Can Older Men Still Have Quality Experiences?
+ Jamie21 replied to + Lucky's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yes, over 29 is the beginning of the end in the gay world! In my head I’m always 29. Physically I’m 10 years younger than my age (I’ve looked after myself I guess) but in the gay world I’m definitely ancient! Luckily I’ve never wanted to fit in to any group or comply with any social conventions like that so I’ve ignored those social group conventions about what you’re supposed to do at what age. I think Groucho Marx that said he didn’t want to belong to any club that would accept him as a member. I feel similarly so I disregard age, looks, background etc as being restrictions about what’s possible. That opens up opportunities. So despite being ‘too old’ to do sex work I find that I get plenty of clients because fortunately not everyone wants a sensual massage done by a hot young thing with one eye on his abs in the mirror, and one hand on his phone scrolling TikTok while he perfunctorily goes through the massage motions. Interestingly I find that female clients are more open to older masseurs. Maybe it’s a trust thing or that female arousal is more about emotional connection and less visual than male arousal. I do think that gay male clients will make decisions to hire on things like pictures (and cock size especially) whereas female clients will decide to hire based on things like their perception of your professional approach, references and respectability (and only then will they consider cock size!!). In those respects age acts as an advantage. I’ve a sex worker friend who still does sensual massage in his mid sixties. He’s busy, his clients value his experience. I’m not sure I’ll have the energy or inclination to still work at that age but I’m not ruling it out. Let’s not let age define what we can and cannot do. If you can physically do something at age 90 then go ahead and do it. -
How does the European market compare to the North American?

Yep, probably. There’s a lot of competition here. Lots of guys just playing at it, offering poor service. -

Wait! You mean if what I do was illegal I could charge more? -
Sorry but I can’t help thinking how wonderfully intriguing the title of this topic is….“Finish sex” sounds like it’s a computer game 🙂. Yep, I finished Super Mario Bros.

Unfortunately there’s rather too many dilettante providers working in the industry. They pop up, play at it, mess people around and then find that it’s all rather too difficult and they then disappear. It’s no wonder some clients are wary. I hope clients can tell the difference between the amateurs and the professionals. You can trust guys who are doing things properly- those with a track record, website, recommendations, professional pics on their adverts etc. It’s safe to give them your number.
-
Maybe they’re a public figure who wants to be very discreet. Maybe they’re just paranoid about the sex worker contacting them on the number. Or maybe they have had a bad experience from sharing their number previously and want to avoid it. It is irritating but there could be legitimate reasons without them being a flake or some weirdo. I get clients booking by email or even Twitter DM. Most of the email bookings come via the contact form on my website so actually I’m inviting them to do it like that. In reply I suggest to them it’s easier to communicate by text / WhatsApp or call if they have questions etc but some just prefer the extra distance an email provides and they keep it all to email. Indeed there is a public figure who books me via email and he won’t share his number despite him visiting regularly. I think the signs about whether they’re a flake or not are evident regardless of the form of the contact though. Most of the flakes do actually contact with their number (because usually they like the thrill of the ‘sex chat’ and sending pics etc) and that’s fine because I can just add their number to the time wasters list.

I hadn’t considered that either. My point was that if I did sex work just for a way to earn money then I might be tempted to take clients who were into pnp style sessions. I’ve a friend in the business who started taking drugs, because some of his clients were too, and then he became reliant on them and I saw his health and personality deteriorate. Fortunately he’s clear of it now but he had to stop doing escorting because otherwise it led him back down that route.

Agree with @BenjaminNicholas, it’s a job I choose. If I was having to do it then I might feel compelled to go with clients who ‘party’. But because I choose to do the work, because I enjoy it, then I can choose not to do things I’m uncomfortable with.
-
Absolutely! My sessions are massage. Massage is like a seduction. If they’re not up for it to develop then they can still enjoy a great massage (done on a table, properly). If they are keen to explore then massage is a great way to allow that to happen naturally. Yes I agree if the client is being hesitant and isn’t wanting to discuss why then there’s not a lot you can do, just be supportive and go with it.

