PROVIDERS: Your Thoughts on Hemorrhoids and Skin Tags
+ Jamie21 replied to lonely_john's topic in Questions About Hiring
Not necessarily. Skin tags are fairly common. Sometimes icky things are part of the job. I’d just say “it depends “. Much worse for me is poor hygiene and lack of preparation. That’s definitely a no go. Those things are entirely within the client’s control so I expect that they attend to them properly otherwise their session will be severely limited. Health conditions that are unsightly but not contra indications for massage are just challenges to overcome. -
PROVIDERS: Your Thoughts on Hemorrhoids and Skin Tags
+ Jamie21 replied to lonely_john's topic in Questions About Hiring
Always do a visual check before you go down there! I’m intrigued by the provider using his phone light to have a look. I wonder how he did that discreetly? Did he say “that’s such a beautiful asshole I’m just going to take a pic as a reminder to me of it’s beauty?” and then shine the light in there? Hmmm? It’s why I prefer to keep the lights on, so I can see everything. At least what’s on the outside... Sometimes when a finger is in I’ll feel the scars or tags from former hemorrhoids. It’s a warning sign, and then before going close with my tongue I’ll do a visual check which can be done discreetly as a glute massage move. Obviously also checking for cleanliness (even with the pre session shower, very occasionally clients still seem to be less than Nordic valley fresh 😱). Then I can answer: To rim or not to rim, that is the question. Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer…the tags and hemorrhoids of outrageous arses…or to take arms against a sea of STD’s…and by opposing, avoid them? With apologies to Will Shakespeare. -
Have you ever not been paid ? ( for your time)
+ Jamie21 replied to a topic in Questions About Hiring
Ah yes I am meaning massage or escorting. For me the line is blurry. My massage can include sex. And I’m thinking in a UK context where it’s lawful to provide escort service. I totally agree, the social side: whether you make the client feel comfortable, safe and above all good about themselves is the most important part. If that is absent then nothing else is relevant. -
Would be totally unethical to film a massage without the participant’s consent or knowledge. I film massage porn and always do it with models (amateur and professional) who are fully aware of what they’re involved with and having their release form signed and ID checked. In most good platforms now it’s not possible to upload content unless you have the release forms and ID checked. Mine are published on my justforfans which now requires the participant to confirm their agreement and prove their age. That’s a good development. https://justfor.fans/MassageForHim

Have you ever not been paid ? ( for your time)

After a session recently with a regular client we were chatting for a while afterwards. I was dressed and almost out the door and he said “are you ok with a bank transfer?”. I’d genuinely forgotten because I was distracted by the chat etc. He has my bank details so I’ve no doubt he’d have sent the payment anyway even if we’d both forgotten. It’s nice when the relationship is so natural that payment is almost an afterthought. I know this topic is “ask an escort “ but I’m interested in the view of clients; how does making payment after a session influence how you feel about the session? Is there a way of the provider asking for payment that makes things easier? -
Agree, it’s similar to being asked sexual health status. I’m fine with questions like that and am happy to show clients my most recent test results if they ask for them.

Why do many Massage clients book things at the last minute?
+ Jamie21 replied to TallMuscl37's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I know that guy in LA. He’s a good guy. I’d recommend him. Very professional. It’s a great booking system. I’ve looked at similar and it works if your life is relatively simple! Mine isn’t, I do other things as well as sex work so it’s not ideal to use a booking system like that unfortunately. It would save the back and forth messages although these aren’t especially arduous. I’m most intrigued by the long legal disclaimer on his website. From a British point of view it looks unnecessary (and probably not completely watertight) but I guess the US is a much more litigious country. -

Well yes if you’re not an escort then going on holiday with someone, whether or not they paid for you, wouldn’t feel like work. Unless while you’re there with them they ask you to do your professional work. Assume you’re a lawyer. Clients pay for your time and expertise. They invite you on holiday. On the beach they ask you legal questions and expect you to exercise your professional judgment in answering them. You’re at work then aren’t you? They’ll expect you to answer, given they’ve paid for your “holiday”. What’s the difference between taking a sex worker and asking him for a massage or sex session…he’s at work then isn’t he? I can’t speak for all sex workers but to me, if I’m being paid for my time which includes sexual activity then it’s work. Even if that’s happening while on holiday. He’s paying me, directly or indirectly, therefore it’s work. -

You seem very reasonable! I know what you mean about work needing to be enjoyable but even then it’s still work. I love my work, I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t but even so it’s still work and if I’m going on vacation I don’t want to do any work atall. It’s a break from work. -

Work, whatever it is and regardless of whether it’s supposedly fun, is always work in the end. Today I did a porn filming session, and got to film with an extremely hot guy who I’d gladly have fun with in my spare time. But it was work, I didn’t enjoy it (although I didn’t hate it either!). I think it’s because it had to be done to meet obligations etc. It’s not like we both chose to be there purely for fun. We were both doing it to make money. Your provider who turned down a paid vacation probably views it as being work primarily and therefore it comes with obligations, so he needs to think about it. You’re viewing it from a different perspective to him. I had a client offer to take me on vacation (I pay nothing), and of course there was an expectation on me to keep him entertained (although nothing was explicitly requested). I declined. I took the view that would I go on vacation with him if I paid my share and we went as friends? If the answer to that is “no” then I shouldn’t go if it’s a client relationship. Just because he’s paying for everything doesn’t change the decision for me. I wouldn’t have gone as friends so I wouldn’t go as a provider. It’s too long together unless you’re totally compatible. -
Everyone starts out that way….”these are my limits…I need pics of you to check you’re hot enough”. Give him a few months and he’ll be “fuck me bareback $20”

