""Can A Person Be Too Good Looking?""

Yes.

  • Any confidence that you display is presumed to be based on your looks until proven otherwise.
  • Many people will assume that a man/woman they find very attractive expects everyone to be attracted to him/her, so if they find him/her attractive as well, they’ll go out of their way to demonstrate that they don’t find him/her attractive at all.
  • The only time you are allowed to acknowledge that you are attractive or well-liked, without it being perceived as a reflection of vanity or conceit, is if you qualify it first and immediately follow it with a negating statement ie. “I’m aware that I’m considered attractive by some people, but that’s irrelevant…” And then you get to say what’s on your mind without being labeled as conceited.
  • People who are insecure and not well-liked, but wish to be well-liked, will resent anyone who is well-liked and seek to prove how unworthy that person is of admiration.
  • Any success that an attractive person achieves will be presumed to have been, at least partially, due to their looks.
  • Having to reverse-engineer a conversation that inexplicably ended with a person being rude, run the playback through an “insecurity filter”, and then realize that they interpreted a random thing you said as an expression of superiority.
  • As an attractive man, when hanging out with a female friend/colleague, receiving threats and derogatory accusations from her friends, family, or coworkers. Ie. “Oh you’d better watch out for him. I can see that this one is trouble.” or “Don’t you play any games with her heart. I know your type.”
  • As an attractive woman, when asking for special assistance or for a favor, having people assume that you think you’re entitled to that favor purely because of your looks.
  • As a well-liked person, people perceiving the rewards you receive for being a well-liked person as privileges you haven’t truly earned.

Whenever you see a guy who is unbelievably attractive, don't forget - Someone, somewhere, is tired of him.

This line is usually used by straight men to make themselves feel better about rejection by attractive women. What they leave out is that the hypothetical guy who is tired of the hot woman, if he exists at all, is likely far more desirable than they will ever be.

On the Australian soap opera "Neighbours" a new character has been added; Cassius the gardener. The women oggle him. And then go have sex with their husbands.

The husbands fired him from his gardening jobs.

Much hotter than Aussie Joe Davidson to me was the gardener John Holland in Desperate Housewives, played by the young Jesse Metcalfe, who had an ongoing affair with Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria!)

Not an original idea. Let me show a much, much better precedent:

Life for the extremely good looking can be a wonderful one. But they need to do their part. Few can live by good looks alone.

“and god help you if you are an ugly girl

course too pretty is also your doom

cause everyone harbors a secret hatred

for the prettiest girl in the room”

No wonder I always feel paranoid that nobody likes me. :(:rolleyes::oops::D:p;)

With looks like that, he should be able to find better work than gardening. A friend of a friend was extremely good looking. He had people offering him great jobs left and right. But he was too lazy to hold onto them. He felt that with looks like his, he shouldn’t have to do anything.

He could put his good looks to use by doing gay porn and escorting.

But looks fade. I don't know if it's true or not but I once read that the model that Leonardo used for young John in his "Last Supper" he later used for Judas.

While gay porn, escorting, and modeling are easy choices, men at that extreme of good looks can get paid ridiculous sums just for being a “personal assistant,” or some other cushy job where the main job requirement is just to look good.