My view is if that’s what they want, or if that’s what they can manage in the moment, then that’s fine by me. Of course I’m concerned if they suddenly want to stop: Did I do something wrong? Are they ok? Is there something causing anxiety? If he (or she) is happy to talk about it then we do. For some people the act of hiring someone is a big step, and in the heat of the moment it can all get a bit overwhelming. Feelings of guilt, shame or just performance anxiety can come out, it’s understandable given today’s judgemental society. If I can help by talking it through with them then I see that as part of the job. It doesn’t upset me, in fact I see it as a compliment if they feel they can share these things with me.

No drugs on overnights. If a client wants to pnp or take drugs on an overnight then I’m not their guy. I’m not dealing with clients off their head etc. I think you’re right though, lots do want that.

Although at least if you’re the one making the call then you can do it from a discreet and quiet location. I’ve answered calls before whilst shopping in the supermarket. It’s difficult to describe a sensual massage in terms of a shopping list …. “Yes your er 🍆 is rubbed, you can touch my 🍑….oh and of course there’s plenty of 🥛”

Can Older Men Still Have Quality Experiences?
+ Jamie21 replied to + Lucky's topic in Questions About Hiring
My oldest client is in his late 70’s. He’s fantastic. I get as much pleasure from seeing him enjoy himself as I do clients in their 20’s. I do understand the perception that somehow it’s more fun with a young fit guy. I’d have said that too before I started doing massage. I did wonder at the start of doing this work if I’d be able to be the same with every client but actually I find that’s not the challenge at all. Now that I’ve been doing sensual massage for years and seen all sorts of clients I can definitely say that age or body type makes no difference to my approach (except that I’ll be less firm with someone who’s less muscular). The biggest challenge isn’t their age or physical appearance, it’s their attitude. Some older guys take longer to get hard or climax so that’s different but otherwise I find most people regardless of age are looking for similar things; a relaxing proper massage, some intimacy, some fun and to feel at ease and be themselves. If the person I’m seeing is coming for those reasons then it’s great. If their attitude is they just want to use me to get off then it doesn’t work. Fortunately I can screen those type of clients out before they book. The driver for me is that my client is enjoying themselves. The more they enjoy our session the better it is for me…in a virtuous circle kind of way. If a 75 year old has great time then so did I. Age is irrelevant. Attitude is everything. -
Does the “All American” look appeal to more inquiries?
+ Jamie21 replied to JB_Studio38's topic in Questions About Hiring
Awesome! I never knew that. Must see that musical 🙂 -
Yes this. Mindless fucks may be had on hook up apps but someone professional who is focused on your enjoyment and who understands male arousal (or female arousal for that matter) is usually more often found via providers. I think the biggest sex organ is the brain, start there and work down 😉.

I’ve no axe to grind with you, I’m just trying to explain that I think you’re viewing something as binary when it really isn’t so. At one end of the spectrum is pure escorting, at the other end is therapeutic massage, however there is a middle point where the two merge; aspects of massage and aspects of escorting. That’s where I operate and where I think many on Rentmasseur do too. There’s a market for it evidently, hence the number of providers on Rentmasseur. I apologise if I misread you but it does seem to be that you’re more annoyed at the rates being requested on Rentmasseur than the nature of the service provided?
-
I’m not suggesting you do need to experience it, but many do. No I disagree that Rentmasseur is to be geared as a massage site. It’s completely legitimate to offer a proper massage (by someone who is trained) and include as part of that sexual services. There’s a demand for it, and Rentmasseur serves that market. In some jurisdictions (fortunately not mine) guys offering sexual services as part of massage have to be discreet about it. I expect that’s why some of the adverts on there are ambiguous. It sounds like you’re wanting to order an Italian dish in a Mexican restaurant so to speak. If you want Mexican go to a Mexican restaurant. Don’t complain that there’s only Pizza and Pasta on the menu in an Italian restaurant.
-
I think that if you’re looking for therapeutic only massage then there’s probably more appropriate sites than Rentmasseur. Just look at the pictures on Rentmasseur, most of the masseurs are wearing very little and it’s clear that the service is more than a spa style massage. If you’re looking for therapeutic only on Rentmasseur you’ll not find it very easily. Also if you equate a Grindr fuck with a session with a good escort or masseur then you’re not comparing like with like.
-
Versatile. To be a good top it’s important to know how to bottom.
-
Unfortunately it’s hit and miss. You can ask the therapist about what’s included for the price etc but until you try him out you’ll never know for sure whether his massage style / technique is good for you. I see clients who just want a great massage done by a guy, some even don’t want me to do it naked. There’s no sexual arousal included - at their request. They just like the massage but my rate is the same. Other clients like the massage to progress quickly to more of an escort type session. Kind of half massage and half sex. Usually that’s an outcall and the massage is on a bed. Unless I’m bottoming the rate is the same. I think it ruins the session if we have to stop part way through for me to say “oh that’s extra, are you ok to pay for that” or to stop from doing something that has progressed naturally because it wasn’t in the pre paid menu. I charge extra to bottom in a massage because of the extra time it takes to prepare but that’s the only extra.

