I once saw a provider who wanted to be paid upfront which was ok. I had a stack of $20’s. He stood there and meticulously counted the stack. I thought that was really tacky.

Yeah I agree. I usually add a $20 tip but keep it separate from the total donation. I had a guy do that once and after a mediocre session, it definitely made it easier just to give him exactly what he counted and not any more.

  2. I think we're going to see a lot more Venezuelan guys....already have a bit. But yeah there are a lot coming to the US right now. I feel like quite a lot of the guys on Chaturbate are Venezuelan as well. This guys a cutie though for sure.

I have no problem paying up front. I actually think for first/new meetings with clients it can be wise for a provider to ask for payment up front.

I agree and definitely do not have a problem as a client putting aside payment in like a nightstand drawer or whatever. I think especially if the provider is hosting, it's not a problem for them to request payment before anything gets going.

Also I'm really sorry this happened to you @AsianGuyCA. Some guys are such jerks.

  4. This forum can be boringly binary sometimes.

Yes in many cases you can be ripped off from doing a deposit. But in some cases, a deposit is a good idea and I think helps you build trust with good providers.

I usually do not go for a deposit for short sessions, but have for longer sessions when the deposit goes to the total of the night.

It is absolutely true that you can lose the deposit. But there is always a slight element of risk in this game. More often it's that you spend money on sub-par experience. If you're really worried about losing that $100 deposit or whatever, then you should just as much be worried about a bad escort showing up whether you do a deposit or not.

    Follow the $$$

Remember to take higher/lower levels of taxation of all types into account when comparing services.

Remember that on average, the cost to own/operate your own car in the US is more than $10,500 a year according to AAA.

In most of Europe, car ownership is definitely not necessary. Personally, I'd gladly save the money I put into my car this year (nearly $7K for a new transmission) if my job allowed me to ditch the car.

  6. Denver got to -24 on early Friday morning. Second coldest temp ever recorded in the city. Unfortunately, I think its possible that might've done in my beautiful wisteria. Hopefully it'll just die back to the roots like it did last time we had a cold snap.

It's a legit kink, and there are guys who really are into it from both sides. There are also a lot of guys who think that being an "alpha" just means being a demanding asshole, YMMV.

Yeah I've had some providers try to do some findom stuff on me and it's a big turnoff. I just don't get it. I'm also a bit skeptical that there's a lot of clients who are into FinDom. I don't know, maybe there are but I feel like this often comes more from the provider than the client.

Oh for sure, I just don't get what people get out of making plans and being time wasting and flakey. If they have no intention at all, then don't hit providers up at all.

I will just say as a client, I sometimes contact a few providers when I am visiting a new city. This is because I've actually gotten flaked on by providers so often that I like to have a couple of backups.

I sort of realize it sucks for the other couple of guys if the first guy ends up working out. If I can afford it, I will sometimes still try to set up a second session with another guy. Once on a trip to LA, I got flaked on by all three guys I initially contacted and ended up reaching out to a forth guy while I was there and that's who I ended up meeting with.

I do explain to the other guys that I ended up meeting with another provider so at least they are not expecting me any longer.

Recently, in Berlin, i met an uber sweet escort who was a graduate student in mathematics. Extremely sexy to hear him talk about stochastic finance over a steak dinner.

I would actually prefer a bit more specifics in how the provider is educated. Like exactly that: "Currently in graduate school for mathematics" or "have a master's degree in journalism." Then you can actually get more of sense of common interests and relatability. "Educated" means nothing.

It’s their private home so have every right to record. If they state this in their Airbnb ad it’s permissible

And AirBnB has the right to prohibit video recording if you're using their web site to advertise your space. And AirBnb does prohibit undisclosed ones generally and:

So you may have the right in your private home but that doesn't mean you can host with AirBnb

And that "very easy lawsuit" would entail further publicity of the activity you didn't wanr exposed....so...

And the creepy peeping tom AirBnB host doesn't want their illegal "hobby" exposed either. So it doesn't even get to the courts, it just gets taken down.

Pretty sure all the drugs I took in college were "illegal" too. Doesn't stop people from doing it.

But if the worry is that your privacy is going to be violated by an AirBnB host:

    A) Probably they aren't videotaping you.

    B) If they were, what are they going to possibly do with the footage? If they try to like get you in trouble for prostitution or whatever, then they are also very likely committing an illegal act. If they are going to post it online, you would have a very easy lawsuit that your privacy has been violated. If they are just going to privately jack off to it, then you would neither know about it nor care.

  13. It's against AirBNB rules to have hidden cameras in the apartment and all recording devices must be properly documented to guests before arriving.

In many states, it's also illegal to record someone where they would have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Certainly many apartments probably have Ring cameras and other outside surveillance and definitely the owner of an apartment could probably record you entering or exiting the apartment. But filming inside the apartment would very likely violate AirBnB rules and may be illegal.

Hotels almost certainly record whoever enters and exits their building as well. I'm not really sure that I buy that one is inherently more risky privacy-wise than the other.

Because that's not how inflation works.

"When inflation goes down" means the RATE OF INCREASE reduces.  Prices never go back to where they were. SHORTAGES cause temporary spikes in prices during an inflationary period, but the current inflation is partially due to a collapse in the dollar.  It's like saying, I remember when a cup of coffee was 25cents, gee I wish we could go back to those times. YOU CAN'T. Once the dollar value crashes, the market adjusts to the new value and that sticks ( with only minor adjustments for supply chain issues ).

You're getting a bit too much into politics IMO.

And this isn't actually that accurate. Econ 101 tells us basically that in a healthy economy, there is usually inflation of about 2-3 percent per year. But it's almost always the case that prices of some things go up and some things go down.

For example, new technology products become cheaper after several years. The price of Smart TVs 5-6 years ago was often $5000+ but now you can find many under $1000. And the prices of many things can be very variable based on supply and demand Food, gasoline, travel, etc. Even within the course of a year, prices can vary quite a lot.

But we're talking about escorts here, and escorts are a service industry. Since wages/costs are one of the big components of inflation, of course service industries tend to be more sensitive to inflation. I've noticed this in other service industries as well. A few years ago I could find a decent haircut under $30 but that's pretty much impossible now. Because of the general increase in inflation and wages, I think the $300 an hour is here to stay unless something goes pretty crazy with the economy.

  15. I sometimes enjoy a fresh face, so I will specifically go after new guys with new profiles. There's a search function on RM that lets you do that. Some of those "new" guys are clearly vets just restarting their profile. But many of them are actually new to escorting with new profiles.

I think I kind of enjoy being one of the first to review sometime even one of the first clients of a new escort. Maybe it's my former teacher background, but I kind of enjoy giving them a few pointers with their presentation (if they ask for it). In general, I think I feel I am a pretty good client in most ways. So I think it helps to be with a client early on that's not a time waster or a druggy weirdo. You'd be surprised how many guys I've met who stop escorting after a few months (or only accept existing clients) because of the barrage of terrible inquiries and clients.

Sometimes, the experience doesn't work out well. But often it does and I've made many of these newbies into regulars.

The dozens of gay bars throughout the city which are frequented by locals usually only have security in the parking lot to keep the vehicles from being broken into.  On a busy Saturday night they might also check identification for age, but this is not the norm.

What you describe is similar to gay bars in Denver even just a few weeks ago. I guess I am curious if you've noticed anything has changed since the Club Q shooting.
