjobs, there are blowjobs, and every so often, there are wackjobs. 😂
  16. And now a different friend of mine has messaged me. Knowing that I’m a fan of White’s work, my friend sent a message, “Thinking of you,” along with a picture of his foot … in White’s mouth. Was I the only person who didn’t sleep with this guy? I wonder if my friends made it into any of his books. That’s a lot of books to read to find out!
  17. The Beautiful Room Is Empty was my personal favorite. Although Forgetting Elena was haunting. I read it when I went to Fire Island for the first time, and let’s just say, the surreal world of social norms described in the book were very much like real life, in my experience. And now for a quick story about “Eddie” and our favorite hobby … I had a friend, oh about 20-some years ago. We knew each other from the SM social scene, which I was deeply involved in. He shared with me about a session he had with Mr. White; it was a flogging scene. I was a bit jealous, being a fan of his work (the writer’s, not the flogger’s). However, I did wonder why my hot friend would hook up with a 60-something year old. Eventually I realized that, duh, my friend was working as a pro dom. Hell, I would have flogged White for free. Or for just a bit of conversation. I’m a bit sad I never got to.
  18. Has has his own OF and I’ve heard him live stream on X. (It made me not want to hire him.) He might be willing to share both if asked. What can be gleaned is: he really likes feet, getting head, tight holes, breeding, men of color, cuddling, and $$$.
  19. True. But my strong preference is that it be a win-win situation. When we both leave happy, that’s a successful encounter, to me.
  20. I’ve bought a new TV, MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch. Too bad I didn’t know iPhones were going to be exempted from the most onerous tariffs. Oh well. I didn’t need a new laptop but Apple decided to stop supporting my OS, so a perfectly working computer will now go into a landfill. Criminal.
  21. If I’m spending $900 for two hours of entertainment, I want a ticket to paradise. Not a ticket to a Broadway show.
  22. Yes, he has been incredibly financially successful in the industry.
  23. He is on Rent Men also as TantricMassages. His name there was something about “blowme” previously. There was definitely discussion of him here under that name, mainly centering on his personality. As I recall he can be difficult to develop a rapport with, and it was speculated that perhaps he was on the spectrum.
  24. Agree, street walkers seem to be a thing of the past. However, hustlers are easy to find still; they don’t hang out on the street though. You have to know the places to go. In fact Times Square still has the most.
  25. Check his Twitter. I find sub bottoms built like him very hot, but I’d hesitate to go there with him. Extreme objectification is fine, but with money exchange involved, that’s pretty edgy. Just my opinion. He’s smoking hot though.
