A dividend that high is a red flag for most stocks. It’s historically been closer to the upper 4 range. Maybe it’s so high now because the stock price is low. Sometimes when that happens it means future prospects are not great and the dividend gets slashed eventually. I have no special knowledge of this stock so am only speaking in general terms. It’s elegant. There’s a charming lounge area that I love, with massive windows, although no real view. But it misses the mark on customer service in my experience. The very best high end places treat everyone like a VIP. This hotel feels self important and a bit snotty to me.

I find that low percentage of riders who tip to be surprising. Suspiciously so. Why would anyone not tip an Uber driver? They are almost always pleasant and efficient, and the app takes a sizable chunk of their income but calls them independent contractors so that they (drivers) get no benefits. Not long ago I gave a cash tip to an Uber driver. It was awkward.