I didn’t realise it was possible to tell the difference either. There are sites where you can check out numbers against lists of known troublemakers. I occasionally use them. Sometimes I get calls from ‘number withheld’ and I don’t answer them. If someone wants to avoid revealing their number they can always reach me and book via email. Otherwise I’ll answer calls from any number but I prefer clients to text or WhatsApp first. If they want to talk then we can arrange a time for a phone call. Why don’t I like answering random calls? Because invariably the caller will ask about what happens etc and I’m usually not in a position to discuss all the details in case I’m overheard. Therefore I prefer that we arrange a time via text and then I can make sure I’m somewhere discreet for a conversation. I find the older clients prefer to book via a phone call. Sometimes it is nice to talk and answer questions in person. Texts can be misinterpreted but of course it is easier to arrange via text when people are busy.

I get back and bum waxed, including my crack. It’s not very hairy but I like the feeling of smoothness and if I’m filming then a smooth bum looks better on camera I think. I don’t wax my balls because the trouble with waxing is that the hair needs to grow a bit before it’s possible to have it waxed (otherwise it doesn’t come out) and I like my balls smooth every day, so I shave them daily. My wax guy is very thorough and after my crack has been waxed he gets his tweezers and pulls out any remaining hairs whilst I’m on my hands and knees on his table. We discuss the weather or what was on TV last night while he wields his tweezers on the stubborn hairs around my hole. It’s truly the strangest and least erotic thing I’ve ever experienced whilst being naked and on all fours with another guy. I kind of hope that to end the session on a high he’s going to get turned on at the sight of my freshly smooth bum and he will grab my thighs pulling my hole to his mouth and bury his tongue deep inside… but instead he just wipes it with a baby wipe and says “all done” and I say “good, thanks” and we behave ourselves. He’s a professional but I can dream can’t I?

No I’ve never seen that site before.

I’ll keep this on topic. I got condoms supplied by BA in my complimentary night bag on a Business class flight to from LHR to JFK….or was that just the cute cabin crew guy hitting on me? 😉

I do bareback in porn. It’s the self produced kind (justforfans) so there’s no certification or anything like that. It’s almost a necessity to do bb in porn. I’d get far fewer subscribers if my porn showed condoms. All the guys I shoot with are doing bareback too. All are on Prep, and so am I. The sexual health clinic I use is excellent and I test very regularly so I feel relatively confident to do bb. The problem is if I do catch something then I’m not able to work for a couple of weeks. As a masseur I don’t routinely top for clients, it’s not something I include or promise, and my clients generally have no expectation for that. However it does sometimes happen (with regular clients) or if I’m booked for an escort style session. In those instances I usually bareback unless the client wants me to use a condom. I think the flow of the session works better without having to stop to wear a condom, plus it’s just a better feeling. Of course there are risks, as with anything.
