They’re illegal in the UK too. I’m not sure how the place in Earls Court works. Maybe because it seems to describe itself as a massage place. Must be well run.

Could be that he advertises all the time? My adverts are up all the time, whether or not I’m working. I was away in Greece and in France earlier this year so wasn’t available for weeks but the adverts stayed up. I just told clients who enquired that I wasn’t available until after I was back. If you keep activating and deactivating your advert on some sites it lowers the prominence on the site. Also it’s just simpler to advertise 24/7 and decline requests for times you’re unavailable. In my situation clients can book weeks ahead (example if they’re visiting London and want to make sure I’m available when they’re here). If he’s used Covid as an excuse to not see you that’s bad. Worse if he has Covid and is still working! But I’d be careful before concluding that it was either of those. It could just be he left the ad running…

You can choose the therapist at Portsea….they have pictures of who is working that day. There’s usually a few. I went recently for research purposes. I like to get a massage occasionally just to see what the competition is like lol. It’s tax deductible too 🙂. I’m certainly not worried about the competition from that sauna based on the massage I got. It was perfunctory. He was a nice guy but the massage was not great and the room was cold and unwelcoming. I think the details are important; a welcome, quick chat, warm comfortable room, decent table. None of that was present. I wouldn’t go back.

It must be very difficult if your sole source of income is from doing sex work. I’ve been doing it 5 years now and I can kind of predict the revenue stream but it’s patchy and, especially now during a pandemic, unreliable. I understand why Jarrod is annoyed at clients who are sketchy because you try to accommodate them, you try to be available but sometimes it just doesn’t happen. You’re thinking ‘ah great, I’ll hit my target’ and then they flake. Often with no stated reason. That can be really annoying if you have cancelled other arrangements to be available. I get a lot of last minute requests “are you available today at 3?” for example at say 2pm. The answer is almost always “no, sorry “. I could say that I would have been had you asked yesterday for today but now I’m doing something else….but I don’t because it’s not worth being that spiky. I just say that it’s best to book a bit in advance if possible because I get busy and leave it at that. This is a customer service business and regardless of how we think the customers should behave, in a customer service business the customer is always right. If they think I’m too expensive, not hot enough, not flexible enough, a bad masseur etc then that’s their prerogative. They interact but won’t book if my proposition doesn’t attract them enough. Clearly for me there’s enough clients who are happy with my package (me, the massage, the sex, the rates, the availability etc) that I get enough work to keep me in the business. When the clients dry up I’ll know to stop. I do other work too (justforfans lol) and non sex work so that my income is regular. It’s too random to rely completely on provider work. I think doing that causes too much stress, hence the irritation that Jarrod experiences as a result of the work that has to go in to managing customer service. I think one just has to accept that some customers won’t change, you can filter them out a bit by marketing, but can’t avoid them.

If you visit….I’ve studios in Fitzrovia and Chelsea (new location for 2022!). Also hotel calls.

That’s so enlightened. Good for Japan. An amazing culture.

Hmmm the casting vote if it’s 2:2 will be interesting. I’m voting split it 5 ways. As I said, if I end up winning it’s going to go to a charity, Crisis at Christmas which helps the homeless at this time of year.

Promoting myself again https://justfor.fans/MassageForHim Lots of sexy massages. Every hole filled.

Yes it just means a more comfortable form of misery 🙂

A thousand dollars will go a long way if used wisely. Invest it. To some people I know it would make a big difference to how they experience Christmas. Remember that.

I’m a masseur too, there’s always flakes and I agree escorts probably get more aggravation. If you assume they’re all just trying to annoy you then yes it will be incredibly dispiriting but I know that a good proportion of the flakes are just genuine guys who are totally scared at the prospect of hiring a guy for a sexual encounter. They might be closeted and anxious about discretion, they might be inexperienced and struggling with their sexuality. They’ll make contact and then get too scared to follow through, or they’ll talk about booking to build up their confidence. For this reason I try to be understanding. Working in sex work can make you blasé about these things so it’s always important to consider that clients don’t come at it from the same perspective as me. Yes some are just wasters and will sap your energy but I can spot those. Most will be genuine guys who are hiring for the first time, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. When they do pluck up the courage to see me it’s always a pleasure to help them explore. I get a lot of satisfaction from those clients.

Appreciated…but please give it to your favourite charity if you pick out me https://rentmasseur.com/JamieW

I take a pragmatic view, 50% of enquiries won’t end up booking, whether that’s because we can’t align times, they don’t like my prices, style, look or whatever, or they just can’t commit to anything (there’s lots of prevaricators….”I’ll definitely book next week etc”…. of course it never happens). Time wasters just get told ‘when you’re ready to book, contact me’. End of discussion.

It’s worth a try I guess. You might find that clients don’t want to subscribe to it, even for a week, to book you in person. I think the type of client who subscribes to online content is different to the in person market. I don’t use my justforfans to promote my provider work, it’s separate and not linked in any way (although a few clients have found the justforfans independently and asked me about it when we met). But I think it’s two different markets with a small overlap.
-
It’s definitely content hungry. I’m on justforfans and supposedly in the top 3% of creators but I don’t make millions!, it’s more like a couple of thousand before my expenses (and I pay an editor to manage the editing and posting on the platform, plus venue hire occasionally). It takes me on average a days work a month. I do it as a sideline to my main massage work. If you work at it full time I guess you’d make more but I haven’t got the energy for it (or the models to collaborate with) to spend any more on it than I currently do.

It works. I use a scratcher tool. Mix it up though with different touch.

The sympathy angle, the language, the unnecessary complication, the promise of large payment, the provision of ID which is totally unnecessary but serves to give you reassurance. It’s a scam. Ignore it, block the email.

Or North West Chelsea 😂. I love how people try to make their area sound better than it is.

Great advice. Totally agree. Remember London is an old city, some hotels are in properties that weren’t built to be a hotel, which in my view makes them even more interesting. I’ve visited a client in a hotel that used to be a court house… Yes your provider may be delayed…travel in London isn’t simple. I build in spare time to my travel just in case, and this is part of the reason why out call rates are higher.

And still is known as Earl’s Court 🙂

It’s never happened that I have thought of a client in this way to consider the roles switching. Yes on many occasions they have been skilled but still I haven’t considered the role reversal. The premise of the question seems misplaced. It’s like a diner going into a restaurant and having a fantastic meal where he eats everything and really appreciates the menu, ingredients, cooking and ambiance of the restaurant. He’s the perfect diner. Would the chef think “I must be that diner sometime?”.
