This is absolutely insane lol no, don't send letters to people asking to hire them for escorting. Leave strangers alone if they are not communicating with you. 

My thought on a deposit with someone I don't know ... an invitation for me to be ripped off. There's got to be a certain amount of good faith and trust on both sides - intuitively - at least for me.

As a client, I wouldn't pay a deposit for an in call, but honestly for an outcall where the provider has to drive an hour or more, it definitely makes sense to provide some kind of compensation. I think your best bet is to let them know that up front if you're traveling.

So I did a thing this weekend that took me way out of my comfort zone. I attended a bodybuilding competition and propositioned a competitor for a private posing session. I waited until after the show to make my approach but in the end, was not successful. He was nice about it but just wasn’t into that scene so it wasn’t at all a humiliating moment for me. Still, I’d like to hear from other muscle enthusiasts.  How do you approach a bodybuilder or fitness competitor and close the deal?  With the Olympia coming up in a few weeks, I’d like to get the courage to try this again with a little more confidence and preparation on my side. Sure it's possible.   I have 3 clients that were (and are)  friends.    It requires a serious conversation about responsibility and the fine line between work  (escorting)  and friendship.   The lines cannot be blurred.   If booked,  I expect to be paid as with any client.    Because they have been friends,  my responsibilities to them are not any different.     I would say I have several clients (who I met from booking)  who are "friendly with me"  if I see them outside a booking.    Not sure I can say we are "friends",   but I haven't had any issues in this area to date.

I get hired sometimes for that. In the sense that it involves being with the client with no expectation that sex will happen. It usually is simply spending time with them. We’ll probably be naked, we’ll do some massage, we’ll eat, chat, just cuddle. It’s important to them that there’s no explicit agenda. I mean it just really depends on how much or how little you care about being disappointed again. If a guy has to reschedule an appointment, I don't mind giving him another chance, but if he charged me full price and stopped services halfway through our session, that's not something I'd overlook.

Airbnb in good in theory, but there were a lot of abuses:
1. People removing long-term rental housing from the market by converting apartments into makeshift hotel rooms.
2. Increased traffic in apartment buildings with no doorman or other security other than locks on the doors results in increased threats to residents. 
3. Depending on the sensibleness of the "host," they may create a nuisance such that the other neighbors in the building no longer have "quiet enjoyment" of their residents.  That's what happened to me.  My upstairs neighbors turned their small 1-bedroom apartment into a flop house where 4-6 people stayed at a time, mostly younger people visiting the city to "party."  This meant that in the early evening it was always incredibly noisy in my apartment, and then around the time the bars closed I would be awakened and there would be noise for a couple of additional hours.  I kid you not that I probably only got 3 hours of sleep per night during that period until they were evicted (which happened because I did some investigative work and outed them to the landlord).
Speaking of which -- it takes some nerve to take someone else's investment property and turn it into your own without consent of the property owner.  They were basically greedy in the extreme and did not care that their actions were causing problems for anyone else because they were probably making $2,000 per month over their rent by renting it out on a nightly basis.
I have stayed in some Airbnbs, but I am not an unreasonable guest like the ones I had most of the time in the unit above mine.  I don't have people over who aren't on the rental agreement.  I abide by the host's rules (don't exceed the maximum number of guests).  I don't make a lot of noise at any time of day, but particularly early morning or in the middle of the night.
