Photos/videos during sessions

With the ready availability of camera phones these days do providers find their clients are asking to take photos or videos for mementos? Is this becoming more common in people's daily sex lives? I have asked in the past with providers who have explicit photos on their ads or are already porn actors and most don't decline. Occasionally I have had some hide their face (the non porn stars). I'm wondering if this is becoming a common request ask I find it somewhat awkward to ask and potentially get rejected before things heat up and spoil the mood.

I think it is awkward, however if you have something with them on it, like a VHS box, or an underwear catalog, I don't feel asking if they could autograph that would be out of line. The thrill of being in their company (and sharing your experience with others) should suffice.

If it's something you for sure want to have a part of the session that's something to ask during your initial conversation when setting up a meeting. I would never wait to ask once you are face to face unless it's totally not a deal breaker if they say no. And make it clear if you wait until then that it's really no big deal if they say no.

I've been asked many times.  I always say no.  Not my thing.

If a client waited until we were in a bedroom to ask, that would be an odd moment to turn someone down.

That's something you discuss in email or text, beforehand.

I thought more than anything you were referring to the provider wanting to take pics/videos for their content pages (after all, there are some hot and/or “virile” clients out there that could potentially make for great material). 
 

In that case, I’ve at times been asked not to record them…without actually stating I would be. Of course I remind them I would never without consent. No hidden cameras or anything to worry. If a client asks to, sometimes I will but: if it’s for their personal use, I may ask for something a little more inclusive to the rate. However with my new content site, I don’t generally get asked for it as much lately…they tend to know where to get souvenirs 😜 🌉

I get asked if there are cameras occasionally. Some clients are aware of my filming work. I tell them definitely no cameras are present. Any filming has to be with consent, release forms etc. Plus if they’re coming for a sensual massage then they wouldn’t find the filming style session very relaxing - there’s too much stop / start, the lights are too bright, there’s no music etc. 

Then there’s some who want a picture or short video taken on their phone as a kind of souvenir I guess. I agree with @BenjaminNicholasthat that kind of thing needs to be discussed beforehand. It’s very awkward to have it thrown at you mid session “oh please just get my phone and take a picture of this”.  I have to climb off the table (it’s usually at some climactic point 😂) rummage in his bag or trouser pocket for his phone, try and not get massage oil all over it, work out how to use it…. I’m fine to do it if agreed beforehand but only a quick pic or 30 seconds video, and no face shown. 

If they really want to be in a porn film then I tell them that’s possible but they’ll need to come to a separate session specifically arranged for filming. They’ll need do the release forms and ID (that puts people off) and wear a mask. Plus they need to be able to perform on camera.

I have only ever taken photos of two escorts, and both of them were men that I hired many, many times. I think it's quite different to ask to photograph someone you have gotten to know a bit versus asking someone you've just met.  Also, I never asked to film during a session.  With one guy, I was actually helping him take photos to potentially use in his ads.  With the other, I simply asked the guy after he showered and put on his jeans if he'd mind if I took a photo of him.  He consented as long as I didn't share it with anyone, and to this day I haven't even shown the photo to anyone else.  I guess he trusted me because I had also asked if he wanted me to review him online; he didn't and so I didn't.  I'm glad he let me photograph him because the ad that I originally responded to had a face picture that was so blurry that all you could see is that it was a presumably attractive young man.  At least I have one photo of him standing shirtless in my bathroom looking very cute to remember him by.

Yes,  it does happen.  I don't have an issue with it provided any participant is comfortable with privacy concerns and the methods used are agreed.

I have experienced providers recording me without my permission, at least twice. And that is when I have noticed. I don't like to ask, nor do I like being asked about it. Personally I don't need mementos of my encounters, but I certainly dislike the feeling that I might be recorded without my permission.

I would not take video or photo without consent from client. I’ve had clients want to FaceTime me but none go through with massage. All providers photos are accurate or should be

I’ve had providers ask (for their marketing and their channels) - when I’ve said no some have even said”what if I guarantee your face won’t be visible …”

I’ve never asked for it.

One provider offered to take pictures or video on my phone for my use saying some liked to keep momentos

I’ve asked re cameras position on bed posts, on desks in the providers room, on the ceiling etc if filming is going on - and always been told no / or a vague answer about for security sometimes / yes / not with you but sometimes etc. given the size of security cameras now I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve been filmed many times not just with providers but with general hookups. I take comfort in my unattractive ordinariness and assume My privacy is not at risk, as well as the strict laws that would get someone in trouble for filming and using something of this nature without consent.

As for me some guys will ask to video but I do find it awkward especially with a camera phone because Topping and holding the phone trying to get a good angle is a bit much. Then your video looks like a earthquake video.

I’ve been asked to film many times - usually when I’m getting my dick sucked bc I’m well-endowed.  No bigger turn-off in the moment, yet some insist.  It’s so fucking boring it’s beyond words. 

If I wanted to film, I’d have OF.  

I’ve also had people film me without my consent - yes, it can be done if the person is clever & deceitful.

I’ve been told filming is now pretty standard when young kids hookup - and you see it in amateur porn where someone is holding a phone in their hand throughout.

Increasingly I find in the hookup world people offering to show me footage of them with others. One guy even said something like it’s now assumed ok unless you say it’s not. Might not be prevalent but more common than it used to be and evolving technology makes it easier.

I’ve taken videos and pics of providers, with their enthusiastic assent. Some even used them in their ads. I’m pretty skilled with a camera.

Yeah, legally it doesn't work that way.

You film someone without their permission and you're opening a very expensive can of worms.

Assumption of risk or implied assumption of risk usually only applies to personal injury cases, not sex videos or hidden cameras.

Interesting discussion. I have indeed asked certain regulars if they would be willing for me to take pictures during our session. A number have been delighted to pose for me in all states of excitement. A few have made me swear I’d always keep the photos private, which I’ve been happy to do.

Quite a few (mostly porn stars) really got into it, advising me which angles to shoot, putting themselves into various poses, telling me to take close-ups of this or that body part, and generally getting involved enough I’d give them director credit if the pictures were ever published, which, of course, I’d never do!

A  couple of guys agreed to photos if I didn’t include their face in any of the shots. It’s interesting that those guys were among the most handsome facially of my many hires! Memorable among those was Steven Draker, whose ass was a true wonder of the modern world!

I have had a few providers that asked me to take their photos cause get them into uniforms or dress as cowboys. Hottest scene was a guy who had a whole studio set up with lighting and remote control for the camera which allowed for high shutter speed shots! We both kept mementos of that encounter which I jack of to frequently.

I also see so many amateur videos where there's camera phones. No wonder there's so many leaks. There probably will come a time with this generation where leaks wouldn't cause a bat of eyes.

I was client for a guy a few times, I knew he had an OF. One visit he was fucking me and asked to video it for OF. I said yes in the moment, I would have prob never agreed to it otherwise. A few months later I signed up and watched it, it was good. Kinda glad I went out of my comfort zone.

OF are strict about getting release forms and ID for anyone appearing in a movie. Did he get those from you before publishing it?