Seems this issue is quite emotive. I take it as par for the course. I’m working in this business so it means I’ll get lots of last minute requests…it’s frustrating but nothing I can do about it. Just say “yes” when I’m available or “no” if it doesn’t fit. I must turn down about 3 a week because of my unavailability. Some come back some don’t. It’s disappointing because I hate to turn away business! -

Hey I’d take payment by barter. I have in the past exchanged massage for photography work. I had some professional marketing pics done by a photographer and paid him by massage. A mutually beneficial exchange. -
Hey thanks! Taoist masseur is great, lovely guy. I’ve filmed a couple of times with him and will do more. He’s a lovely guy. Look forward to fucking you …sorry that was a mistype…massaging you on my table 😂.

It often happens. I’m amazed, guys even contact me to say “I’m in London are you available today at xx?”. They usually travelled from abroad and presumably have considered booking me but they leave it to the day to ask about booking. Often I’m booked up or out of town so I have to decline and then they’re disappointed. Those clients that book in advance get what they want because I plan my diary to accommodate them. I understand that sometimes you book in advance and on the day just don’t feel right for it, so that’s fine…cancel it. I don’t take deposits and if you tell me you’re cancelling at the start of the day then I can rearrange my time. I agree with Jarrod that it’s annoying to have to repeatedly say no to last minute requests. However, in my experience those “are you available now” type clients are usually difficult anyway (drunk, high or just looking for a quick fuck) so actually it’s not the type of booking I want anyway. -

It’s never happened. I take payment at the end, it feels better to me. Some clients pay before because I think they’re anxious and want to get that part out of the way but I never ask for any payment up front. On this occasion the client (who had tried to negotiate a reduced price when booking- my answer was no, I never discount) when we’d finished and it came to payment time said he didn’t have the cash. At that time I didn’t accept credit cards so cash was the only way. I think he expected me to say “oh don’t worry it was such a fantastic time for me that session is free”. Well in fact it wasn’t fantastic, it was average, and it was work, so I said to him “no problem I’ll just get dressed and walk with you to the cash machine” which was 5 minutes walk away. As we walked I was worried he’d do a runner so I stayed close. At the machine he withdrew the cash and paid me. Funny thing is I’ve seen him a couple of times since. Each time since then he’s never tried to negotiate and always had payment ready. -

That response of his must be reassuring to you not only that he is vaccinated but that he seems a nice guy too. It’s a reasonable question to ask in my view. I’ve had one or two clients ask me although most seem to be keen to tell me that THEY have been vaccinated! I don’t mind, I’ll see vaccinated or unvaccinated clients, it’s their choice about having it. I’m vaccinated and I’ve seen some other providers put their vaccination status on their profile along with other stats…

Yes, it’s easy. I use Monzo, can send money instantly to any bank. Do need names. I guess if you’re wanting total discretion then cash is the only thing that’s 100% discreet! I think European banking tech is more advanced than US banking tbh.
-
Yes bank transfer is a thing here and can be done easily on the phone. It’s instant so I can see I’ve been paid. I have a couple of clients who prefer bank transfer. I personally prefer to be paid by cash or credit card (I have a card reader).

Ah yes I was in Mykonos a few weeks ago. Unfortunately not at a clients expense lol. It was however with a former client who has now become a friend. He paid when we went last year but I wanted to pay my own way this time (although he picked up all the restaurant bills and the cost of sunbeds on the beach!). It’s potentially awkward when a client becomes a friend…has only happened this one time but seems to have worked! We did see a few young guys with obviously older guys who looked like escort /clients. Lucky boys lol.

Sitting here in London getting a geography lesson - interesting! What surprises me is the travel you guys are prepared to do. Here London to Manchester takes about 4 hours to drive (200 miles). It’s a different market (and seems well served). I’d never visit a client there or do a tour; it’s too far away and I don’t need to go there anyway for business. I think if I wanted a change of scene I’d go to somewhere like Amsterdam or Barcelona.

What Makes you STOP Responding to Client's Messages?
+ Jamie21 replied to lonely_john's topic in Questions About Hiring
There is a scene in London where clients want providers to use party drugs with them during the session. These are longer appointments. I guess if you’re easily influenced and mix with wrong people it can be easy to fall into (basically you get paid to party…you can see how that might sound appealing at first). Once you’re in that scene it’s almost impossible to escape. But yes it’s possible to have longer appointments here outside of that scene. I don’t do them (I’ve friends who do) because I don’t have time and it’s not my market anyway. I think London has everything and a regular supply of international visitors…I walk through the city and think “ah yes I saw x client at that hotel….and him at that hotel” 😂
