I think I am going on my 5th day of not leaving my house even though we are not under some of the strict shelter in place orders some areas are under. Last week I braved Costco and finished my shopping and got my prescriptions. I then filled my car with gas, stopped at the bank to get some cash (just in case) and headed home. Costco was a surreal experience, lots of stuff was sold out, but I found enough to make it work. The last item from my list that I was able to obtain was a small bottle of isopropyl alcohol (which eased some anxiety) even though it may not make that much of a difference. One sad but true experience for me there, was my absolute moment of terror whenever someone on the same aisle as me would cough or sneeze.

My daily routine has settled into something like this. I wake up and listen to the headlines, eat breakfast, surf the net, and watch the stock market for a while. I then go outside in my yard and pull weeds for an hour or so (OMG they never end and it seems I have enough weeds to do this for a whole month)! Next I eat lunch, play games on my phone, and more surfing on the internet. Finally, I eat dinner and then its TV/streaming time until I am ready to go to sleep. Then I wake up and start the whole routine all over again.

Two mornings per week I vary the routine by shutting off the computer and playing tennis with friends. Some afternoons I take a break from the news and play Rummikub with a neighbor. Shopping is erratic, depending on what I need.

Wake up and listen to the radio for 30 minutes before getting out of bed. (usual routine.)

Stumble out to kitchen to take morning meds and a glass of water.

Climb back in bed for 30 minutes.

Shower, brush my hair (I quit shaving, blow drying my hair, and using hair product two weeks ago), and dress casually.

Log into work computer and make connection to work servers, check for any urgent emails.

Make and eat breakfast.

Work from 8 - 5.

At 8:30 make first cup of coffee, second around 9:30.

Make lunch at noon before my first of two daily COVID-19 status calls.

Do BAU work and meetings. until my second daily COVID-19 status call at 4:30. Send summary email to my boss.

Make and eat dinner by 6:00. (many nights I'm still in the office until 7:00, so I'm ahead of the game.)

6:30 NBC Nightly News

7:00 check on neighbors

check personal email and see how you all are doing while watching TV before climbing in bed.

Hi guys Buffdaddy. Now with the clubs all closed in NY I been mostly at home. Get up at 9. Brush teeth, take my meds, eat some breakfast, then I'm logged on to sexyjobs to recruit models for my friend in Philadelphia for his website slowteasinghandjobs. If it's nice I'm outside in the backyard, I already put my furniture out for the summer. I eat around 7pm watch the news and some TV, then my favorite show at 11:30 Perry Mason om MeTV. This staying home is going to get old very fast!

I'll have to get the schedule for METV and stay up later. Perry Mason was my favorite show 50 years ago, next to Maverick.

Other than maybe spending more time on Twitter than usual, my daily routine is no different. (And honestly I don't really have a routine anymore.) But I have had sleep problems - at first I wasn't feeling sleepy enough early enough, and now getting back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom is a problem.

I practice social distancing most of the time anyway, but I went out twice in the past week: once to replace a charger for my cell phone and tablets, and once to go grocery shopping.
