No one else who has responded seemed to be confused. And your answer to my question is that it is none of my business apparently.
I do accept your apology though.

Canada isn't just throwing open the door to Americans....have to provide proof of vaccination, testing, and other contact tracing information after arrival.

He used to be ErikSD.
One previous inquiry links to ErikSD.
It took the Agency 4 weeks after they received my check for the passport renewal fee to cash it. I will keep you posted on when I get the new passport.
I am about half way through the first season. It keeps me interested in the unfolding mystery. I like that the story is told over an entire season instead of each episode being self contained. As said before, this is in essence a prequel. Perry Mason is a private detective prior to being an attorney. It is set in LA in the early 1930s. The characters are more filled out than in the 50s television series.
Matthew Rhys is good as Mason. John Lithgow plays Mason's "mentor" who frequently hires him for legal cases. Lithgow always pleasantly surprises me in serious roles.
I am hopeful for a second season, but I need to get through this one first.
In advance of my first trip to Savannah, GA later this year, I have begun reading John Berendt's book, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Quirky, but it is a real page turner.
