People end up not being able to attend for all sorts of reasons and thus have to cancel their resort/hotel rooms. I am not sure when an absolute count for the restaurants, etc., has to be in but in some ways it probably is simply an add another chair. You should be able to get that info closer to the event itself. April is a wonderful month and the attendees love meeting new people or old attendees. Like other meetings, you spend so little time in your room you can base it on that. You end up drinking or laying out near other people's choices. Most of us are staying at either Indulge or Canyon Club. And FWIW, $239 Saver, $289 Main Cabin, $2123 First (or 25K/125K AS miles + $6) one way, and it's an 11.45am JFK departure. It doesn't tempt me to change my flights! I had to fly back east last year and flew in and out of Palm Springs for the first time and OMG, it is SO worth it!!
