Ask it all in a message, but read my profile or website first because that answers most of the normal questions.
Then ask whatever else you need, no question is silly. I’m not looking for pics of you, it doesn’t matter what you look like. Stats aren’t needed either unless they pertain to how I should treat you (are you 7ft tall? Do you have one leg?… that sort of thing).
And if you want to endear yourself be polite.

Storm4U reacted to Jamie21 in is this the "new normal" attitude?
Why hate you for that? It’s correct. I’m doing it for the money (presumably that’s why you do your job too, or do you voluntarily take a pay cut if your boss thinks you weren’t up to his expectations last week?). I set my rate and I’m not reducing it because someone can’t afford it.
The market works very well (it’s almost perfect, there’s very little government regulation, no monopolies, no cartels, clear information) and providers can join it quite easily so I’d say the prices nicely reflect the supply and demand. Browse your providers and pay his rate if it’s what you want. If it’s out of your price range then you’re in the wrong shop.
OK so I enjoy the work and so I hope that comes across as I do it, and I want repeat business so I make sure my clients have a great time (and that I’m easy to book and polite to deal with when doing so - that’s just plain courtesy and should work both ways), …..but ask yourself the question: would the meeting happen if you weren’t paying?  Perhaps it might, perhaps it might not but we really don’t want to contemplate that too hard because it’s going to let daylight in upon magic.

Wow.  You asked a question, someone provided a thoughtful answer, and you show total disregard for his perspective and shoot him down.  So why did you form it as a question when you're clearly not interested in any answer that disagrees with your take?

Storm4U got a reaction from Jarrod_Uncut in Have you ever thought about quitting the business
I pulled out of the business for a few reasons. A couple of them are:
    1) Overall, I stopped enjoying having a massaging in LA specifically and dealing with the negative things that come with it. I was ready to move on.
    2) When I moved into my new place, I decided I did not want strangers coming in to my new home and knowing where I live, and most clients in LA want you to host. My new place is like a sanctuary for me, so that’s another reason.

My least favorite is a tie between San Diego & Los Angeles.  Its a challenge to pick a favorite and I dont travel outside of California anymore, but I’ve loved working the other cities that I’ve visited.

All of what's mentioned by @Swazca and @Daniel84.I no longer do massage in LA, but I did until very  recently but when I stopped my rates started at $180 and went up from there. I have seen multiple client guys on this forum mention that when they see a masseur, they expect  him to be able to host at a convenient and/or desirable location, and they want the masseur to host in a nice place. According to an Apartment List Rent Report, rent is up 17.6% in year over year increases overall. With that being said, a massage by a great massuer, in a desirable location, in a nice place is not going to be on the low end of a price range. Not to mention inflation making everything more expensive, gas, supplies, etc.  Masseurs have to factor all of that in, in order to make it worthwhile to even offer clients the service. It's a business.

Smith was out of line. So was Chris Rick for mocking Pinkett. She apparently has severe alopecia, which absolutely kills a woman’s self esteem. No one understands that as well as the live Hollywood audience.

Will Smith would have done a greater good had he spoken his displeasure with eloquence and some dignity.
His physical attack and ensuing foul-mouthed epithet further tarnished his persona.

@Jarrod_Uncut  It’s exactly the right thing to remove contact info from the profile!
Your problem seems to stem from a general disregard of human nature. Your happiness and success will be found working with things, rather than people, whose unpredictability is beyond your understanding. People will flake. People will misrepresent. People will get sick. People will love their time with you, but simply not have the money nor time to schedule more.
This is all part of human nature and accepting situations out of yours and others’ control.
Your posts’ content in total, make it seem you are doomed for a life that will be diminished by your endless frustration at people being human.
Find a career where you can work  with things on your own with no interpersonal contact with others. You are a beautiful man who needs to work with things, not people.
And please don’t ruin dogs by seeking a job with animals. 🐶

Overnights aren’t for everyone, but some love them intensely. I have clients who literally only book me for overnights. That being said, in addition to the physical component, what you do during overnights is no different than what you do with a lover, boyfriend, partner, companion, i.e. conversation, dine, watch a movie, hold hands, cuddle, jacuzzi together, or whatever it is the client likes to do.

No that’s not right, maybe I wasn’t clear. I’m very happy to discuss requirements. What I’m not happy to do (because it invariably goes nowhere) is to engage in sex chat. There’s a difference. One is establishing what the client wants and agreeing whether or not I’m ok to do it, and the other is just a fantasy that the client has no intention of seeing through, he’s just getting off on the chat. From experience I can quickly tell when a discussion about requirements etc becomes sex chat. I close down the discussion at that point.

I am really glad to see some on here looking at it from the masseurs perspective. I am not a masseur, but I am a CPA who has masseurs as my clients. Their costs escalate just like everything else. Since rent and gas are their primary expenses, most are just trying to cover increasing costs. It can't be all about us as clients, we need to be fair to them as well. I certainly don't mind paying for exceptional services.

100% correct. Ask directly for what you want. Don’t chat about it. If clients want to chat about the session they never book. Waste of time.

I would challenge you to look at this differently as well. When I talk about my own experience & success doing massage in LA, I am not including my other sources of income in that at all. As you noted, many of us have posted that we are or were providers or masseurs on a part-time basis because… really that is the smartest way to do it given that it is such an unpredictable business. If recessions and Covid teach anybody anything it is that they should have multiple sources of income, ideally passive sources of income (I’m working on the passive part). I have a 9 to 5 job, a social media business, and stocks, in addition to when I was doing massage. Given the direction that our economy is going in, it may behoove you to consider diversifying and not having all of your eggs in one basket. Based on your posts it sounds like being a provider is your only source of income. Everyone can define success differently, BUT I don’t think that whether someone can be a provider as their only or main source of income is the metric for if they are successful  because many people and arguably the wisest ones don’t  and won’t  want it to be their only or main source of income. If they have a certain amount they want to make from it, and they hit that goal, then they are successful.
